I am always looking for a great longwearing eyeliner and this new one from MAC fits the bill. The new fluidlines released Feb. 2005 are a permanent addition to the MAC line. A set of 12 colors in a small clear jar with black lid. These are very similiar to the BB gel but most shades have some shimmer. They are also slicker in texture and thinner. Rich Ground is a shimmering bronze medium brown shade. Its a little lighter than MAC teddy kohl and a little more coppery/red undertone in color. I wish it was just a little darker. But it goes on super smoothly and really did last 8+hours without smearing or smudging. Easy to apply too. Great product for $13.50. I am glad MAC came out with these and will definately pick up more colors.
*update*
I just noticed tht Rich Ground is identical to Sue Devitt Tanzania and slightly more copper than UD Lucky.

The most lovely shade of brown eyeliner! Rich Ground is, as has been noted, a beautiful rich shade of coppery brown. It is very similar to Coco Beach pigment. The color is gorgeous and stays true all day. This liner isn't budging.

Edit: I figured I'd come back and re-touch on this one. I still love the color and would recommend it to anyone it'd work on, but I think I have come to the conclusion that I am not one of those people. Every time I wear it, people ask me if I'm sick/sad/tired/crying. The red tones are just too much for me to wear around my eyes. Keep this in mind before purchasing, if you too have a similar problem.

Beautiful as a liner, base or shadow. Bronze/brown with golden sheen. Wears all day and is completely smudge proof. Creamier than Stila Smudgepots which gives you the versatility to wear as a shadow. Once applied it sets in about 30 seconds. Once set, it will last all day (I have not outlasted it yet).

Rich Ground is a bronzed copper brown. Reminds me of Teddy eye kohl or Coco Beach pigment (also MAC). This shade will be a staple in anyone's cosmetic arsenal. It's a beautiful, warm brown with shine, not flat at all (like Dipdown, another Fluidline). Like the other Fluidlines, it lasts for 12+ hours without budging! As a matter of fact, it's near impossible to remove. I use vaseline to take mine off without a struggle. Try these, you'll fall in love.

elegant, beautiful, so reasonably priced, lovely packaging, i am in love with the fluidlines. rich ground is a stunning bronzey colour. i used it as a creme eyeshadow today, putting it in the outer v of my lid with brassy in the inner half. i used the mac 242 brush to apply. it looked gorgeous, even though i do say so myself! and it has lasted perfectly through 9 hours (i used a base underneath the fluidlines). must get more! UPDATE: this is fantastic. as promised, i bought 2 more fluidlines.

This is my favorite of all the fluid lines. Its a bronzey copper. This looks almost identical to Coco beach pigment! Its *so* beautiful! Neutral, but unique.

I adore these gel liners. I was using BB gels (and stila smudgepots occasionally) but these are much creamier. You think since they are creamy, the wont last as long right? WRONG! These last MUCH longer than BB Gel liners and Stila. You can put these in your inner rim, and last all day while BB gels only last 2 or so hours in the rim. These are amazing and i plan on getting every shade. EDIT: Ive changed my mind, these def. dont last as long as BB, but great as a shadow!

The girls at MAC were using this as a base, to accentuate the color of their eyeshadows--like Cream Colour Base but SO MUCH BETTER! I now use this as a base for my bronzey and earthy eyeshadows, and as a liner! So pretty!!!

Love this.. Its like MAC Antiqued Veluxe Pearl but even MORE intense and the gel formula is just fabulous. It lasted through sleeping even. The colour is a dark copper/red brown with gorgeous bronze, gold and reddish sparkle. An instant HG! Lasted and looked beautiful on my inner rims even.

I ♥ Rich Ground Fluidline! It reminds me of Teddy Eye Kohl (my fave coppery brown) but that always smudges like mad on me. The Fluidline, however, does not budge! This color really makes my blue-green eyes pop! I'd also say the color is similar to Coco Beach Pigment (one of my other faves). I will definitely buy more of the Fluidlines, and the $13.50 USD price is very reasonable for such a nice product.

Ok, I gave in to the hype & purchased 2 fluidlines in waveline & rich ground. Rich Ground looks similar to Bountiful Brown. It's a bronzy-brown. I wasn't originally going to buy this color but it was so pretty! The texture is so creamy that I didn't know if this would stay on. It is also very pigmented so a little is all that's needed. Once dry, this didn't budge on my hand. If you're worried about creasing use UD PP or paints. The MA also told me that these can be used as cream e/s or as an e/s base, which makes sense due to the consistency. If you have Power Points, I don't you HAVE to have these too, unless you want to of course :o). Some of the fluidline colors look similar to the Power Point colors (i.e silverstroke=silverplate, frostlite=gilded white, waveline=navy stain). These come in glass jars w/black screw-on lids. 3g for $13.50 USD
