Maybelline Volume Seduction XL Plumping Lip Gloss #100 (clear). Have tried 2 times, taking a before and after pic each time.
First try, put on gloss, felt nothing, so put a bit more on. 20 minutes later, took the 2nd pic. Color: no change, Sensation: at about 15 minutes my lips felt a bit numb, Size: No bee stung look, but my lips were larger, and my boyfriend agreed that the after picture showed a change in size, high shine, and a reduction of wrinkles from the super- dry lips I started with.
Second try, put on gloss, 2 coats, felt tingling right away so I looked in the mirror, at 2 minutes, no change. Again, at 20 minutes, my lips were larger and smoother. No odd coloring from any of the ingredients.
Gloss is not gloppy, is nice and smooth. I have not tried it with any lip colors yet. For the price, I say give it a try! Even if it does not plump for you, it is very moisturizing and could easily be used over a lip color for extra shine, or overnight to wake up with smooth, moisturized lips.
Labeling is AWFUL! Once you start taking off the plastic, it is perforated all the way to the bottom. The writing on the bottom of the tube is too tiny to read with 20/20 vision, so I cut the label and taped the name to the side. HOWEVER, I do love the applicator (which is described in other reviews). I subtracted 1 lippie on packaging quality due to the labeling issue, the applicator and lid are great!

Maybelline Volume XL Seduction Lip Gloss in #705 is a plumping gloss,#705 is a pink nude shimmer semi sheer lip gloss. The smell is
of cinnamon and the texture is good. It does not live up to the claim and I don't care for the stinging effect.
What is awesome about the packaging you turn the dial on the bottom to get the product, and if you dial too much it will click back down and the product "retracts."

I have the xl version and the regular version in 105. I really like these glosses. I have rather large lips but they have so many creases. I cant wear lipstick because it just looks crusty on my very creased lips. Chap stick will not help. Im african american and 23. So the problem is not old age or having thin lips.
This stuff is amazing. It doesn't actually make my lips look bigger (thank god), but it just makes them look plump and smooth. Plus it leaves my lip feeling very moisturized. It not sticky nor is it too shiny. The colors seem to be milky peach. This gloss just makes my lips look perfect and I haven't found any other product that works this well.
I've had these glosses for a long time. Probably about 2 years. I know I should get knew ones but I dont see them on the website anymore. they are probably discontinued like the moisture extreme lipsticks that I liked also. If anyone knows of a product that is a dupe for this please let me know.

I don't understand why this product has such a high rating. First of all, there was no plumping action WHAT SO EVER , which I can stand because I did not really expect my lips to look fuller from a Maybelline product . The gloss did not last all day , it ran down my face even when I used lip liner along with it.The only thing I liked about the gloss is the colour, the colour was very natural and flattering on my face . I wish finding a great plumping gloss could be much easier..

I really love this lip gloss. It did work on my top lip and maybe a little on my bottom. I got it for the coloring and because my top lip has gotten a little thinner since I've gotten older. My lips look like they did when I was 17 again. It does tingle/burn when you put it on. It only last a few seconds though. It irritates your lips to make them plump up, so it is suppose to do that. It was $7.48 at my local walmart.

I love this gloss! It plumps my lips and the colors are gorgeous. The only bad thing is that it can be kind of sticky.

I have this in '505', I'm not sure of the name as it doesn't have one, but it is a strawberry red colour. This gloss is quite sheer when applied to my lips, but I think that's because of my lips are quite pigmented, but that's a plus for me as it makes it suitable for work. I also find it great for layering over reddish lipsticks too. I don't notice too much about plumping up my lips, but I did notice how it gives your lips that tingling feeling. Packaging is like the shine seduction glosses so the pen click applicator is great for releasing just the right amount. Gloss is not sticky, and smells like citrus.
EDIT - It burned my lips, and felt very uncomfortable. Too much of a tingling sensation. Will not buy again.

I have used up several tubes of this in various colors and it's a GREAT lip gloss! It definitely plumps the lips and is thick and lasts a long time. I like stickier/heavier glosses and this one fits that description for me. Price is a little high though.

I bought this in Peachy Flush. The formula is thick, not sticky and the color payoff is good. It does smell like lemon Lysol though. I like the applicator but the cap is a little funny. The plumper or irritant in the product didn't work so well for me, but I think I have built up a tolerance for some plumping agents so it might work for others.

This is the only lipgloss I've used so far that actually provided a noticeable plumping effect. Even my hubby saw a difference immediately after i put it on.
I don't care for the taste and the texture is a bit thick, but it's a really great plumping gloss overall.

