this is not an impressive TM at all. the color match was great, ( i used light shade) but after 3 days of use, it broke me out into little white bumps when i wasn't supposed to(i am very sure). it does not have any oil control funtion, so i had to blot oil one hour after. the finish wasn't right, either. the MUA called it "natural and glowing," but i'd rather say it's too "shiny." overall not a keeper for me.

In my continuing search for a good Tm for my ppp oily skin I tried this in Ligt Tint. I found this to be to dark. I just bought the Extra Light tint and it is a perfect match. I like it better colorwise than my prior HG the LM Oil-Free TM. In the LM, I have to mix nude and porcelain to get a good jaw-line match. Will see if it is good for me in summer. For winter, the BB Extra light is a great match and not too oily.

Great product; I use the dark tint and it's very nice. I really like most Bobbie Brown foundations/ tinted moisturizers because they are yellow based and suits my complexion very well. This product also has decent coverage for a tint. moisturizer and a nice finish. Because my skin is fairly decent, I've given up looking for foundations (my skin tone is too hard to match)and stick mostly to tinted moisturizers now. This product is definitely going on my staples list.

I've tried lots of TMs: ten o six, laura mercier, dove, covergirl, becca... but the Bobbi brown is by far and away my favourite. I'm very fickle with foundations and TMs so I wanted to wait a while before i reviewed this and now I'm on my second tube i think i can safely say I love this stuff :) I use this in light tint, and it evens out my asian skin very nicely. I like that it is yellow toned and not heavy. So i can't feel or look too madeup. The finish is very natural and powder isn't mandatory, but sometimes i use it anyway. My skin is relatively clear and not dry or oily but it can be very sensitive and i haven't had any reactions to this. Highly recommended.

I love this stuff! It's great on my sensitive skin. It doesn't have a foul odor, and doesn't make me break out. It gives me an even amount of color and moisturizes at the same time, without making my skin oily.

I wear BB TM in Alabaster, which matches my skin well. Unfortunately, this product doesn't have enough coverage for me during the winter, but I see myself using this in the spring & summer months when my skin is in better (less dry & irritated) condition. All in all, it's a lovely tinted moisturizer that provides minimal coverage. I adore the light cucumber scent as well--I would wear it as a perfume if I could.

Pros: the best color match of TMs I've found (you wouldn't think it would be so hard.) I have NC-25-ish, MAC C3-ish light olive skin with brown hair & eyes. The Light tint is a perfect color match to my underlying winter skin color. It has just enough color to even out the blotchies but looks like no makeup. A little bronzer or blush and lookin'good! The only con so far - it seems a little drying. I'll need to layer an extra moisturizer under it, or a creamy sunscreen. No powder needed, that's for sure. - I can't give this my full support because with s/s I don't always need moisturizer, so this doesn't fit in easily to my routine. Swapped it away.

Unfortunately, this does not agree with my sensitive skin. I'm disappointed, because the color (extra light) and the finish are great. Update: Tried it again, using moisturizer as a "buffer" and it was much more comfotable. Now that the weather is warmer and more humid, I'm going to try it on bare skin . . .

I'll never be someone who wears full foundation eevery day - luckily I just have never needed to. That being said, sometimes I do feel like my skintone needs to be evened out a touch - it's on the dry/sensitive side although mostly normal. I love that this really combines a bit of colour with moisture. I've tried tinted foundations before and find that they rare either too tinted or not tinted enough. I like that it really makes me look better than without it.. but not perfect to the point that I look like I'm wearing any.

LOVE. The color extra light is perfect. Literally melted into my skin and left it looking radiant, but not oily. I've found a hg!

I love this stuff! It's my favorite tinted moisturizer out of dozens I've tried. No breakouts and my skin looks beautiful. Don't love the smell, kind of cucumberish. But I can deal with it. **UPDATE** This is still my HG tinted moisturizer as of 3-15-07.

Meh... well, at least the color was nice. Good selection with the yellow-base... however... i had two complaints: #1. it broke me out in tiny white breakouts here and there (which went away as soon as i stopped use). #2. it did not really make my skin look better, unlike Laura Mercier's TM, which really had an airbrushed effect. The BB was just like a drugstore TM, imo, with better colors. I wish LM would use BB's color with LM's formula!!! :) aw, i can dream, can't i?

I've only used this for a few days, but I really think I am going to enjoy it. I have used a lot of TMs: Stila, LM, Tarte, Dermalogica, etc., but I don't love any of them enough to stop trying new ones. This product is packaged great in a tube with a flip cap so I don't have a loose cap running around. It is a decent sized tube and a little goes a long way. I think this product will last a long time. The color choice works for me because I'm on the yellow side. I love how creamy this product is and it applies very easily. It is dewy, but not overly so and not sparkly like Stila's. It covers about the same as LM and much more than Dermalogica and Tarte. I apply a tiny bit of my Chanel Double Perfection powder just on my nose and forehead to prevent shine, but it's not really necessary. This product tones down the redness in my cheeks and gives a skin a natural polished look...exactly what I want in a TM!

