Works great even on dark hair like mine. Makes my hair super bouncy and shiny!

Finally I bought an Aussie shampoo!! Last night I tested it out on my son's hair (which is obviously virgin hair) to see if it would make a difference. I have to say after it was blow dried I was shocked at how shiny and lighter his hair looked. Lighter as in I could see his natural highlights more. It looked sun touched only way to describe it.
I used it on myself today and wow it smells amazing (smells like citrus). It did feel a bit drying but once I used Aussie's 3 min miracle my hair felt great. I bet if used alone (w/o a conditioner) your hair would be really dry .. so I don't recommend skipping out on conditioner.
I can't stop touching my hair today :) just feels so soft, clean and natural. No heavy residue/greasy feeling. Just clean and bouncy. My hair is dyed right now and it did bring out the red more. I can't wait to see what it does when my hair is finally virgin again!
I just can't get over that I avoided Aussie this long. I really underestimated its potential.
I did give it a 2 in packaging bc that cap is a pain in the ass. People aren't joking when they say it hurts to open. I must remember not to close mine >.<

I was using an expensive salon brand but it was weighing my hair down and just making my hair feel awful. So, I bought this to alternate with a clarifying shampoo/conditioner. I have normal, fine hair, but a TON of it. This shampoo/conditioner definitely helped bring life back into my hair. My hair is shiny and light feeling. However, the day I wash my hair with this set, it does feel a little greasy, but the 2nd day it feels amazing. Weird, I know.
The caps on these bottles are horrible. They are hard to open the first time and mine don't close. The bottle is easy to squeeze though. I use this product twice a week and my clarifying set once a week. I bought this set in March and I'm about half way through the bottle (I bought the small/regular size).
The only reason I probably won't repurchase this is because every time I buy a 2nd bottle, my hair decides it doesn't like the product anymore. It never fails. So I buy something different every time to keep my hair happy.

I used this a while back and I really did like it but most of the time I have to use a dandruff shampoo. Anyways this left my hair shiny, soft and looking nice which is less than I can say for head and shoulders a(maybe its the hard water). Today I went to target and couldn't find it so the search continues!

Love love love this product. I love that it comes in a jumbo pump dispenser. It works great, smells great, and it lasts for months. I went through my jumbo bottle and bought another brand instead--now I am kicking myself because the new brand doesn't compare to Aussie! Will definitely buy again!

I love the Sun touched shine collection from Aussie. I used to use the shampoo, conditioner, the leave-in spray, and the gel. They really do make your hair shinier. Unfortunately what my hair really needs is moisture, especially since I got it permed. That's one thing this line will not provide much of, at least in my experience. It smells wonderful, though. Aussie products are some of the best things you can buy from the drug store.

I loved this shampoo!! It works so well on my hair, which is usually really oily and a dull blonde colour. But using this shampoo (rotated with a clarifying shampoo every so often), my hair looks great! It's also a pretty light colour, so it can be used as a clarifying shampoo (I suppose).

Update: I started using this everyday and despite the fact that it really cleans my hair, it doesn't dry it out. I really love this shampoo. I tried to switch to the Herbal Essences shampoo for wavy and curly hair and immediately switched back to this. For a basic shampoo for relatively healthy hair (mine has some old color damage and it gets washed everyday) this is a wonderful go-to product.
Original review: This smells great. I used it tonight for the first time to clarify my hair. I usually use Aussie's Cleanse & Mend shampoo and conditioner, both of which contain silicones, which I know sounds weird, but I promise it's true. My hair is super shiny and feels really nice after using Sun Touched Shine. This would probably be too drying for daily use unless you have oily hair, but it's definitely a keeper for me as a clarifying shampoo.

i only used this shampoo once at my friends house, and i liked it a lot. It really did bring out the shine in my hair. The smell wasn't bad. i gave it four stars because i think extended use may cause some dryness, but it could work very well as a cheap clarifying shampoo.

