I love this cream. I have sensitive skin and use a retin a cream
I can understand why so many people have commented on the heat type feel-this is a sensitivity from the high concertrate of vitamin C. Vitamin c and Retin A creams are like the MUST have anti wrinkle products! Your skin gets used to the concentrate of vitamin C after a little while (does not mean its working any less). I noticed an immediate difference, this is likely due to silicone ingredients which plumps in lines and creates a smoother look, this is not a permanent fix but it does look amazing esp for putting on make up etc. The vitamin C however works to help your skin to produce more collegen and is best applied topically but you shoud take it orally also :)

This is the best eye cream I've tried so far (I've tried a lot!). It visibly firms my under eye skin and that area just seems clearer. I like the warming effect upon contact. It feels like it's working when I feel that.

I hated this product. It has a very granular consistency and it gave off a "heat" once applied. It didn't help with fine lines. I returned it after a few weeks because the heat and consistency were just weird.

It did sting. Got this as a sample and was actually very eager to try it. It was good first and second time I used it. But afterwards, I couldn't stand the feeling so I washed my eye area with water right away. It's kinda weird that this is not suitable for sensitive skin, to think that the undereye area is one of the most sensitive part of our skin.

Not sure why there are many bad reviews for this but I find that after using this product for about 2 months followed by my anti-aging eye cream, my eye area has brighten alot and the fine line has soften abit... will be buying another tube to sustain the results.. However, as this product contains a very high level of vit C, you need to strictly use within the stipulated time frame of 6 months as the contents will turn yellow (meaning that product cant be used anymore)

Should be discontinued! Wish I had tried a sample... This product is terrible! Stinging, burning and no positive effects. Save your money on this one and do yourself a favour and try La Roche posay Redermic for eyes

Before you buy it, definitely get a sample and try it out first.
I previously used Kiehl's Eye Alert and was pretty satisfied with the hydration it provides. Then I thought I wanted something to repair the dark eye circles, so I went in the store and the store assistant suggested me to get the Line Reducing Eye-Brightening Concentrate.
When I started using it, I got the stinging feeling like so many people. One time, I smeared a little of the product on my upper eye lid by accident, the next day I woke up to a swollen eye lid. It was a pain. I had my mom tried it and her (upper eye lid) swelled as well. Probably genetically similar sensitive skin. I stopped using it for a few weeks and just tried a bit recently and I noticed the next morning something grew just under my upper eye lashes and it hurt.
I don't use eye make-ups or any other eye products, so I can be sure to say the irritation was really caused by this product.
As for result, well, I did apply for a few times. But since I couldn't regularly apply this product without fearing for negative reaction, I can't say it works or not. I have switched to another brand of eye cream and I have not had the same bad experience.

I love Kiehls and been using their products since I was 16. Sadly, this was a big ol' miss. I had gone to Nordstroms for the avocado eye cream but the sales girl talked me into this stuff.... big mistake. It did nothing - seriously. I used the entire tube of it and really didn't notice anything different.... it sorta stung in the beginning but I couldn't tell why. It's an oily serum consistency and comes in a super tiny tube, I applied at night a tiny amount for both eyes. Nothing. I later purchased the Kiehl's avocado eye treatment and liked that much more... it felt luxurious and actually hydrated my eye area!

Well....I bought this product because of my dark circles. I noticed no wrinkles before, but after a week of using it, I started froming wrinkles under my eye. This product stings and saw that it actually dried and burned my skin and that's when I realized why the wrinkles were forming due to my skin being so dry. This morning at work, I went to the rest room and noticed that the skin under my started peeling as if I got sun burnt. The only thing I like about this product is how smooth it glides on and the warming sensation when you apply it, but it can't justify for the 10 min. of burning hell after the nice warm thingling feeling. I won't buy this product again but will keep using it because it was so expensive. I'll give it another week and then chuck it.

I'm quite surprised this product has received so many negative reviews so far! No, it's not a miracle product, and my bags haven't disappeared overnight. But I've been using it twice a day for about a week and they do seem to have faded somewhat (hope it's not an overactive imagination!) Had been using Origins' Ginzing! product before, which genuinely did nothing but use light deflectors, so the idea that this could be working to help get rid of them in the long term is encouraging. (And my under eye circles really are quite bad - a mixture of iron deficiency and late nights, I think!)
Meanwhile, the line-reducing feature definitely does its job in the short-term - it's literally a line-filler, so when applied any noticeable lines become...well, much less noticeable :) Although the texture of the product does feel a little bit PVA-y, and the smell isn't wonderful. Then again, I bought it because a sales assistant said it was Kiehl's best eye-bag targeting product, so am hoping the results will show with continued use. Hopefully it'll continue to reduce the bags - it's a lot of money to pay for such a tiny tube!

Ouch! It worked fine for the first week or so and then it started stinging and itching within 5 mins of applying it. My dark circles are no better either, so it's not as though it was even worth the pain. After 3 weeks, I'm dumping the rest of this. Such a shame since it wasn't cheap to begin with and I generally *love* Kiehl's products. This is now the 2nd product from Kiehl's that I've had to chuck out in a week. Not happy!

been using for 2 months and there is no dramatic change on my eye circle and firmness. The texture is easy to glide on and it has warming effect on my skin, but it sting my eyes when it goes into my eyes. For me, it is just a warm moisturiser for my eyes, which is not valued for money. I notice that there is oxidised like brownish stain on the cap and opening of the packaging too, which i doubted so much on the ingredients they used.

Im 22 years old and I dont see this doing anything for me. I dont feel like I see any difference in color or line reducing. I think perhaps this might work well for more mature skin. The texture is kind of silicone like. There is no fragrance.

I have very dry skin and love this product. My dark circles are nearly gone. I have tried the hylexin and other dark circle creams with very little improvement or effect. This one is amazing.

worst product ive ever purchased in my entire life! its super expensive, oxidizes within 4 months of usage when its stated it can be used up to 6 months. and theres still so much more product left! its so frustrating to spend a tonne on something that did nothing! i dont think it helped reduced my dark circles at all! i have very dark circles to the extend where some people think i looked so haggard and tired like i havent had enough sleep when i actually did. in terms of lines, it did slightly reduced. but the reduction was too little as compared to the price. when u buy expensive product like this, u'd expect to see some improvement if not miracle but this did nothing to my eyes. i'd give 0 star if i could! im super disappointed and i do not recommend anyone to buy this product.

I been using this product since this Summer (It's been about 4 to 5 months, I guess). However, I really don't see "ANY DIFFERENCE" under my eyes. I still see my dark circle and fine flines. Today, I noticed that I even got a little bit more lines under my eyes. This was the first time that I tried the eye concentrate producet. I'm totally disappointed.... I'm middle of 20's, but have some fine lines under my eyes. I hoped that this product could prevent to have more lines and improve my dark circles, but it really didn't do anything.. waste of money.. I'm not sure if it works to reducing fine lines for other people, but it was just like a eye moisturizer for me.

This eye cream has been a miracle product for me. I have dark circles under my eyes that have been there since I was about 8. My pediatrician called it the "allergy mask." I've tried many eye creams, and many brightening undereye treatments/concealers, and this is the only thing that has noticeably reduced my dark circles. I've been using it on and off for about 4 years, and the day after I run out, the difference is notable. People ask me if I have gotten sick, or if I have been getting enough sleep. As soon as I start using it again, the dark circles disappear. It's incredible. I have pretty sensitive skin, but I can use this every night without any adverse effects.
