Smells earthy. Great lather and one of the best deep cleaning shampoos I've used. The tiny bits can get in your hair sometimes but they come out easy. Can be drying of you use everyday tho.

I've had my bar since November so it's lasted me a while and it's still got a lot of use left. I don't find that the herbs get stuck in my hair that much, I guess it's just the texture of my hair. If you have fine hair or hair that gets easily tangled it would probably be annoying.
I like the smell and it has helped me get rid of my severe dry scalp. I've tried pretty much everything. I used prescription shampoo and although it did help, it said to only use it once a week and the flakes could come back after a day or two. And head and shoulders just made it much much worse. So I tried this one. It's gotten my dry scalp under control. It's not completely flake free, but the flaking is minimal now and isn't bother some and my scalp isn't itchy any more.
The only thing I don't like about this bar is that it gets sticky and kind of like a gel when you put it away to dry. I don't use a tin, rather I use one of those large clear containers they gave me a sample in. I stand it on it's side to dry and which ever part is touching the container gets like a gel. Mine also takes a long time to dry out. I wash my hair at night and by the after noon the following day it's still soft enough to squish if I press it.

I love the smell. It cleans my super long hair well but I don't like the bits in it sometimes they stick in my hair. Also it is messy even with the tin. Overall I'll probably repurchase.

I may be writing this review a little too soon but at the moment I really like this shampoo. I was recommended it by the LUSH sales assistant because I suffer with an itchy scalp and this has really helped - it hasn't cured the problem but using it on the days between when I use a medicated shampoo this doesn't aggravate the condition. It also leaves my hair feeling soft and looking shiny. I like the scent of the product too. I like the idea of the solid shampoo bar but you have to make sure it is left to air dry and doesn't get wet between shampoos otherwise it turns into a gloopy mess.

My holy grail shampoo now, after more than a year of trialling expensive and cheap shampoos. This preservative free and compact shampoo won't irritate my sensitive scalp (naturally oily hair, but strangely dry irritated scalp).
Thanking shampoo gods for this one.

I am a repeat purchaser of this product. It has no plastic bottle, which for me is just the best thing about it. One bar lasts me 4 months (but I do have a crop haircut). My hair looks, feels, and smells great. Brilliant. EDIT: 2012. I don't have a crop any more, and I had to give up on Squeaky Green. It makes my hair really LANK. This is odd for a product meant for oily hair. To me, it just makes it worse. So now, I just use Seanik. I hope they don't stop making it.

I use this shampoo with conditioner, and my hair has never been softer! But at the same time, it makes my hair limp which has never happened to me before (I have a lot of very straight hair, and it never looks this sad). I really like the scent of it, but I hated the metal tin it came in - it was hard for me to open in the shower, and the shampoo would always stick to it. I just use a soap dish, and it works fine, but the shampoo is a little messy. I also really like that it lathers well, and I don't mind the bits of grass. I also have oily hair, and this shampoo hasn't made it worse, and my hair feels clean after showering. I mostly wear my hair pulled back in the summer though so I wouldn't really notice if my hair was oilier anyway. I wouldn't buy this again because there are drugstore shampoos that I like more and are cheaper

I bought this shampoo bar to try and help my hair which gets oily the day after washing (and sometimes even the same night as it's been washed). I was excited to try the product after reading the reviews on MUA but was really disappointed with the results on my hair.
Not only did it do absolutely nothing to help prevent the oiliness, it actually felt worse. My hair didn't feel as clean as I can get it with other shampoos but it also made my ends very dry. I persisted with this shampoo for about a week but gave up. My hair used to be (bottle) blonde however I dyed it back to dark brown about a year ago and my colour faded a LOT after using this shampoo for only a week.

I really didn't like this at the start, it made my hair really greasy and lifeless. I think this was because my hair hadn't adjusted to it yet, I've used it for about a month now and may hair isn't greasy after washing, although one downside is that it gets greasier much quicker compared to other lush shampoo bars. I actually think the worst thing about this product is the grittiness of it, which I find can be hard to rinse out.

Tried it a few times.. had to use my conditioner, which, to me defeated the purpose of this. I mean, this is supposed to be more natural and easy to travel with, but i still have to use another conditioner which is liquid..
the smell is nice..i feel like it might leave the small bits of "grass" or whatever it is in my hair.. I have wavy hair and this completely dries my locks out.. i will never purchase this again, glad i got it in a sample pack and didnt waste the full price on it.