Maybelline Volume XL Seduction Lip Plumper. I bought 205 Plum Plump and 115 Fully Blushed
I use the Lip Plumper over lip stain like Revlon Just bitten in Crave or Maybelline’s Color Sensation Bitten Berry. I try to stick to a dark pink lip stain as a base. My color will last on my lips most of the day if I don’t eat much. I sometimes will use Avon’s Gloss Gorgeous Stay on Lip Stain Lolli or Bella (sheer glossy lip stain) over my base lip stain and then add Maybelline’s Volume XL Seduction Lip Plumper.
Lip Plumper #205 Plum Plump seems to go nicely over almost any of my other lipsticks too and it does not change the lipstick color too much either. I stick to pink/mauve/red & corals on the pink side.
The best feature of the Lip Plumper is it adds a nice light sparkle but not too showy or garish especially if you are older you don’t want to look like an aged tree ornament.
I am quite fond of the color #205 Plum Plump and I think it is a very nice color for me. If you look at the color under high magnification it has the tiniest bit of rainbow colored sparkles in a base of medium pinkish mauve goopy pool of sparkles. The Fully Blushed is a Dark Bubble Gum Pink color. It is a nice color but much brighter and it is not as versatile for me so I don’t use it as much as Plum Plump color.
Maybelline’s Volume XL Seduction Lip Plumper gives off a neat tingle –I kind of like it. It is supposed to plump up your lips which concerned me when I bought it as I have full lips. Bigger is not always better! I am not so sure if it does anything at all which is way A-OK for me! I bought it because of the color and I wanted to add a tiniest bit of sparkle/gloss to other matte lipsticks I own. This is the first gloss type product besides Avon’s Gloss Gorgeous that I have ever liked. I dislike any sticky goopy type feeling on my lips which is most lip glosses and I do not want to look too shiny either. There is nothing worse if you have full lips then have lips that make people stare at you memorized and . . .No Not in a good way either - more like that car wreck everyone gawks at. Or better yet be told you have really super shiny fish lips! Not Cool!
The Lip Plumper container is a slim nice glossy pearly black case with a concave cap that is easy to distinguish among my other lip products in my make up bag (Helps if you are always groping in your purse in the dark). It has a 45 degree angled clear applicator tip with 5 small holes. You hold the lip plumper’s upper ring and twist the long bottom tube counter clockwise and it will dispense your color nicely. It does not spill out too fast – just right after each click so you can have reasonable control.
Maybelline states that * This product may cause a temporary tingling sensation which is normal. Discontinue use if you experience excessive discomfort. Do not use on chapped, damaged or sensitive lips. For Best Results Apply Volume XLS Seduction alone or over your favorite lip color. The most voluptuous lips ever! Plump up your lips… up to 30% more. Feel a tingling effect as active amplifiers instantly plump lips for a visibly fuller pout In 10 seductive plumping shades

I'm not really a lip gloss girl. I usually just stick to lip balm and lipstick when I feel fancy but my mom gave me this randomly one day in 605, a pinky nude color. I already have a full pout but decided what the heck so I tried it. It definately plumps, not in a trout pout way but in a subtle way filling out the lines. It apples so nicely, its rich and smooth and not sticky at all. The color is very sheer, and it just inhances my natural lip color. I wouldn't buy it again because I am not a lip gloss girl but I have been wearing it every so often to work and get compliments. It does have this odd tingling sensation when you put in on but its barable and passes within the minute.

I needed to find something to add to my Falsies wp mascara purchase during a BOGO recently so I chose this in Pouty Passion, otherwise I never would have glanced at these, and that would have been a mistake. Love it! The shade is a gorgeous nude pink (a great MLBB since I have quite pigmented lips) with micro-shimmer that does seem to plump a little, which you can feel. Not painfully so like some lip plumpers, but enough to know it's working. It's very flattering on and I've reached for it constantly since the minute I got the wrapper off, LOL. My favorite thing is that it's not sticky, goopy or overly in-your-face shiny like a traditional lip gloss. It's more like a lightweight liquid lipstick. Lasting power is quite good, better than most glosses, scent and taste aren't noticeable after you first apply. The tube is awesome; sleek, with no brush or sponge applicator to deal with, just click and smooth on. Brilliant. They didn't have a lot of shade choices where I was (Rite Aid) because it was pretty picked over (no doubt due to the BOGO) so I didn't see all of them but I'll definitely keep an eye out during sales from now to try another shade or two.