I think this is a great shampoo for lighter colored hair (light brown to light blonde/ red) during summer because it helps bring out highlights. It cleans very well and has a nice scent (most Aussie products smell nice). Didn't notice any drying out and hair felt nice.

Pros: Gets hair really clean; adds some shine; cheap
Cons: Dried my hair out considerably/stripped hair; found the scent to be cloyingly sweet
Overall: Would not buy again

This is one shampoo I would buy again... Hey, wait! The world didn't end :O
I never thought I would see the day where I would finish a bottle of shampoo, least of all consider purchasing it again.
This shampoo (when paired with the conditioner) adds tons of shine, really cleans and leaves hair soft.
I noticed a few more fly aways, but I ususally drench my hair with every moisturizing product I can lay my hands on, so I expected this.
Overall, the nice scent, soft feel and shiny look make this an excellent way to spend $3.50 :)
Update: Original rating of 4 stars. I found that during the winter months, when everything is a little more dry, I could not use this anymore. Also, I was my hair with conditioner only now, so it's a mute point.

It smelled sooo good and really did make my hair smooth and soft. I got hooked to the aussie line, but I always went back to this one b/c I liked that scent the best. I got my hair colored about a month ago so I had to switch to shampoo for color treated hair, but if I go natural again, I'm going back to Aussie. They also have a guarantee, so you can return it for a refund if you don't like it...you've got nothin' to lose. The only thing I didn't like is the cap is SOO hard to open. I always hurt my thumbs or break a nail trying to open it, so once you pry it open, don't close the lid all the way or you'll hurt yourself again...

The only thing that I like about this product is the scent. It did not give my hair the shine it needs. Very disappointed.

eh. I really like Aussie but this definitely didn't do it for me. I've become addicted to the Aussie moist conditioner, but I always messed around to try and find a good shampoo. I have fairly shiny hair to begin with and this didn't really add that much for me, if anything at all. I didn't really notice a difference. What I did notice is that my hair felt like straw the next morning. I have oily roots and dryyyy ends, and though this was good for my roots, the rest of my hair felt like crap. I'll try something else from Aussie, but this definitely wasn't my cup of tea.

Wow. This cheap, OTC shampoo is the first shampoo or conditioner product in any price range that's promised shine and actually delivered. I'm really shocked! I showered last night, went to bed with wet hair, and woke up to find hair that looked significantly less lackluster than it has this winter. I think it might have even brightened up my highlights a bit too.
Still rated it a 4, though, because after I washed it out, my hair felt pretty dry and I had to put in a heavy duty conditioner to put some moisture back into it. That's pretty ok with me, though, since shampoo's supposed to clean and conditioner's supposed to, well, condition! I'm just amazed that for $3.50 my hair looks healthier and more vibrant than it has in years...

Love this shampoo! I hardly ever repurchase the same shampoo/conditioner, I like to mix it up; but this is one of the only kinds I have bought a second time. It's super cheap, you can't beat the price, and it made my hair nice and soft and shiny. (I have long, thick, med brown hair btw) The top of the bottle was a little difficult to open tho.

I'm the type of girl who can never use the same shampoo twice (at least not in a row) so I saw this at Target and figured, "Why not?"
I have long waist length, fine hair. I have a lot of hair though, and although my sister says my hair is already pretty shiny, I tried this out and I think it makes it even more shiny! That's probably the best thing.
Besides the added shine, the shampoo and conditioner are both average. I don't love it, I don't hate it. It didn't sting my eyes, and I have sensitive eyes, but who knows. The bottle is a pain to open though, and I'm not a fan of the consistency (the conditioner is really runny, which means more pours out than I actually need).
Anyway, it's a good product. Not great, just good.

I originally tried this shampoo in the summer, and it stripped my fine hair dry. I put it away, and tried it again in the winter. Oddly enough, it did not strip my hair, but left it feeling clean and semi-soft. I'm satisfied with how it washes my hair, but I can't say I've noticed any additional shine. I will not repurchase. Aussie's Cleanse and Mend is much, much better.