I bought this after reading about the concept of TMs and liking it, and this is pretty highly rated here at MUA. Although I liked it at first, nice coverage with blendability (the Light color worked well enough for my LLL/NW20 skin), and it didn't break me out or feel greasy. However, I discovered Px Virtual Skin liquid foundation and stopped reaching for my BB -- the color didn't feel right anymore, and it was really hard for me to make my skin look good with it. And the smell started getting to me -- like most of BB's products this TM has a scent that I find unpleasant. I like BB as a line, but will not repurchase this product.

This is my favorite tinted moisturizer for my normal to slightly dry skin. I dislike heavy foundations so the texture and coverage of this is perfect. The top of my cheeks tend to naturally be a little red, and the slight yellow tint of this TM covers that up just perfectly. I wish it - the Light shade - were a tad darker, though. I haven't tried the next darker shade yet for comparison, I think it's called Medium. I have tried others including Laura Mercier Sand and Nude TMs, which are my very close runner-up favorites. I sometimes fluctuate on which brand I prefer the most, BB or LM, think it depends on the condition of my skin on any given day as to which brand is better for me. I have used the Bobbi Brown Extra Light occassionally, but the Light is the best match, and I find the yellow undertones flattering to tone down the ruddiness I sometimes have in my cheeks. Have bought many times and will continue to. This is a great product to even out a complexion that's in pretty good shape that doesn't need a lot of coverage. Put on a bit of concealer where needed, finish with a light dusting of your favorite loose powder and blush if desired, and you have a perfect finished polished understated classic Bobbi Brown face.

Great, great, great product! I never used a tinted moisturizer before, only foundation. This summer, I decided to give this a try and I'm glad I did! Absolutely easy to apply and this gives me the dewy, healthy look I was looking for such a long time! I use Medium to Dark which is perfect in summer, but I think I will have to go for Medium for winter.
As I have impurities and spots, I have to cover these with an additional concealer, but for the rest of my skin, this sheer coverage is enough.
Did not cause any breakouts at all. Covers a little bit, but my skin doesn't look "made up" at all, totally naturally.
I can't use this without an additional moisturizer underneath as it will not provide enough moisture for my dry skin.
Will definitely buy again, additionally I do not like my foundations anymore as they do not look as natural, pretty and dewy.

I've tried many TMs (MAC, Aveda, Lancome, Dr. Dennis Gross, Dermalogica, and more). I love the idea of tinted moisturizers, especially ones with SPF. But each of the ones I've tried has its drawbacks. They are either too sheer or too sticky or they sit in the pores or change color or settle into fine lines. I'm only saying all this because I the only fault I can find with the Bobbi Brown TM is the price. It's not cheap, but it's the greatest TM for my skin. For reference, I have normal/combo skin. I am fair with slight yellow undertones and the Extra Light shade is a perfect match. It is creamy and very easy to apply. I will have to buy again.

3 lippies for now, i will def. update in a few days, i went to nordstroms today, and was in desperate (and i mean desperate!) need of a new foundation, i bought this at the bobbi brown counter, and tested it on my hand, its looked very sheer i thougt. I never rely on those department store lights because they can make anyone look even and smoothe, in addition to this, i was with my BF and i never feel free enough to really test out anything when im around him. So i swooshed out of there, tried it on at home (in the pm no natural day light), and thought i looked the same as before i put this on, only this made me look super super shiny, i was expecting light-medium coverage but this was very light almost no coverage at all. I guess i should have really taken into accout that this was not meant for coverage, just moisture. This was my first tinted moisturizer i have ever tried, i would have given this 2 lippies but... again its a TM, and i shouldnt expect it to be matte + coverage. In all i beleive that this is for someone who has perfect skin/tiny bit of dryness, there are not alot of women with this kind of skin, so if you have perfect skin this with do the trick. BTW, i love the packaging, doesnt spill anywhere and it pretty sanitary.

LOVE this! It is the most yellow toned tinted moisturizer I have seen which is great for my NC20 skin (I use light)! Sometimes it can be a tad bit dark so I mix it with Armani LSF #4 foundation or my moisturizer (Cetaphil Cream). It has quite a bit of coverage, the only downside is that alot leaks out of the tube, I'm not sure why. My skin gets red in patches so this helps even it out! It hasn't caused breakouts or irritation and I have reactionary skin. My HG tinted moisturizer!
