I like this lip product over ELF super glossy lip shine.
Pro:
-It give more of a sheen than glossy.
-It doesn't dry out my lips but it does have poor lasting power.
-It isn't very sticky
-It gives a nice red tint/color to my lips.
Con?:
It has a coconutty/vanilla smell but its not too bad.
I do use a brush with it than my fingers.
I would buy again, too bad ELF doesnt have it on their site anymore. I found it at a dollar store but I checked a different dollar store near my house but it doesn't have it. So that sucks. Is it discontinued?

i actually really like this! it gives off a nice color and it's very moistuizing. it keeps my lips soft and repairs them if they are to dry/peeling. smell and taste are nice as well.

I bought this and got an extra as a free gift. They should've kept it! Color output is non-existent. It goes on as any gloss, basically just scented vaseline, no medicinal ingredients.
I prefer a balm you dont have to use your fingers.
The only good thing i have to say about it is the scent/taste which are yummy.

Ok...a colour lip gloss in a pot?? That's not practical. Otherwise, I really love this. Its a cute subtle red colour that is really flattering. I can't really use it, unfortunately, because it makes my lips peel (as all lipsticks and glosses do, other than clinique), but I think others would really enjoy it. Got mine for free with order but I think they are going for 50 cents or something on the website. Good bargain!

I bought this for the novelty of a lipgloss in a tine. has a little red tint you apply with your finger or lipbrush. It's waxy with a little taste of cherry. cute but not a rebuy.

I like the tint this product gives to my lips, it makes them look nicely bitten and not too overdone. I use a lip brush with this gloss, so I have no problem with the packaging. I like the smell too.
But the best thing that I have discovered with this gloss is that it works beautifully as a cream blush! I apply it with a brush and then simply dub my fingers on my cheeks to make it look more natural. I couldn't believe how pretty it came out the first time I tried it! I put it on my cheeks and lips to make my look nicely coordinated.

The packaging is what made me buy this product. I thought it was so cute so I decided to buy it. The color cherry bomb looks really nice on my lips, it gives my lips a natural, reddish, slightly glossy look. This product doesn't last long though, and it doesn't smell like cherries at all. I have this lip gloss in different colors and they all smell the same, coconutty. The smell doesn't bother me but I just wish the smell was appropriate to its name.

I don't think of this as a lip balm because it's not very moisturizing but I like the nice tint of red it adds to my lips and I even like the smell, it's like chocolate covered cherries. This with my current MLBB lipstick Sugared Maple from Lancome creates a really gorgeous natural red lip on me. The packaging is also too cute! Totally love it and you can even remove the top when it comes to time when you have to get in that corner. There is a slightly odd sensation on my lips when I put it on though, almost like I put on a lip plumper. Nonetheless this is dirt cheap and I like :)

This is a freebie that I received from e.l.f. It's a tinted lip balm that comes in a metal container. It's a nice cherry tint, not too bright pink, or cherry red ~ it's actually a perfect color.
I keep all of my lip balms, and lip glosses in a crystal jar on my bedside nightstand. I live in the desert and my lips are always so dry. This makes it easy to always have a lip balm to go with my pj's! HA!! I doubt I will buy this again ~ it's too teenager for me!
P.S. All of the Candy Shop Lip Balms are on clearance for 50 cents.

I got this as a freebie with my ELF order. It's a pretty color with a nice balmy texture. I don't like gloss so that's a good thing. It leaves a pretty sheer red sheen. My only real problem with this is the smell. I don't know what's going on there... It's like a really strong, almost soured(?!) amaretto. It's really sweet smelling and the stink REALLY sticks to anything it touches. haha. I think maybe the other flavors are the way to go!

This was the one I wanted most out of the lip tins in the beginning. I actually found this in a 3 pack with Frosting Fanatic and Coconut Craze at my local Big Lots store for just $2.00 which is awesome because you pay that for just one of the tins on the ELF site. However, this was not my favorite. It is really good though. It does NOT smell like cherry at all, but it does have a nice scent to it. My favorites out of the lip tins are Frosting Fanatic and Mocha Maniac! Those two are awesome. They have great smells and I think overall the texture of these glosses are wonderful!! I love how they feel on my lips.