Aptly named, effective and fun product. Does the job, so much so that i use less conditioner now. makes your scalp feel strong, and your hair shiny and healthy and easy to work with. I love the smell of rosemary.

it 's a non-smelling ,non-drying , very good cleanser for hair.at the bath i felt all the dirt and oil washed away from my sculp .but leaves very soft ,cleaned hair.it's easier to use then other shampoo bars from lush because it's squared.love it

Let me just say that I am addicted to Lush.
I tried this shampoo bar because i had just dyed my hair and was looking for something natural that would not strip my new color quickly. The girl recommended this against all the other shampoos, but when I got home and washed my hair, i looked down to see the dye washing out.
Thank god that the hair dye colored my hair way darker than I wanted. With the color taken out my hair it actually looks like color i was going for. Still, DO NOT USE THIS ON COLOR TREATED HAIR.
This shampoo is meant for oily hair, especially if you want to take away all that residue left by gel, hairspray, mouse and other styling products.
Regardless, I still love Lush.

This lasted me six months! Although, I probably should have tossed it after four. The first four months were GREAT! It smells great, left my hair super clean, soft and bouncy.
The last two months...it became harder to get a good lather and I was never able to get all the residue out. I also had to comb my hair several time times to make sure I got all the pieces of grass/twigs/whatever was holding the bar together out of my hair.
The good totally outweighs the bad though, I just recommend throwing it out when it starts to get smaller than 1/4 of it's original size.

Totally love this stuff. I've become such a LUSH junkie after the SA gave me a sample of Cynthia Sylvia Stout and now that I've tried their solid shampoos, I'm never going back to what I used before. I really didn't expect to like their solid shampoos..the concept just seemed odd to me and the product itself looked weird. Anyway, I'm Asian with long, straight, fine hair that tends to look weighed down unless I use some sort of volumizing product. After blow-drying my hair without any products, I was very pleased to find that I had volume! My hair was light, bouncy and soooo soft. The next day after using it I dried my hair using a round brush and WOW! I had what my friend called "bombshell" hair! What's really amazing is the style lasts all day..I can't stop running my fingers through my hair and just flopping it around. It has an herbally smell that I didn't care for at first but it's grown on me and I'm finding myself sniffing the puck when I'm waiting for my conditioner to do it's work.
Great price considering it'll last me a long time, smells good and beautiful results! Will def buy again.

I'm not quite sure about this schampoo. It smells absolutely lovely. A herbal kind of smell that is still very fresh and clean. I love it! I can also see this lasting for quite some time 'cause you really don't need a lot of it.
What I don't like about it is that I can feel that it strips my hair a bit. It makes my hair feel slightly more dry than usual. But my hair is on the dry side, so it's not really a surprise. It would probably be better suited for someone with normal or slightly oily hair.
So instead of using this everytime I wash my hair I use it after I've treated my hair to Lush "Snake oil" and need a schampoo that really washes it out.

I love it, it didn't totally strip my hair of moisture but it cleansed and didn't dry out too much. The lather smelled amazing, I love it. It rests on my wire hanger on my shower head. I will update later in the month on its last-ability.

This smells herbal, which I like, and even has little twigs and grasses in it or something. It does get your hair very clean and bouncy, but it is drying so you need to use a very good conditioner with it. It also lathers really well with only three swipes.

Teenage hair that needs washing everyday, hair type? Short, Dark Brown,Fine hair, Dry Scalp but Oily roots if that makes sense?, I wash my hair everyday apart from the break between saturday - sunday, and I wanted a new shampoo that would not damage my hair. This shampoo bar works WONDERS. I have been using this product for 20 days now and it hasn't shrunken at all!, and I must say I am in LOVE with it. The smell? very herbal and refreshing, certainly smells fresh! The look however may put you off, not the most pleasing. The twigs people complain about? I don't even notice them! they wash straight out :). This shampoo bar lathers so much! and its not those cheap chemical bubbles you get from typical bottle shampoos, they are small and thick and clean your hair ever so well. I personally store it in a plastic container with a sponge placed under it to prevent sticking and drain it out. The price seemed a tad high for me being a teenager with no income haha, however this has lasted ages and my hair hasn't rejected it like it would with others. Will definitely buy again, Aqua Miriballis is on my shopping list next time i pop into lush! :)
I have kept track of how many uses I've had of squeaky green and the total comes to...103! That is amazing! :) I do not have running water pouring on my head while rubbing the bar on my head so maybe that saves some of it? If you have any questions feel free to ask me! :)

Very nice bar. The smell is nice and it leaves your hair very shiny. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to try out Lush's shampoo bars for the first time.
