I bought this product because I have dry skin and thought it would also be nice to slow down aging (this cream is supposedly age defying). It felt very night and light when I applied it on. However, the very next morning, my skin was extremely dry and itchy, and felt extremely tight. My skin was also peeling. I then used regular lotion doing what I could to make it less dry. This was around $12 when I purchased it. I will not buy it again

This product evened out my skin and cleared up the acne spots on my face. My mother got this for me after the gel I was using to clear up my acne caused sever dry skin and peeling. The cream is an intensive moisturizer that doesn't cause break outs, so I would recommend it to others. Olay products can run a little pricey, but I think its worth it.

I have been using this for quite a while now and I like it. My face is starting to look a little bit better in terms of my skin looking more even and bright. It hasn't broke me out and though it has fragrance, I find that it does not linger too long on the skin. I'm twenty-eight years old now so fine lines are becoming a concern for me. While this doesn't obliterate them completely it does smooth the surface so that makeup application is better for me. For that, I'm happy. I'm pretty sure there are better anti-aging night creams out there, but for my wallet, this is sufficient.

This review is for the Age Defying Classic Night Cream.
I bought this because I wanted extra hydration for the winter months, I love many products by Olay but this did not work for me.
I have only been using it a week and it has broken me out like crazy. I stopped using it last night and my skin is already calming down. I used this over my acne treatment and it stings for the first few minutes after applying. It didn't provide me with the extra moisture or do any good for me at all.

This moisturizer seemed okay initially but then I started to break out and it got pretty bad so I discontinued using it and switched back to my Skinceuticals regimen and my face cleared up in a few days. I used the Olay product for about two weeks - long enough to give my skin time to adjust to it. The moisturizer burned my skin and irritated my rosacea. I decided to buy it to see if I could get away with using a cheaper nightime moisturizer. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and in this case, it wasn't much.

This is a review of the basic ("classic") night cream. This product is okay, but just okay. On the plus side, it feels nice on my skin, doesn't break me out, and smells good. However, I wish it were a little more moisturizing, and I didn't really notice any kind of serious improvement in my skin--I don't feel like it did much more for me than a coat of my regular old moisturizer would. I guess I'd just like a night cream that's a little heavier and a little more "active." As far as the packaging, it's fine. I know jars are less hygienic, etc, but I have to admit I kind of like the ritual of applying night cream out of a jar (though I do wish more things were packaged in glass rather than plastic). All in all, while I appreciate the low price point, I think a good night cream is something I'm definitely willing to drop the big bucks on, so perhaps I just need to suck it up and go with a department store brand...or at least try Regenerist.

I haven't noticed any real improvement in my skin since I added this to my nightly routine. My skin doesn't seem more luminous, plump or clear. At least one of these things I expect of a good night cream.

As an added issue this cream doesn't really sink into my skin, this cream never seems to completely dry. Even when I apply it an hour or more before bed my face still feels sticky and tacky. I find this quality annoying as I sometimes like to sleep on my side and I hate how it feels like my face is glued to my pillow. I went to using it as a neck cream, but the stickiness is a real issue though since if I bend my neck my skin will stick together where I bend my neck. Bottom line: This stuff has be relegated to hand lotion.

It's a great evening moisturizer that has a very slight gel feel to it, which is great when you are oily. I am not saying it is a gel, but to those of us who have very oily to acne-prone skin, "creams" can really scare you away!
Anyway, I take a small bit about the size of a dime, and rub it between my hands lightly, and then pad it into my skin. It absorbs within minutes, and conditions the skin nicely while I sleep! I use it over any treatments - oh and a bit extra so I can apply it to my neck as well.

This is a good basic night moisturizer. It is really gentle, which is nice because my skin is like a baby's butt and it freaks out over any little thing. It dries quickly, doesn't feel sticky, and when I wake up in the morning my skin feels soft and moisturized. I sometimes use it during the day with sunscreen if my skin is especially dry or cranky, and it doesn't make me look extra greasy at all. This is good stuff!

This is for the basic age-defying cream. I have been using this for about 8 months and I really like the way this feels after applying. It isn't super oily or greasy and I don't wake up feeling like I need to scrub my face. Its a good moisturizer and a good product for its cost.

This is a review for the purple box.

I have decently oily skin (mostly in my T zone) and since it said oil free on the back, I figured I might be ok... I woke up with basically an oil slick on my face. I used it for about a week and it's just way too hydrating. It feels non greasy but it causes my face to produce so much oil!

