This worked a miracle on my hair after damaging it last week with Colour Experte color. This is the first time in a week my hair has felt like normal, healthy hair and has shine. I can see why you'd only use it once every week or two because it is heavy stuff.
UPDATE: I could never figure out what people were talking about when they said they hated this stuff and it made their hair limp and strawlike. Well, I finally understand! I've never left it on for longer than maybe 3 minutes in the shower. Today I tried leaving it on for 30 minutes. EW!!! The result was horrible. I had to rewash and condition all over again. I'll stick to using it it for 2-3 minutes tops!!!

This is a good conditioner that has kept my thick curly hair in a soft and manageable state. In terms of the annoying packaging: I bought one of those plastic squeeze containers and transferred some of the product into it. It works perfectly. EDITED: This is still a great conditioner, but it doesn't detangle my hair. So now I use a tiny dab as a leave-in, and use another conditioner to make my hair silky.

Wonderful, Wonderful, Wonderful!!!!! Did I mention that this product is wonderful? I have extremely long, extremely thick, extremely coarse, extremely dry hair. I have found few conditioners that can actually detangle, smooth, and silken my hair. However, Queen Helene's Hair Conditioning Cream does the job beautifully, and with ease. I am a customer for life!! :-)

This is a good conditioner, it's been around a long time. It's much cheaper han "name brand" cholesterol treatments and I suspect is frequently overlooked just because it is inexpensive.

It can be used as a regular conditioner or with a heated towel or heat cap for extra conditioning. It's great for permed hair.

There are no silicones in it, no build up, doesn't weigh my fine hair down.

I've kept this on hand for many years.

My hair is 1c-2a/f/ii - 35" long, fine, thin, color-treated, dry at the ends.

I have dry, frizzy, color treated hair. This made it look healthy and feel silky and smooth.

It may well work, but it requires the extra hassle of a heating cap and 30 to 45 minutes. And it SMELLS way too strong. I threw mine in the trash.

I tried a sample tube of this last summer and it made my hair *extremely* dry and staticky (sp?). I will never be repurchasing.

This makes my colour-treated hair smooth and silky. The scent isn't great, but it works so well that you can almost forget the scent.

This is super for all hair types. We used this in beauty school for a scalp treatment. I still continue to use it every now and then for a pick me up. It's dirt cheap too! Great to apply on Friday nights and leave on with a warm towel for a few hours. It is very heavy so it shouldn't be used often. The best thing to do is use this in the summer months if your tanning in your yard beach etc put this on and let it soak right in.

It's good for African-American hair. It's not a glamorous product, but it is effective.
