I love this TM. It has really great coverage as other reviewers have stated, it's more like a medium coverage foundation than a TM. That also justifies the price, which is very high, but again the coverage is a lot heavier than most TMs. Definitely a HG product for me. I have oily skin but it just makes me glowy, not oily. By mid day my skin looks flawless when paired with a little concealer for darker acne spots. Would definitely repurchase and recommend to all skin types (as it's very moisturizing as well)

Ugh. What a disappointment. I have dry, sensitive skin and despite thoroughly moisturizing before applying, my skin felt dried out and taught 15 minutes after putting this on. Color looked yellowish on me too. An epic fail.

medium coverage with dewy finish with lightweight feel. I was trying to find a substitute for Fresh highnoon glow and I've trie many and this comes the closest one to it. it evens out my color and texture but hydrates and my skin is radiant. I've tried it all(bb creams) and tinted moisturizer and this is the best!

I switched from MAC full coverage studio fix foundation about 4 months ago to this medium to full coverage tinted moisturizer and I am SO glad that I did. This stuff is amazing. It's expensive, but the overall look and feel of your skin is enough to make you want it forever- not to mention all of the benefits! I never need moisturizer in the morning, obviously, because this stuff gives me enough moisture for the entire day! I love this stuff and it even clears up some of my minimal acne. Love this stuff!

Firstly, I should explain that the reason I gave this product 3 lippies instead of 5 is because the name is misleading. This is more of a buildable foundation as opposed to a "tinted moisturizer". While this is definitely moisturizing, the coverage is heavy, so if you're looking for something that is sheer to see-through, this product isn't for you. That being said, I really like this "tinted moisturizer"! I have extremely dry and sensitive skin, so the excess creaminess of the product works well for me and the added benefit of Argan Oil is soothing. If you have oily skin I wouldn't suggest this as it will likely excentuate that. This product comes in a range of colors all of which are on the yellow side, however, my skin tone is fair/rosy and I wear shade Light 1 which I haven't had an issue with.
The packaging is nothing fancy, but I do appreciate that it's a squeeze tube as this allows for controlling the amount of product you want to use and it avoids waste at the finish line. Price point is on the higher end at $40+ Canadian, so if you're looking to save dollars, you probably shouldn't purchase this...although it is less expensive than some other well-known brands, so in terms of a higher end product, I would say this falls somewhere in the middle for price.
This "tinted moisturizer" leaves a dewy natural finish sans shimmer, which is nice for the summer because it provides that fresh non-makeup makeup look. Overall, a lovely product that I will most likely purchase again.

This review is on the Summer 2013 all natural Josie Maran Argan Tinted Moisturizer SPF 30 purchased at Sephora. I obtained this in the shade Light 2 (butter with warm undertone). I am normally light to medium (more medium in summer) with yellow undertones. This shade seemed a little light going on, but it looked very natural after about 5 minutes. The next darker shade was too dark. This product was reformulated with natural, physical sunscreen. Sunscreen: zinc oxide and titanium dioxide. The consistency was comparable to Banana Boat white, creamy sunscreen. It smelled like fruity grapes and sunscreen. I rather liked the smell. You only need perhaps 2 pea-sized amounts when spreading this all over your face. I found that using my fingers gave me a better finish.
I have combination & sometimes oily skin. I didn't get any oilier than I usually do. Coverage was not buildable because it started to get blotchy with more than one coat. The product dried to a natural finish and covered all redness. I didn't need more than one coat. (Surprising, since I like medium to full coverage.) It provided medium coverage. I set it with powder. It gave me about 3 hours before my oil broke through.
This lasted all day until the time I took it off (6-10 hours). I used an oil-based cleanser. Then cleansed with my normal face cleanser. However, product was returned because I suspect this gave me huge red bumps (the really painful deep ones) on my face. I really wanted to like this because the color match was so good. After starting & stopping and fixing my face every couple of days, I gave up. Maybe it was just my sensitive skin; hopefully, it works out for you.

It seems like a lot of the review I've read for this product have to do with the fact that it offers a light coverage, or that it can be a bit streaky. Guys, wakeup, it's a TINTED MOISTURIZER. If you want an actual foundation, go buy one. I have severely dry skin and have used this product almost every day for about three years now. Yes, I do wish it had more coverage, but as far as tinted moisturizers go, this one is the best for dry, or even sensitive skin. The shades in which it comes in are very versatile, so that's nice. It does smell a bit like sunscreen when you first put it on. With a primer it will last 6-8 hours, depending on things like heat/sweat.

I agree with the previous reviewer that this should be called a BB cream. It is much thicker than any other TM I've ever used. With my oily/combo skin, this thick somewhat initially tacky texture was concerning. However once applied to the face and allowed a minute to dry, it makes skin look flawless! It's really amazing. I feel like my skin is glowing from within when I wear it. It lasts all day for me and I don't even have to blot! The only cons are the rather high price and that the Light 1 is a TAD too orange, but with a little bronzer applied to my neck the color looks perfect. Would def recommend anyone on the fence give it a try. I love it.

This review is for the RE-FORMULATED Argan Tinted Moisturizer (2013).
This is wonderful. It is a great 3-in-1 combination of a sunscreen (SPF 30), a moisturizer (Argan oil), and a foundation (medium coverage - seriously, it covers like a foundation). They should call this a BB cream instead since it is much creamier and luxurious than most TMs on the market. It has very thick consistency, which I prefer for my dry skin, and it glides on like butter. If you're looking for something lightweight, this is not for you. Josie recommends applying with fingers, which I do, and I take a buffer brush around the edges of my face to blend in. It covers my redness completely and it doesn't look or feel like I'm wearing anything. The finish is the best part. It leaves a natural dewy glow that looks like perfect second skin. I swear it's the Argan oil... If you love that glow that Argan oil leaves on your skin in the morning - try this! This is definitely not suited for oily skin though, as it will look greasy within the hour and the Argan oil might make it feel heavy on the skin. But normal to dry to skin should give this a try. I don't think this is that expensive. You get 50mL /1.7 oz which is a lot more than most.
I am NW30 in the winter and NW35-37 in the summer. I have neutral undertones and these shades were not too yellow or too pink. Medium 1 would be my winter shade and Med 1 + Medium 2 would be my ideal summer shade but I can wear Med 2 on it's own.
The big downside is the lasting power. It rubs off VERY EASILY. Every time I touch my face (it's inevitable, right?), it rubs off on my hands and then it will transfer onto clothing, white paper, etc. No lasting power whatsoever, with or without powder. I even tried it with Urban Decay All-Nighter and it still came off pretty easily.

I thought this was going to be an excellent idea for my dry/acne prone skin. WRONG.
My skin broke out in HUGE ANGRY zits looking for revenge so I will not buy this ever.
The consistency is very thick and heavy, feels like a mask.
This was my first TM ever, and probably my last. I will try to mix my own with products I already know my skin likes.