It smells great and would probably be great for someone with drier skin, but defiantly not for me. Right now I'm just using it on my neck and hands so I would at least get something out of it lol

I've been using the Olay Age-defying anti-wrinkle replenishing night cream for about 2-3 months now and all that I've really noticed is it really makes my skin feel smooth and soft. I'm only 21 so I guess I'm not going to see any wrinkles effect just yet. This cream isn't oily at all. Once it goes on your face, it evaporates and gives you a matte touch to it. Love that! Overall, it's a pretty good night cream. I'm still searching and exploring new night creams.

This review is for the anti aging cream available with blue packaging. I've been using this product for a while now, and have always come back to it. It does a great job of keeping my face moisturized through the night without feeling greasy. I will say, however, it takes a while for the product to sing into my face. This doesn't bother me, though, as I apply it right before bed. I can't comment on the age defying-quality, as I'm in my mid 20s and aren't going through the aging process just yet. I've been using this for quite some time, though, and hope that it's paying off! This has great packaging, too, which is a plus for me. I love anything in a jar :)

My mom gave this jar to me a year ago and it has been sitting in my dresser until 4 weeks ago. I have acne prone skin and would rather not apply any night cream (except for benzoyl peroxide on a few spots) on my face to prevent break outs. I have tried a few products in the past and they just didnt work for me.
I have recently been reading about the difference of day creams and night creams and the importance of both especially at my age. And so i tried this product alone, hesitantly at first. After 4 weeks, i still didn't have any breakout. Not only that, my acne spots which i had for ages have cleared up. I noticed this as early as 2 weeks. i may sound like an ad but I have smoother, clearer skin. My mom uses this line for 6 to 8 years, and new line of Olay products, pricier ones have come up, I cant believe a lot of reviews say this is still one of the best...maybe atleast for my age group.

This review is for the Olay Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Night Cream. I recently tried this for a second time. The first time was used in combination with Burt's Bees radiance serum and I thought that was what caused me to break out. I have since learned not to try several new products at one. Anyways, I decided to try this during my Christmas break and it went horribly. The skin of my jaw and chin have broken out in red, cystic, painful acne and my skin looks worse than before. I know this works wonders for others, and bully for you! :D But for my extremely sensitive skin, especially to BHA and other acids found in major/popular skincare products, and this fell lower than flat. Sadly it is currently sitting in my trash bin waiting for monday and the garbage man to come around.

This is a pink gel like cream that puts water onto the skin and holds it there with the slippery gel. Clinique makes one like this. I don't care for this type of cream. I don't like the slightly sticky feeling or the slipperiness.
The gel evaporates which gives the impression it is "soaking in". You are left without much of anything on the skin except for some dampness.
If you have oily skin this may be all you need. I very much love Olay Total Effects Night Firming Cream and see dramatic improvement in my skin from that one. Although this costs half as much at around $10, I will stick with the Total Effects Night cream.

Great product!
Been using it about a week, and my skin feels smoother, clear and evenly hydrated, but not at all greasy. I am VERY happy with this! Can't beat the price. I'm not as concerned about the anti-aging properties and am using this mostly for prevention, but I do feel that this has improved the overall appearance of my skin. It feels firmer and brighter, more even. I have even gone without foundation for a few days and just used concealer on my hereditary dark circles and a little powder to set. I haven't done that in ages!

(This review is for the basic Age Defying Night Cream by the way, not the Anti-wrinkle version. It looks like both are reviewed here....)

My review is also for the “Olay Anti-Wrinkle Replenishing Night Cream” like most of the reviews here. It seems that the wrong picture is shown for this product and the “Intensive” Moisturizer from the same Olay line has a separate review area.

In search of an oil-free night cream that keeps my skin richly hydrated (especially in harsh winters), but isn’t greasy or cause me to break out is a challenge. After coming up with several options, mostly from Olay, I decided to try this one first. My first thought was that I wished this was fragrance free. While the scent isn’t bad (floral), it’s surprising for someone like me who avoids fragrance in cosmetics, so that’s the only negative about this product. The fragrance didn’t seem to bother my skin, though. It was very moisturizing, feeling rich in my hands but not heavy or greasy on my face. My skin is soft and smooth. I don’t have any major wrinkles, so I use this for preventative measures rather for repairing. It was plenty moisturizing for dry winters, though I did not try it in summer so I do not know if it will be sufficient or too rich. As for packaging, I wish it wasn’t in a jar as tubes are more hygienic and easier to travel with. I’ve decided to try other night creams before deciding on what will become my staple, but this cream is definitely in the running.
