I love how this is a versatile product. You can use it for many things like a toner, refreshing mist or with pigments or with hair it apparently makes it look shiny and you can use it with powders so it can get rid of that powdery look and giving you a fresh flawless dewy look etc. It feels nice on the skin once it's sprayed on,it feels so refreshing wow.

not sure if they sell the travel size of fix + at mac counters, but i know they do at pro stores. i always purchase the travel size version because it's easier to carry around and it's only $10, and this will take a long time to run out of.

i love the packaging and the thing you press down on for the mist to spray out. very sleek packaging, just like all mac products.

i have not experienced any breakouts. fix + is very refreshing and smells great! good for dry skin and hot days! not sure if it sets my makeup since i haven't seen any difference. but i love!

Many people are saying this product is supposed to make your foundation/powder stay on the face. That is not what this spray does. This is a hydrating spray that takes the "make-up" look away. It has no chemicals in it. It is just a mineral water with green tea, cucumber extract, vitamin E etc. in it so soothe and hydrate the skin before and after the make up. This is not supposed to make the make up stay in place that is what a foundation primer is for.

I use fix+ after I'm finished putting on my face makeup. I don't believe it makes my makeup last any longer like many people claim, but I use it mainly to lightly moisten my face and it gets rid of the powdery look. It's like it helps the makeup melt into the skin, if that makes sense, making it look more natural. I use a long-wear foundation, so I don't have any problem with my makeup lasting, but if your looking for a setting spray to make your makeup last, I'd got for Urban Decay All-Nighter instead of fix+, but if your looking to freshen your face and make your makeup look more natural, then fix+ is the way to go!

Seriously, I don't get how people think this "sets" their make-up in the "make it last longer"-way or how it gets rid of shine... it's not what this is meant for, and it's not what it is doing /:-| I know it says "setting spray", but it has nothing in it to actually set make-up, except for water. This is a refreshing spray for the face, or something one [MAC claims] can use to get rid of a powdery look. This is also supposed to calm down the skin, which I think it's pretty decent for. It's also possible to blend this together with minerals to make a liquid mineral foundation or use it for a wet shadow or liner. Personally, I don't like to use it with mineral foundation, because it often can look darker after mixing with this/spritzing over. There are also some cream or liquid products that applies better over a moistened face, in which case, this would be a nice choice. It's good for people that like to spritz their face with home made vitamin water, because it can be stored for much longer than home made products. It also smells very nice and lasts a long time, because you don't need much every time you apply.
.
Why I rated this 3? Because I thought this was going to actually get rid of the powdery look at the time that I wore a lot of powders. Yes, it did, but for quite a short time; after it had dried, my face looked just as powdery as before, if my natural oils hadn't come through yet. If I used it several times a day, my make-up was also kinda melting away after some time, which I definitely didn't like - maybe it's just because this doesn't go well with the make-up I use.
.
This may be a very nice refreshing spray for hot summer days, with its vitamins, calming properties and all, but it's not a thing I personally need, because it makes my make-up not look as good, and I wear make-up most of the time. Good for me only after tanning on the beach... Can easily be swapped out with rosewater or something.

I purchased the mac Fix + because I wear mineral makeup and wasn't pleased that by the end of the workday my makeup had worn off. It was suggested that I use this to set my makeup. It works really well. Today is the 2nd time I've used it and I can't wait to see the results again. My makeup yesterday lasted until I got home, and I had to use makeup remover to remove it. Very Pleased!

I love this product! I use it over my Face Shop's Aqua Tinted BB Cream and it looks so amazing (flawless looking). I like the dewy look it gives (since I'm a hardcore fan of dewy skin). It is also a summer must have (or winter too) since it really refreshes your skin!!!! :D

This is my new toner since Estee Lauder Verité toner was discontinued. I found out that both formulas were almost the same, just couple of additional ingredients in Mac version. I also use it sometimes for fixing makeup, but primary use is as a toner. It smooths my skin and moisturizes without irritating at all. I have not been able to use any other toner in my skin so far but these two. All the others I have tried (tons I have to say) irritate my skin like hell. I just pray Mac does never discontinue this one.
UPDATE: after some months of use, I am feeling that the fragance it contains is drying out my skin. Nothing very noticeable, but I have removed one lippie as it would definitely be great without fragance.

I've been using this as a toner, and I love it. It locks in moisture, keeps my face fresh, and doesn't break me out, which is awesome. I love the fresh rose scent of it too. Some people say that this is glorified water, but there are ingredients in it that make it more than water with fragrance. I bought the mini version, and I probably will keep doing that since paying $30 for the full sized is just too much. Plus, I'll be able to get to Back to MAC faster!

A glass of water for the face and then some. I apply a few sprits before anything, moisturizing, foundation, anything. I never use it after makeup as i dont like to be overly glowy but as a skin saver it's a must have. winter or summer it hydrates your skin amazingly.

My mom swears by this thing, but it doesn't really do anything for me. I feel like its just basically glycerin with fragrance water. Despite what people say, it does not make your makeup last long. There is not ingredient in it that does that. If you like a dewy look or what your makeup not powdery looking you can spray it after applying your make up to give it that effect.

This is very good for those who have dry skin. I spray it onto my mac 187 brush before dabbing the brush into foundation. It gives it a more dewy appearance and keeps the foundation from drying up during application. I also spray it onto my face after applying foundation if the foundation looks cakey. It really helps my makeup look more subtle, more dewy, everything that is hard to achieve when you have dry skin! If you have oily skin, I really don't see any reason to get this though.

But, everything considered, it's not a completely necessary purchase (definitely too overpriced) and I go without using it a lot, especially when I use a good moisturizer. I"d only recommend it if you are having problems with foundation drying too fast, cakey makeup, or just really want to dilute your foundation for a more natural sheer look. It is great for those 3 things.

For those that expect this to help your makeup last, look somewhere else. It's great to add moisture to your face, sprayed on your brush to help foundation apply more smoothly, after you're done applying makeup to blend everything and take away the cakey look. This is a nice product but pricey just for some water and minerals. If you want a cheaper alternative, try the evian mineral water spray.

A MUST have product. I always apply it on my brush before applying my foundation and I have found that it helps the foundation go on smoother. Amazing smell, apply it after makeup to avoid a cakey face.

Pros:
1. This product is very refreshing and with a great scent to it.
2. It removes that cakey and powdery look from makeup.
3. It locks in moisturizer and is a moisturizer itself!

Cons:
1. I got a faulty bottle or something but I put the liquid in another bottle so it's all good.
2. I just paid $20 for water ):

Did not do nothing for me. What's the point of having this thingy? After using it for a couple of days I just can't be bothered. Maybe one day I will find a useful way for this spray.

I've been using this religously on my face for the past 2 years and I can't go a day without it. Lots of people spray this on after they have applied their makeup, but I spray 5 sprays of this on before my makeup and after my moisturizer. It makes my skin nice and dewey and all prepped for makeup, and makes the makeup look a lot better too. I don't know what's in it exactly, but it works for me. The packaging is nice but it isnt the best. I would consider spraying this on after I do my makeup as well, its just I dont think that the spray is fine enough for me to do that, I'm afraid it will be blotchy on my face. sometimes the spray can be a little uneven. This isnt an issue for me exactly because I spray this on before my makeup, but It would have another use for me if the nozzle was better.
