Although this item is no longer available as it was LE back in 2002, I felt like I had to review it. It's probably one of my all time favorite trios from Stila, or anyone for that matter. No matter what, I get compliments when I wear it as it really makes my blue / green eyes POP. It has three shades of purple, all of which are very shimmery (dare I say frosty?) A light pink (similar to Heather but this is better IMO), a medium taupey plum (similar to Grace, but this is better IMO), and a dark shimmery plum (similar to Poise, but this is better IMO) which I usually use wet as a liner. If you can find it UNUSED on eBay or MUA, grab it! You won't regret it! I wouldn't go for a used one since it's probably 7 years old at this point.

I love this trio. The purples in this trio are gorgeous. They really bring out my olive green eyes and they go on so smoothly. Stila shadows IMO are very pigmented, so the payoff is great.

I wear this trio every time I get. Its really lovely. Another winner from Stila!

I would repurchase.

Nice trio of purples. I like to wear these at night. They are HOT. I swear to God. I mean, when I wear these, *pow!* There is no other word. I'd recommend these to ANYONE!

If you love purples, then this is a must have. limited edition trio of purples. Kinda similiar to the new 2005 rain showers but much more pigmented. Three shimmery shades of purple, a light pink, medium taupey plum, a dark shimmery plum. Gorgeous trios and one of my favorites. (have all of them). Retails for $28.

This has NOW become my officially favorite Stila trio of all!
I cannot believe how wonderful these shades are!
I am not too good at applying eyeshadow, I must say, but my sister-in-law showed me an easy technique and I then tried it with the Capri trio and..oh my goodness! It made my eyes look so glamorous!!!
So easy to blend and the color WILL NOT crease at all!
WOW...I just wish Stila made these round trios again...they're so lovely and so much fun!

Love the Stila eyeshadows. Soft textures and long wearing. This is one of my favorite trios. The middle color seems alot like grace to me also. Very pretty dark purple color for crease and lining.Cute package but not very sturdy.

I am officially in love with these colors! They all look really blah on the box, but don't let it fool you! It looks amazing on. I applied the middle shade (similar to Grace but way better)with a wet brush as a wash over my eyelids, then used the lightest color applied over the brow bone, then finished it off with the dark purple shade (like Poise) applied as an eyeliner, then smudged it with some of brown eyeliner. I just love this look for those days when I want to look glam and polished without looking too made up.

This trio looks great in the pan and has cute packaging. Others described the colors well. I think this would be great for some, but not for me. On my shade c skin w/ yellow undertones it makes me look tired. I've really tried to make this work but it didn't do much for my blue eyes and everytime I wear it I look tired or lightly bruised. Such a bummer!

I was looking for a nice subtle and slightly smoky lilac-purple-burgandy eye look and this trio is just it! LB Cool palette was too cool and pastel for me so I'm glad I swapped for this! I get a subtle smoky purple eye look that has surprising depth despite it's so-so appearance when I first laid eyes on it.

This is my favorite Stila Trio. The colors look great on, though they can be a bit dark if I apply to heavily. I love wearing the middle shade on the lid with the dark plummy color as a liner. It makes my blue-gray-green eyes pop and stand out, without looking like I am wearing too much makeup. This is a great alternative for me, because I am so pale and pink toned instead of wearing brozey colors to make my eyes pop (they are too warm). This does the job perfectly

I love this trio. I had picked out an outfit for a wedding I was going to, when I saw this trio, and realised they would be perfect with the colours of the outfit. The trio is kind of expensive, but for the three shades you get, I think it is worth it. I love to apply this with the medium shade (a medium mauve shade) all over the lid, the light shade (a shimmery lilac), on the browbone and the dark shade (a deep purple) smudged over some black eye pencil. This gives me a glamourous look that is not over the top. However, I think it would be too shimmery for an every day look. I find I have to apply the shadows over a base for them to last, but when I do, they last for ages.

I was lucky enough to get my hands on this trio recently and I'm so glad I did! The colors (described well below) are beautiful and blend perfectly together, making it extremely easy to use. I love the convenience of having my look coordinated and ready to go, and this trio is a real time-saver. The shadows are silky smooth and easy to blend, just as all my Stila e/s have been, so no complaints there! They are well pigmented but not heavily pigmented, so I can use them sheerly, which is especially nice with the darkest color. And the shimmer in these is quite soft and 'pretty', not gaudy or garish looking, so I can easily wear this day or night. This ranks high on my wearability scale (I have brown eyes), but I think it would look great with almost any eye color. We all know (and probably hate) Stila's cardboard packaging, but I'm willing to overlook that for now because I just love what's inside it! This is just a really versatile and lovely trio, and if it were ever to become available again I wouldn't think twice about getting another!

This is a gorgeous plummy trio for hazel eyed girls. The colors are described below, so I won't go into that. I have to say, though, that while the middle color is very similar to Grace, I like it better than Grace because it doesn't have all the chunky glitter. It's convienient to carry for travel, and the clors are beautiful. If you have a chance to get this, snap it up.

Here´s my take on this trio: the lighest shade is very similar to Heather single; the middle shade might just as well be Grace; and the darkest one is definitely Poise with a bit more shimmer added. It´s a gorgeous combination on hazel-green eyes, but the shimmer can be a bit overwellming.

This is a fantastic trio! I love all the colors so much, especially the middle one which is a shimmery mauve on me. And I agree with the previous reviewer, I can't find a flaw in this lovely trio. It's really pretty even though it doesn't look that nice in its packaging (kind of blah). I adore this almost as much as I love Apres Ski. Rave for this!

I love this eyeshadow!! I've never tried Stial before so this is my first purchase from them, and I'm very impressed :) This shadow is very very soft, goes on soooo smoothly, and it stays the entire day! I can't find not one flaw with this eye shadow trio, the colors aren't too dark or harsh looking, they give just the right amount of color tp give me a gorgeous look! I'll definately be buying from this line again soon. :)

I only wore this twice or so before I swapped it. The shades are absolutely beautiful and the packaging is so cute, but they were SO frosty. Looked horrible on me :( Shame.

Rave reviews are given about this trio, but I am still having a hard time working with it. Sometimes my look will turn out great. But sometimes I will look like I just got into a fight (brused). Probably because the light purple colour is very shimmery and I have fair colouring. So I mostly use the other two colours and skip the base shadow. Probably would not purchase again.

I have read some reviews that say this is a super shimmery trio and this is true. I ususally can't do a lot of shimmer, but this trio works for me.I think it because of the pretty color ontes. The medium mauvey color is very pretty as a contrast or on the lid. The darkest color, a shimmery plum is gorgeous as a liner or as a crease color.

This is a super shimmery, almost frosty purple eyeshadow trio. However, it doesn't look like I've step out of the 80's even when I apply it with a heavy hand. You can wear the colors sheerly for a daytime look or wear the colors more intensely for an alternative smokey eye look. The purples really complement my brown eyes. This is by far my favorite Stila trio to date.
