My everyday eyeliner. This stays put on my oily skin - so while every other bit of makeup on my face is sliding to the floor, I can count on this to stay! As with the other Fluidlines this is buildable in terms of color intensity. I use mine daily with a bronze shadow overtop and absolutely love the way it looks!

Nice basic black. Matte. Stays all day, even on oily asian lids.

I can not believe how unbelievable this liner is! I am sooooooo excited! For years I have used pencils and then powder and flat brushes from Trish, but this takes the cake the line it creates is gorgeous, smudge-free and dramatic! This is a keeper forever!!! I am a bonafide MAC fan again!!

By far the best liner I've ever used. In the past I've used liquid and pencil liners and NOTHING has ever remained unsmudged on my lids. My lids are pretty oily and they're hooded as well (the lid overlaps lashes slightly on inner half of the eye) In the past I would have to line only the outer half of my upper lid or I would end up with raccoon eyes. But FL was absolutely perfect! Once applied, it did not come off AT ALL. I once showered without removing it, washed my face while I was at it, and when I came out of the shower IT WAS STILL THERE. Perfectly untouched, just as I had applied it! Don't be scared off by its durability, it is so easy to remove.

At $16CA, FL IS kind of expensive for such a small pot... but once you start using it, you realize how little you use each time. It's totally worth the investment. Having to use a brush to apply it is kind of annoying at first, but for the staying power of this product, it's well worth the trouble!

It took me awhile to get used to this, at first I found it too hard to handle and didn't think the extra time it took to apply it was worth it. Now that I've had a bit of practice, I absolutely love this. The color is as dramatic or as soft as you want, and the color stays remarkably long, as long as anything else I've ever used. It's not cheap but it does last quite awhile so I feel that it's worth it. Overall a great buy, would definitely buy again.

Amazing! After struggling with eye pencils and liquid eyeliner (both smudge and are never dark enough) I've found my HG eyeliner! I apply it with the Bloom angled eyeliner brush (about $17 cheaper than the MAC equivalent) and off I go! It doesn't smudge, lasts for ages and best of all I can achieve you many different looks. With fluidline you can get a smoky look or a polished straight line and it always looks professional! Amazing stuff! Will never go back!

Blacktrack is a deep, dark, inky, dramatic black that is indestructible. These liners do not budge. I live in Hawaii, and couple with my oily lids and the heat here, eyeliners are challenging. Mac's is the only gel liner that doesn't crease on me. It is easy to apply if you have a good brush, and just as easy to smudge for a smoky eye look. Affordable at a mere $13.50, these are one of the best products to grace Mac counters in awhile. I highly recommend these.

To keep it brief; I like the way this gel liner applies so smoothly & easily. On occassion it requires the line requires going over twice to get a darker line. On my greasy lids, this liner lasted 6 hours before traces of transfer began showing up.
A definitely repurchase, and possibly in their other colours as well.
Will repurchase, but only in their other colours. Will try Bobbi Brown next for a black gel liner.

I love the consistency and staying power. The color is rich and deep and doesn't feel cakey at all! I have a BIG problem with liquid liners and mascaras irritating my eyes, this doesn't irritate at all, even if it accidentally gets right in my eye. I love this product and is a HG product for me!

It took me a while to even try a MAC fluidline and I can't believe I waited so long. I have been wearing black eyeliner for a long time and had been using cake eyeliner and pencils. But cake eyeliners are inconvenient because I would have to dip my eyeliner brush in water and then make a mixture and then apply the liner to my eyes. The pencil eyeliners are ok but for some reason, my eyelids have gotten dryer and I have been having problems with tugging.

So after reading all the raves, I decided to try it and I am thrilled that I found something that is quick to apply, goes on smoothly without any tugging, and lasts all day, and is reasonably priced. I do have a problem with some of the color transferring from my upper eyelid to my under-eye area but I can't seem to avoid this even though I have used water proof eyeliners so I think that is because of how my eyelids are shaped. However, it's still manageable.

I am definitely going to try the other colors and will repurchase when I run out.

I totally love this eyeliner. i started out wit revlon which in matter of fact did the job but sometimes left the black circles under my eyes to bobby browns which still did the same thing.. now from the reviews i figured id try this mac one and i absolutely love it.. a couple of nites ago i had a really bad nite and the only thing that made me happy was looking in the mirror and laughing that the eyeliner stayed perfectly after i cried like crazi lol..my friend just laughed at me but i kno this is my definately hg eyeliner and i definately will repurchase cause so far i havent found a thing wrong wit it.. the only thing is i havent used the brush you use it with ive beeen using bobby browns eyeliner brush which i have to say works amazing wit it causing it easy to apply since the mac brush looked a little bit difficult.. i will definately repurchase :-)

It doesn't smeer & waterproof. I wore it to grand nite and the whole thing stayed the same as if i just put it on recently. When I went on splash mountain the water went to my face. i eyeliner stayed on!! it did not smeer or anything. it makes your makeup look freash the whole day. eventhough it is $13.50 you get alot from it it last for along time. I'm coutiouse when it comes to money and it think that this eyeliner in a good deal no matter what.

When the Fluidlines were first released in early 2005, I skipped Blacktrack and went for colors like Macroviolet and Dipdown, thinking that black is simply too dramatic. I also thought that it would end up like the Smoulder eye kohl which I swapped away. Then slowly I realised that black is an essential and furthermore fluidlines are so idiot-proof and smudge-proof (I've super "smudgable" lids and undereye). But when I decided to buy it, it went out of stock for months! During that period, I would go down to the MAC counter to check the availability and to beg the MA to use the Blacktrack tester on me, and I liked it more and more. So now that I finally got my hands on my own tub, I know it isn't an impulse buy. For a natural everyday look, I use the Shu Uemura 2R brush for an ultra thin line which is just enough to add definition to my eyes, and as some would say, to make them pop. And everyone would also know that Blacktrack goes with any eye make-up looks there can ever be. This bestseller is a definite must-have!

This is the fourth fluidline I've bought and I am getting addicted. That said, this is likely the best of the lot. Simple but effective. I also picked up the 209 brush to apply with (my 266 wasn't allowing me to get a thin enough line). Gorgeous, clean black line that does not move. Don't know why I waited so long to get blacktrack. It's now my everyday go to liner along with dipdown. My eyes really pop with it on.

I think they could package this differently to prevent it from drying out, but I think they are working on that... BUT that said, I love this particular liner and will continue to use and purchase it. Lasts a long time, STAYS in place- does NOT budge, and if you use the right brush with it, it is easy to work with. I use it on my waterline and it does not get all over my eye. I have to use makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day. A+ in my book!

This is another product I bought solely on the reviews here. This is definitely my HG black eyeliner. It is so easy to apply and the staying power is amazing, it lasts all day! I am so glad I found this, I will never be without it. I just wish I knew about this sooner. I will repurchase forever.