Just for the quality you get with the inexpensiveness, I would buy again. While it is a sticky texture, it is nicely tinted and stays put for quite some time. I think that for staying power, you gotta sacrifice--and in this case, the stickiness is what you have to put up with. I don't mind it much though, and for the price, I definitely think you get a lotta product and very good value! I'm not fond of the slidy nature of the tin though, as I find it sometimes slides open in my bag...resulting in a sticky mess. However, the design and packaging aesthetic is quite cute, and all in all it's a handy little tin to have for blunder-proof lip gloss applications :)

This came free with one of my E.L.F orders and has surprisingly become one of my favorite E.L.F products. I actually like the smell, its kind of like a chocolate cherry. I only wish they had included a brush because application can be a little messy. The color is like a nice glossy stain and the consistency is perfect (not sticky at all). Perfect for every day use.

Great packaging and you get quite a lot of product. The gloss feels more like a lip balm to me, but I like that. It's quite pigmented but definitely not opaque. Easily my favourite lip product right now. I'll be collecting all of the colours.

I received a 11 g E.L.F. Candy Shop Lip Gloss in Cherry Bomb as a freebie with my purchase during E.L.F.'s 75% off sale on their Studio line. The packaging is the size of a small Altoids tin can; however, rather than flipping open the lid you need to slide it to the left. You are able to fully remove the lid to access the last bit of gloss, so I don't see any negatives with this design.
There's a fair amount of lip gloss, so this will probably last me a good while. The colour in the can is a fire engine red; however, when applied, you can barely see a tint of pink/red. This is good for me because I don't like my lip glosses with a lot of colour. The texture is soft, creamy wax which easily melts with a touch of your finger (or brush). I apply the lip gloss using a dispensable lip brush to avoid making a mess. When applied, it definitely feels glossy/sticky on my lips. I probably applied it too liberally--this can easily be solved by reducing the amount on the brush. On the plus side, the gloss lasts quite on a long time. Even after drinking (with a straw) and eating. The fragrance isn't the best, think synthetic chocolate, so this can probably give you a nasty headache after a while. Just try not to sniff the can too much.

I gave this along with all my other ones to my neices. The packaging is so cute. I like the old fashion tin, but it's just a mess to apply. I hate sticking my finger in something in order to get product and then have to find something to clean my finger with.
Like I said....really cute idea, but not very handy. This will be perfect for my neices that are just starting to wear lip glosses.
The product is pretty decent. However, the brown one (can't think of the name) tends to look like dried up cake frosting on my lips after a while...and that's not pretty.

This is a surprisingly high-quality gloss- nice consistency, nice pigmentation (very sheer natural red).
The packaging is durable and cute, and it won't slide open in a purse, but having to carry a brush around or apply with my fingers is a huge pain. For $1US, it's not a bad buy.
However, I would NOT NOT NOT recommend this to anyone who is sensitive to fragrances, as it is quite possibly the most bizarre and disgusting scent I have ever experienced. It's like coffee, but then again, not like coffee. It smells like an airplane cabin to me. Every time I wear this gloss, I get incredible headaches. I won't be rebuying :( Pity, because aside from the scent, this is a nice gloss!
**UPDATE** I'm removing a lippie, I just can't wear this. The fragrance is truly headache-inducing.

Cute packaging. Feels nice on my lips. Creamy and moisturizing. You get a lot of product for $1! The only problem is the smell/taste of this stuff. It smells like a synthetic chocolate scent, and the taste is similar to that. It's sort of gross. lol Not enough to make me throw it out or anything. I'll definitely use this stuff. But I'm not buying another one ever again.

Overall I like this product. The consistency is rather creamy which surprised me, I though it would be more waxy than it is. It is very sticky when applied to your lips which might bother some, but I don't mind it much. The smell isn't too pleasant, I don't know how to describe it, but it's not really bad either. I love the packaging I think it's adorable. But the best thing about it is the color it gives you, it really is a nice sheer red toned color, it's really very nice. It doesn't last too long but it does stain your lips a bit. So I like it for that reason. I would buy this product again, it's super cheap so that's why. I got three for $2.50 at Big Lots. If it was more than $1 a piece though I would not.
