In response to the previous review, I've heard a professional mention that a treatment is of good value only if it's somewhat sticky. I forgot the rationale behind it but I remember it sounded pretty logical. I personally found its stickiness to be slightly above average but definitely bearable. :) Also, the stickiness disappears after 30 secs.
I like this product because its ingredients' very simple, which is good cause it's not loaded with bad stuffs, like almost all the other products out there in the market. It's so difficult to find a product with safe ingredients for sensitive skin! (FYI, a number of DHC's product are also composed of all safe ingredients, plz read my other reviews)
It is very hydrating, but I found it necessary to add another moisturizer on top of it. But using it underneath my moisturizer definitely improved my skin texture. It looks so much more supple and hydrated.

I'm surprised that nobody here complains about the stickiness of this product. Following the instructions, I apply 3 drops per application, but it appears to be SOOOOO STICKYYY!! Other than that, I agree it's a very hydrating product. This is meant to be used on top of any Skinceuticals serums, what I don't understand is..why am I told to apply another layer of moisturiser after using this B5 hydrating gel? I really feel this product alone is moisturising enough, and felt my skin really oily when I once apply moisturiser on top of it. I won't be repurchasing this again only because it appears to be so sticky, as well as pricey.

This product has helped significantly to even out my very acne-prone yet parched and flaky skin. Feels like adding pure moisture, not oil, to the skin. I am very breakout-prone around my mouth, and am always petrified to put any product in that area. After a bout of overdyring my face with acne products, I needed something soothing for moisture, and this stuff was perfect. I have gone through half a bottle (which has taken several months) and have not had a single breakout around my mouth since I started using it. If I ever find out they're going to stop making this stuff, I'll buy their entire inventory!

This is a gel consistency clear moisturizer. Like most gel moisturizer, it will form a film when it dries on your skin. It will also be a little bit taut if you don't mix it with another moisturizer. It will be nice to mix with a drop or 2 of jojoba oil. It is a good product but it definitely don't worth the high price tag. There is a pure hyaluronic acid by professional solution which contains water and hyaluronic acid only and cost $24. Less than half the price of this and that $30 more is cost to preservatives, vitamin B5. A rip off product so I will never buy it again.
Someone rec'd spenco 2nd skin as a cheaper alternative. Spenco got a very very nasty film that I hate. Spend more $$$ and get PS. However, I won't buy either of them again as I found using hyluronic acid is so plain. It can't improve my skin in anyway.
Ingredients: Water, sodium hyaluronate, pantothenic acid, pheonoxyethanol

I purchased this gel because I was so impressed with the Skinceuticals C&E Serum. However, I can't say the same about this product. It made me get little bumps all over my face so I stopped using it. Of course as soon as I stopped using it, the bumps went away..

I love this product. I've been using it for a couple years now, and I will continue to use it as long as my skin stays so dry and sensitive. I wear this during the day under my moisturizer. It sinks into my skin right away, and makes it feel moisturized, but like I'm wearing nothing at all. It's not moisturizing enough that I would wear it alone, but I have friends who do. It helps clear up dry patches, and it makes my skin so soft! I don't have a problem with pimples, but I don't think this product is heavy enough to cause pimples in others. You've gotta try it!

It forms a protection layer over my skin, enclosing the nutrients and moisture within. After applying it, my face lightens up and looks healthy and feels soft.

Amazing! It even works well on my sensitive skin. However, I need another moisturiser after using this. If I just use it along, it will hurt my waller and the price here is ridiculous. I love it and want to continue to use it but dunno if my wallet will say yes ...

This is supposed to be used as an add on to your moisturizer to give the skin a moisture boost. It is great for oily/acne prone skin because it is oil free and will not clog the pores. It is identical to the Cellex C hydra 5 complex, with it's main ingredient being hyaluronic acid. However, I found Clinique moisture surge extra to be superior in price, amount of product and performance.

Out of all the SkinCeauticals line this was my favorite product. It was very moisurizing without feeling greasy or heavy. A little bit goes a long way. I love the idea behind using hyaluronic acid to replace the natural loss of it as we age. Great alone for oily skintypes or during the hot summer months. I just wish that companies would start putting their products into pump style bottles to preserve the product & prevent contamination. I have since moved on to LP, but would still recommend this one.

This is a wonderful moisturizer either alone or added to serums, lotions, or creams. Very versatile and perfect for any skin type. A definite keeper, especially on hot summer days.

Nice product for bringing extra moisture to your skin. I use a few drops before my day or night cream.
Nice and noticable differnece in my skins hydration after just a few days of use (I've had this for about 2 weeks now). It's fragrance free, oil free and colorless and has caused no negative reactions with my sensitive skin. I'll definitely keep this in my skincare routine.
