I was not impressed with this mascara at all. Way too wet and clumpy and I did not like the bend of the brush. Maybe I got a bad bottle?

I agree with a lot of people on here that my overall issue with the Falsies mascara is the clumping. Yes, this stuff does give you plenty of volume but my eyelashes just looked really overdone and gunky. Maybe if you combed them plenty after application this would sort itself out, but personally I don't have the patience for this! I much prefer the Maybelline Colossal instead.

Seeing as this mascara costs pretty much nothing it's well worth the money. Makes lashes thick and long but can be a little clumpy and is very hard to remove.

I LOVE this mascara! Got it on sale at CVS, I bought it in very black and it definitely makes my eyes pop. I love how it spreads out my lashes and gives them tons of volume. It doesnít smudge and it stays put throughout the day, even through these super hot summer days in Cali. I do hate the fact that it is incredibly difficult to remove, my make up remover doesn't get it off and it leaves me with racoon eyes.

I got this as a gift, and while the overall result is great, I don't like the application (clumping galore!), and It's hard to remove - even after several rounds of wet-wipes and makeup removers, it's still there.

This mascara was very pretty on my eyes it created lots of voulme, some curl/length, and made my lashes fuller/thicker. It was worth buying. I have tried lots of mascaras since I first bought this, but this one is in my top 5 for sure. It is not expensive and it is cute packaging. It really does create beautiful lashes and gives the illusion of false lashes. I recommend this mascara and really do love it :)

UPDATE: I use this mascara everyday now.. I still enjoy it! Its great and works wonders for my pale, blond lashes! all u need after a couple coats is a eyelash curler which is usually expected. It gives a lot out of it and lasts all day. Such a good poduct! RECOMMEND.

Well today I am going to be doing a review on this Maybelline Mascara (I saw there commercials and decided to pick it up) Now I have the original version not the new flared because I purchased this about 6 months ago .I am pretty familiar with there products I have some of there eye shadow duos and such things and I will be sure to review those!!!

Now I have naturally long lashes and they naturally curl also so I donít need to curl them with a curler or anything like that I just go ahead and swipe it on. Now I actually use two Mascaras for my everyday makeup. Now the Almay mascara has the long defined looked but it does lack the thickness that I look for at the bottom of my lashes top lashes. I have the Maybelline in Very Black because it makes my eyes pop. P.S I always try to buy all eye makeup in black but I use brown every now and then. Now I like the kind of dramatic long look. But I am pretty happy that they have improved there mascara with the flared wings which was one of my problems with the mascara but I will be sure to pick it up once I run out which should be soon. Also I would not apply a lot of this to your bottom lashes because it looks just funky and that is when I use my Almay mascara. But I honestly think it is all in the brush like the way it is shaped and everything.

Buy It Again: YES!

Recommend: YES! (You would need this mascara if you kind of thin lashes and it will work for anybody and it is my new FAV)

Bottom Line: Great Mascara. Be sure to buy it waterproof because it will not come off not many smudges and a great buy be sure to also buy it in the Very Black for the dramatic look.

I am usually loyal to Max Factor mascaras as they are reasonably priced and make my eyelashes look great. I bought the Maybelline falsies mascara on the off chance as I needed a new one and the only place I could get to at the time was Asda (who don't stock Max Factor). I was pleasantly surprised with Falsies as I wasn't expecting it to be better than my usual mascaras but it WAS! It instantly lifts eyelashes right up and spreads them out into a lovely fan. It doesn't clump and it has lasted me ages (I've had this for 2-3 months now and it's still not dried up even with daily use).

It does make my eyelashes look longer and gives them more volume and I love it. It's just slightly difficult to apply because, like everyone says, it does clump a lot and the end of the wand has a lot of mascara on it so you really have to work with it, but it's nothing you can't fix.

Pros:
-does what it says, volumizes
-does give the impression of "false" lashies
-make eyelashes very dark and visible
-definitely waterproof, doesn't give racoon eyes
Cons:
-clumps like CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZY
-looks like you attached spider legs on your eyelashes
-Everytime I take the mascara out of the tube, there's always too much product at the end of the brush, making it hard to reach out to the edges of my lashes.

Overall, I think it's okay. I recommend to buy this product if your lashes are naturally long.
My lashes, however, are stubby and barely visible. (I'm asian, I basically have the stereotypical "asian" lashes)
It's okay, I like applying it on my lower lashes because it does darken, volumize, and lengthen them, but if I put even the smallest amount too much, it looks really clumpy and ugly.
Personally, I think in all the review pictures of this mascara, the lashes look extremely clumpy.

There are other products out there, I don't recommend this because it was pretty expensive.
