I really like this nail polish and am not at all surprised that it received the "Kiss of Approval Beauty Award" from Cosmo. It's a very fire engine red without any shimmer and I can actually imagine myself wearing it in the spring and summer more than in the colder months-- I tend to wear much more deep, shimmery reds in the fall or over the winter holidays. I only needed to apply one coat to get the exact colour seen in the bottle-- it's completely opaque! For only $1.75 at Walmart, I am extremely impressed.I love this line of nail polish in general. I haven't been disappointed yet!! Wet n' Wild nail polishes are also all Toluene, phthalate, and formaldehyde free (which is somewhat comforting to know) AND they do NOT test on animals. All this for under 2 dollars. Friggin' amazing. I will (obviously) repurchase!

Horrible nail polish! I saw it and loved the color, but it chips like crazy! I put it on on the afternoon and by the night it already began to fall, doesn't last even a day!

Gorgeous red color that everyone absolutely needs to get! I have purchased so many reds looking for this perfect true red. It goes on beautifully, is opaque in one coat (i always do two coats), and has lasted me 4 days so far without chipping, even though I didn;t use a top coat!!
love, love, love and will definitely repurchase for myself, and pick some up for some friends of mine

NC25 here....I have a ridiculous amount of nail polish that I have been collecting for years (assorted brands mid range to cheap) and this is by far the best red I have come across. The price is outstanding for its quality. It is a rich vibrant candy apple red in just one coat! I think it is really dumb to spend loads of money on a similar red when this is ready and available everywhere for a measly .99!!! I use two coats for good measure then top it off with SV. Gorgeous red cream. Ive got it on my toes right now and I keep staring at them because they look great. :) I could not be happier with a red polish. Even its cheeseball cheapie bottle & thin style brush (BTW the brush in this is better than their $1.99 polishes for some reason) doesnt phase me from wanting to stock up on this perfect red of all reds. *LOVES*

I've been looking for the perfect cherry red for ages, and when I happened upon this one, I struck gold! The colour is perfect, the brush makes it go on evenly, and you're set in one coat. It doesn't easily chip, either, so it's nice and long lasting. The only downside that I've found is that after I take it off, my nails are lightly stained red for a few days.

Not sure if I lucked out but this polish is ridiculously amazing. The brush applied the right amount and evenly. It's opaque in one coat, and the color is bold. I usually don't like red polish but this is a hit.

I'm split on this. I'm a nail polish snob, but I rarely wear reds so I didn't want to spend much money on one. Therefore, I bought this one. It is a gorgeous shade of red - daring, bold, classic. It's opaque in one coat, but I put two just for good measure. It doesn't last too long - chipped on me pretty quick, but for the price, I didn't expect it to last forever. I prefer the fast dry Wet N Wild polishes. I ended up topping this off with China Glaze's White Cap which looks AWESOME, and will extend the wear. So overall, it's a pretty decent cheap red nail polish.

PRETTY! This is one of the most perfect shades of red that I have ever seen. It's like a nice cherry red color. It looks so pretty and perfect on my nails. It's not loud, or more pink than red, it's just perfect. Despite the cheap price, it actually works really well. It's not streaky at all, it has a nice thickness to it. I really didn't have to do two coats but I went ahead and did two anyway and it made it even more of a lovely red. I think I will stick to W&W for my signature red polish.

What a amazing red nail polish – seriously! And for $1 (or under)!
If you are looking for a very very basic eye-catching red nail polish and you’re strapped for cash or you don’t’ want to splurge on a red, as you find yourself too shy to wear them - THIS is the red you must seek out.
This is the quintessential glossy crème red nail polish. I think it would look flattering on all skin tones as it’s neither too cool nor too warm – just a beautifully bright red. It’s bold, without being garish or neon, thus perfectly safe for even a more conservative work environment.
As for staying power – maybe I was being unusually hard on my hands, but this lasted no more than two days as manicure. I used my usual base coat and top coat, but okay, to be fair, most of my manicures don’t extend past three days anyway since I change them so often.
It’s lasted a week as a pedicure.
Nonetheless, love this polish, especially for the value.

I absolutely LOVE this nail polish. I've been wanting a really red nail polish for quite some time now, and this is definitely it. After reading about what red works for what skin undertones, this would definitely work for all of them. It goes on very nicely, not streaky like some of the other Wild Shine shades, and you only need one coat. Not sure about staying power, as I just put it on, but will most likely edit this. But I can say that even with a clear polish underneath, it stains pretty badly. But for a $1 product, It's amazing!

I love the color, but it chipped very easily and clumped up in the bottle. I guess you get what you pay for. It was only about 2 dollars, so it wasn't too bad for the money.

I love this polish, like others have said it's a *TRUE* red. It can get a little gloopy and tough to apply, but if you take your time you'll have lovely payoff. I get great wear with this on my toes, lasts near forever. For a buck, it's a wonderful polish! Would totally repurchase.
EDIT: If you wear this polish be ready for it to majorly stain your nails, because it does. I don't think I've ever had my nails be stained this bad before. I still like the polish, though.

Its definitly a true red color, very pretty. I like to wear it on my toes, everyone always compliments on the color, and with a good top coat it lasts a good while. Good quality, cheap price.

This reminds me of Essie's Really Red. By that I mean this is a true red, with orange undertone not blue undertone. When I found this I was thrilled because most of the red polishes are just darkened pink to me, and this is a true red, and it is about 1/7 the price of Essie's Really Red. So price-wise, great deal. Slightly goopy/thick, hard to manage on nails, but when applied carefully this is gorgeous. Does not chip that much, I bang on the piano a lot and this chips about the same as my Essie's polishes. Great great deal, great colour. =)

These nail polishes are okay, I find that they chip on me quite a bit. I am also not a fan of this color the red is too flat, almost like fire engine red. The polish in the bottle also gets really thick and almost impossible to use after only two months.

This a a beautiful true red polish. It applied smoothly without streaking. The consistency was nice - not gloopy or thick. It is well pigmentated with two coats giving great coverage. With Revlon Colorstay top coat and SV TC over that I got over a week of wear with only one small chip until day 8. I only gave it a 4 though because even with my ususal Stickey base coat it stained my nails. This comes in the standard nail polish bottle with applicator brush so there is nothing remarkable about the packaging. I paid .50 for the bottle because WnW was on sale BOGO when I purchased. The regular price is .99 a bottle. Despite the inexpensive price I find this to be a good quality nail polish. I would buy this again should I ever run out. I will also definitely be buying and trying more of the Wild Shines.