I love these a lot! To prove my point, I'm going to confess that I bought SIX of the Maybelline Volume Seduction Plumping Glosses! I'm usually not the type to go out and get a whole bunch of the same thing, but I made a rare exception for these! You can feel the warm tingle on your lips instantly and it really does make your lips look a bit fuller. The effect is only temporary, but that's not a problem with me because I actually didn't buy these for the plumping factor. I got them because I love how all of the colors contain extremely fine shimmer particles that give my lips that pretty glossy look without feeling too wet or slippery. The texture is perfect -- it's thick enough to stay put on my lips without wandering, but not so thick that it is goopy and sticky. The applicator is also great. You have to twist the bottom of the stick to make the lipgloss come out of the other end, but the lack of an annoying brush or spongey pen applicator (think: Stila Lip Glazes and the discontinued Bonne Bell Clic-It lip glosses) makes it so much easier to get the product out and onto the lips. Since the gloss oozes out of the holes on top of the clear plastic tip, you can see exactly how much product you're getting. Like I said earlier, the texture is nice and thick, so it comes out rather slowly and you won't get a sudden explosion of gloss all over your hands when you twist. And unlike the spongey applicators, the plastic tip won't soak up any of gloss when you swipe it across your lips to apply. Finally, I want to say that I love the smooth and shiny packaging because it looks so high-end and unique, especially when you have a collection of them put together. I only dislike how the name of the product and shade name (not just the number) of the lip gloss isn't labeled anywhere, but I guess it would detract from the overall sleek look of the tube. I hate referring to different shades by their numbers, so I had to go on the Maybelline website to look up the actual names.
Now I'm going to talk about the six that I have:
My favorite color is probably "110 Pouty Passion" because it's a beautiful nude-pink color that is perfect for everyday wear and makes my lips look "juicy"! I love it! I also have "115 Fully Blushed", which looks like a bright candy pink in the tube, but is actually a very wearable color because it can be sheered out. I like to build the color to a more intense shade when I feel like doing bright and fun makeup. Next, I have "605 Seductively Nude" and I don't find this particularly special. It's a nude color that still looks natural because it has pink undertones. "205 Plum Plump" is one that I'm planning to wear a lot during the wintertime because it's a nice plummy shade with cool purple shimmer. "510 Full-Bodied Wine" is a burnished deep red color. It seems to be thicker and way more pigmented than the rest that I own. It probably requires about half a twist to show up fully on the lips. I take this out only when I'm going for a daring and glamorous look. Make sure you smack your lips together a few times since the thicker consistency makes it harder to distribute the color evenly. My last one, "105 Xtremely Sheer", is different from the rest in that it comes in a pink tube instead of dark brown (that IS dark brown, right?) and it is not meant to deposit any color. But despite the name, this pale peachy shade does show up somewhat and I like putting it on top of lipstick to to tone down the color as well as to add shine. It actually looks great on its own with smokey eyes. You get that lovely "milky pale shine."
Quick Note: I noticed that the little clear "panel" that reveals the color of the lipgloss might not be entirely accurate. For 3 out of the 6 tubes that I have, the color preview looks a lot lighter than the rest of the product inside the tube! This might be because the warm store lighting tends to "fade" the part that's exposed by the clear panel. I remember when I was examining tubes of "Fully Blushed" at the store, I saw that almost all of the tubes' preview panel were different, faded to varying degrees. Now that I own "Fully Blushed", I can see that the true shade of the gloss is a lot darker. Just a warning for you guys!

I've bought this too many times to count in almost all the colors but I like the lightest one in XXL in the pink packaging. It works like a charm.
It does feel uncomfortable, but it's letting you know it's working. It hasn't caused my lips irritation to the point where I rash or something.
But my boyfriend gets annoyed with the feel and taste when we kiss, so I secretly put it on and wait around ten minutes for it to kick in, dab some of it off, then apply strawberry gloss over it and dab it a little more just to take some of the icky "stick" off. Perfect for kissing if you do that.
If only it tasted like strawberries and wasn't sticky, then it would be the PERFECT lip plumping gloss.
The packaging is different and apart from my other lip things I have, so its easy to find.

I purchased this gloss in 405 - Peachy Flush. The color is exactly what I wanted. It's a sheer peachy pink with a medium-light amount of pigmentation. It is very flattering and people often ask me which gloss it is that I am wearing.
I like this formula too. It's a little sticky and gives a great shine. It does provide some tingle, like the other plumping glosses available, but in general it isn't as extreme as others that I have tried. The level of plumping is pretty minimal as well, but it is there.
I bought this gloss for the color rather than the plumping effect, so I am very happy with it.

This lip gloss is the best lip gloss i have ever had so far. I really dont have that many lipglosses and i have more lipsticks, but this is an amazing lipgloss. the light pink color makes my lips look so seductive. I have it in 115 Fully Blushed and 105 Born with it. i do not like the 115 too much because it is way too pink for me, but I love the 105 because it is like a nude pink and it looks really good with or without lipstick.

Very shiny! Mirror shiny! It gives the illusion of bigger lips because of its textures! It does not actually make the lips bigger!! It lasts for only 30 minutes! What left of it after 30 minutes, is wearable, is O.K. nothing messy, unlike most other lip glosses! The colors are beautiful! Overall I'm very impressed! It does justice to our God given lips!

I didn't expect to like this as much as I do. I bought it at Target for a couple dollars. I got the color 120 which is a light pinky nude.
I like the consistency of this. It's not chunky nor is it gritty. I like the winding twist applicator with the plastic tip. It can get a bit messy so, I recommend wiping the tip off after each use.
Overall I like this gloss. Its nice alone or over a lipstick.
