Fine shampoo. I don't know if it made my hair stronger, probably not. But it is very gentle, just look at the ingredients, sodium laureth sufate. That is very mild.
The smell is lovely and very likable, I like the creamy pearl-like look of the shampoo. My friend used this and her hair fell out; my hair seemed to like this more than hers.

First of all, I dont see y everyone hates the cap...it is fine! I like the bottle, very attractive lime green color and shape. This lathers sooo well which I love. (u only need to use a little) This made my hair a little smoother and shinier. again not like the packaging boasts, but I still enjoyed it. o yeah...it smells great!!

Good shampoo. Kind of a weak smell, good, but it didn't last. Not really spectacular but it did make my hair shinier so I'll give it 3 lippies.

I was tipped off that this product contained very effective protiens when some friends told me they didn't like this product because it made their hair hard. When I heard that I ran right out and bought it because I spend oodles of money on salon protein shampoos because my hair is chemically processed and needs regular protein maintenance. Garnier is perfect for my hair and maintains a great balance without costing a mint.
I don't usually like things that smell like food or fruit but I love the smell of this stuff. I use it and the conditioner exclusively now and it has been excellent at maintaining a proper protein balance for my dyed and permed hair. Bear in mind the proteins in it may be a bit too much for average civilians.

Um...this isn't bad! It smells SOOOOO good, which is maybe the only reason im so in love with this! it cleans well...but I'm looking for something a little more volumizing. I will definetly use up the bottle, and MAYBE will get it again. It does improve the condition of my hair so thats pretty good. Cleans well...smells great...I don't know. I'm not picky about shampoo (Pantine Pro-V is the only product I really don't like) so ye...this isnt perfect...but close to it!!

After you get over the annoying cap part, its actually a good shampoo. Amazing scent, definately a bit mild and much less breakage than citre shine/dove or any mainstream shampoo i've tried. I'm still searching for the perfect shampoo for me, but untill then this will do just fine. Will repurchase, till my dream shampoo comes along.

Bought it for the smell. Leaves my hair soft, and smelling like apples and pears for a bit...but overall can't claim it does anything noticeable to my hair. UPDATE: This leaves a film after awhile of use. Make sure to have a good clarifying shampoo once a week. Can't say I'll be buying this again!

This is a good shampoos, but nothing special. I like the smell and it's not too drying for my hair also doesn't weigh my hair down.

I got a Garnier Fructis Fortifying shampoo hair sample from one of my friends, so I can't tell you about the packaging or the price. From reading some of the reviews, it seems that the packaging is kind of weird, so I gave it a 3. As for the price, I just guessed. It's a drugstore brand, so it can't be too expensive. But onto the shampoo!
It smells soooooooo (multiply that by five hundred) good! I love the smells of most shampoos, and this is no exception. Probably one of the best (or the best) shampoo smells ever. I'm not so sure about the strengthening portion, though. The usual amount of hairs fell out when I combed it. Hmm... Well, they got the cleansing part right, anyway. You could say it's an average shampoo, but it's nothing bad. And the smell! Ah... It's not quite as strong after you've rinsed it out, though. I might consider getting this (after the many shampoos in the bathroom are used up, anyways.) It's mainly the smell that I'm attracted to this shampoo. It seems to make your hair feel a lot lighter and shinier to some extent. Then again, most shampoos do. A pretty average shampoo, (hey, your average shampoo isn't that bad) but with the best smell.

This is the worst shampoo everrrrr!
It smells good in the bottle but on the hair it smells awful!! I don't know maybe it's my hair. But, if you are one of those who likes to have have a fresh clean smell hours later you shampoo, this is definitely not for you.

I bought the one for oily-root-dry-end ! I love it !!!!! ^_^ It doesn't itch my scalp , and now it's extra hot and humid summer here at where i am , and this shampoo saves me !!! Smells great, somehow it makes my scalp less oily , no dandruff , not sure about its "end" moisturising properties though ... but I think this one's great !

I don't think this shampoo cleans very well. My hair seems to get dirtier faster and I had to use clarifying shampoo every once in awhile. Maybe it was the Fructis conditioner i was using was too oily, but even so, the shampoo from the same line should be able to work well with the conditioner. Packaging is annoying, hard to open in the shower. I won't be buying this again.

Packaging sucks since you have to pry it open with your fingernails. Price is cheap but the product is actually worth less than the cheap price. The only good thing about it os the smell. I have had an itchy scalp for months after using this shampoo. It did not make my hair shiny or condition it. I feel like a fool for buying into the sleek advertising on this one. The only thong it has going for it is the apple smell but now I will be forever afraid of that smell as I fear it is some type of AHA that might irritate my scalp or skin. The same smell can be had for about $1 a bottle with daily defense products.

Although I like the price, packaging, and even the smell.... I must say this product is AWFUL if you have heavy styling products buildup. The day after using Aveda Universal Styling Cream, I reached for this shampoo. NO SUDS. I actually thought I had accidentally grabbed the conditioner. Rinsed and tried again. STILL NO SUDS. After 3 times, I gave up and reached for something else. Yuck.

Love it. I've had quite an itchy scalp lately and have tried everything - Head & Shoulders, Physique, Pantene, various tea tree oil shampoos. Nothing worked - except the Garnier Fructis for Normal Hair. I actually use the matching conditioner on 5 yr old daughter and thought I'd try the shampoo.
My scalp now does not itch. Good stuff!

When I first tried this shampoo on it didnt do much. However, its been 2 weeks now and I can actually see the difference between my old shampoo and this. My hair feels silkier, smoother, and it doesnt fall out as much as it used to. I heard the best results are when you use the conditioner and treatment together with the shampoo. I will definitely be buying this again.
