To the person who said Niacinimide is not an ingredient in this serum: READ the label again. It is the third or fouth ingredient. Same stuff. Great product.

I thought I would be saving money on this serum but unfortunately I had to throw it away because the serum stings my face, felt like I was putting alcohol on my face. I will stick with the original fragrance free version of olay

At first, I thought this product was a reasonable alternative to the Olay Regenerist, which I had been using faithfully for about 5 years.
This product is a lot greasier than Olay Regenerist; much more than I normally like for my oily skin. But it seemed to absorb fairly well. Although it left a bit of an oily film on the skin, it didn't bother me, since I used it at night.
I also thought it hydrated well and was pleased with the texture of my skin in the morning.
Fast forward to the end of the bottle. I am displeased with the texture and tone of my skin, but didn't immediately make the connection with the imposter serum.
I was really puzzled and couldn't figure out why my complexion seemed so uneven and why I had developed areas of hyperpigmentation; a problem that is common for those with pale skin, but one that I thought I had banished with a dilligent skin care routine and fanatical use of sunscreen.
Then it occured to me that it might be the serum. I decided to do some investigative work, and found that the CVS product does not contain niacinimide which is one of the KEY ingredients in the Olay Regenerist and one that was largely responsible for the clear, even tone I had come to expect of my skin.
Well that explained it.
I'm going back to Olay Regenerist. One does not tamper with perfection.

LOVE the product!! LOVE the price!
I used to use the dior hydraction serum ($76) and was able to justify the pricey product because of the wonders it did for my dry dry skin. Now i have found a $15 dollar alternative in this product and am so excited because there is no difference in the way my skin reacts to it. It is like magic. My dry skin is a memory when I wear this under my moisterizer and I am in love!!!

I agree with the other reviewers that this Olay knock-off is worth the price. This daily serum goes on smoothly and leave a silky feel to my skin and works just as well as the Olay Regenerist Serum. I wear this during the day under my tinted moisturizer SPF and it keeps oiliness at bay without any irritation. I also buy the fragrance-free version of this product and it's rare to find a drugstore brand that also includes a fragrance free version. It certainly costs alot less that Olay and works just as well. This is a winner and I will definitely keep on purchasing.

Great product. Works as well as Olay but much cheaper. I buy mine when CVS has it on sale or has a buy one/get one offer. CVS offers a fragrance free version, which is difficult to find in a generic of this product. I've only seen scented versions at Target and WalMart. I buy the "fragrance free" which has a scent reminiscent of burning tires while you're putting it on. Not so pleasant, but the scent disappears immediately so I'm not complaining.

Great substitute for Olay Regenerist! Same ingredients, same results. Keeps my skin soft and exfoliated. The texture is slightly thinner and the fragrance is subtley there but I will buy this over Olay anyday. It's about $6 cheaper and less if on sale or with a coupon.
