Love the scent. I have tins of this all over the house- in my purse, on my nightstand, etc. Great for cuticles, lips, and dry patches of skin. Will repurchase.

This is also for cuts, bruises and dry patches. I apply on my eyelids at night time and my eye makeup goes on much easier the next day

I purchased this in a tube from Sephora (which is better than putting your dirty fingers in a pot), and saw that the first ingredient listed is "Petrolatum". Dr. Oz claims that petroleum-based products are a bi-product of oil and can be compared with drinking gasoline. They can potentially cause cancer. I am now purchasing wax-based lip products only.

I bought this product because I've seen in it in several places, including Sephora and other beauty product stores. I mistakenly thought that since lots of places carry the item, it must be good. It really isn't that great.
I agree with other reviewers that it smells like a baby product and is pretty much just a petroleum jelly like Vaseline. I would rather use and recommend Aquaphor, which now comes in a small tube that you can fit in your pocket.

The smell is so strong it is disgusting! It smells like putting baby oil on your lips. Won't purchase ever again.

I hate this. I don't think this is glorified vaseline. Vaseline has its uses, but for me, this salve serves no purpose at all. It is thinner than vaseline, it doesn't really provide a barrier over another lip balm or on my skin. I don't like the smell. It doesn't make my lips soft, it doesn't soften dry patches on my skin (which vaseline does), the tin is unhygienic as you have to put your fingers in it all the time and if you leave it in your bag, stuff starts to stick to it. I also find it very expensive, since there are no special ingredients in it and it doesn't do anything for me at all.

Moisturizes my lips well and adds a nice glossy look. I think the tin is cute and vintagey looking. It is basiclly glorified Vaseline but I like the rose scent. I will repurchase if I can't find anything better but am making an effort to move away from petroleum based lip balms.

I think this is the only product I have ever tried that after finding it I have never cheated on it or strayed in any form or fashion. I have at least 3 tins of it at any given moment. By my bed, in the bathroom, possibly in my purse. I am obsessed with this. I like the plain version and the strawberry the best. My husband usually puts these in my stocking for Christmas to ensure that I have it on hand at all times. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Smooth, silky, pretty but also really keeps my lips soft and supple. I never have chapped lips, it will be freezing outside, I will have a nasty cold, whatever and everyone else will have chapped bleeding lips and mine are soft and moist. HG product.

The best way to use this is right before you go to bed. Don't drink or eat anything after you apply it. I have braces and my lips are constantly raw. I wake up and my lips are no longer dry and chapped they are soft and supple. Like a conditioning mask for your lips. I try to wear it during the day and its okay but the best method is an overnight lip treatment. Works wonders :)

It is similar to tinted Vaseline, but I like it. I buy the tube version and use it as a gloss on top of lipstick or by itself. will repurchase.

I've only had this about a week, but I really like it so far. My lips have been super dry/chapped lately with the air getting cooler and dryer and I was desperate to find something that would help. After reading some reviews and talking to the associate at Sephora I decided to give this a shot. Even after just a day of use there was a noticeable differance in my lips! They are so much smoother and softer, enough that I can start wearing lipstick again (when they were so dry lipstick was not a pretty sight, even with excessive chapstick use).

Like this product but do not love it. The smell is so, so. I do like the strawberry scent better.

This is pretty much tinted Vaseline in a tin. However, I like this product nonetheless. The texture in my opinion is alot more creamier and smooth compared to the thicker "waxy-like" texture of Vaseline. I like this product in Winter when my lips are at their driest and it heals them up quickly. Although it is tinted in the pan, it pretty much applies like a clear gloss giving a subtle shine. It's not too greasy unless you apply a heavy layer in my opinion and also makes for a good cuticle balm. The scent doesn't bother me, it smells like rose water.

Everyone says this is just tinted Vaseline, but I have Vaseline, and I still go for my Rosebud 9 out of 10 times. I literally have it on my counter in my bathroom, and put it on everytime I go in there, regardless of whether I need to or not. Love it, I very rarely repurchase items, because there are so many products out there that I want to try, and I have repurchased my Rosebud several times. Just recently the balm in the tube form, which feels like a slighly different formula, but just looks so pink and pretty on.

This is more or less tinted vasoline in a tin. TRY TO TELL ME ITS NOT. Sorry for yelling, I'm just saying. I bought it for the cute tin, I got a gimmicky seasonal one which is like orange and green and summery. It somehow managed to seal itself shut and it took immense effort to pry it open... I think I just got a defective tin or something. Anyway, tinted vaseline, not really a beauty requirement for me.

Love love this stuff. When people say that it's like Vaseline I have to disagree because of it's consistency. Vaseline is more thin and I realize I have to apply more often and as for rosebud, I don't need to apply as much. I'm a fan of tin lip balm because they hold more balm and there's a cute thing about the tin. And unlike Vaseline, this can last me the whole night in an air conditioned room. Yay! Price is slightly more expensive here, but worth it.

I bought this based on all the good things I've heard about this over the years from friends, the internet, and magazines. I was never really much of a lip product person so I just ignored it, but I decided to try this. I hated this product at first. When I first used this product I wondered why I bought a tin of pink vaseline. I wanted to use this up so I decided to wear it to bed one night, and when I woke up, HELLO! I was shocked. My lips never looked that good in my life. I never even knew my lips could look good. I've been wearing this ever since, but only at night. It's kind of annoying during the daytime because it just sits on my lips, but I absolutely love this stuff as a nighttime lip balm. This has totally changed the way I feel about my lips. I now feel confident enough to wear shiny gloss, which I always refused to wear since I didn't like my lips. I can see myself repurchasing this, but it will take me awhile to work through the whole tin since there is alot of product! Great stuff.

I call this the miracle salve! It is wonderful as a lip balm but it doubles as an awesome cuticle cream or hand moisturizer in the winter! I have also used it on minor cuts & burns (I cook a lot) and it heals them quickly! If you haven't tried it yet, you don't know what you're missing! It will be the best $7 bucks you ever spent. I wouldn't be without it.

This salve may be seem moisturizing, but soon I had to apply more frequently to increase and lengthen the moisturizing effect. Why? It contains lanolin which dries off your lips. Don't recommend.
