this stuff is pretty good. love it for everydayy especially if im not gonna blow dry my hair. it makes my hair very soft and feel very healthy. it is very affordable and a little goes a loooong way. i made the mistake of using too much the first time and it made my hair oily. however, it think the miracle 7 from sallys makes my hair more managable and look nicer. but like i said this is great for everyday. btw, i also recommend the argan oil deep conditioner...its amazing!

I got this product from Sally's with the Shampoo and conditioner. I have dry, thick hair that tends to be poofy with lots of frizz and flyaways. I've only just started using this combination of products, but so far I really like it.

I washed and conditioned last night, then I blowdried and flat ironed my bangs and left the rest to air dry while I slept. I also used a little bit of Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener in my bangs. My hair is all very soft today and the frizz is minimal. Usually I find that anti-frizz products do nothing for my hair, but this seems to have helped quite a bit!

I actually like the packaging for the oil, because when I wanted just enough product for my bangs, I could just run a finger around the top of the bottle and get just the right amount for that small area.

I assumed this product was good, WRONG. This has sillicone & sulfates in it etc. I got the keratin treatment done and this product just sucked my hair dry. no go. and my boyfriend hated when i wore this, he said I smelt like a nursing home

NOTE: Previously, I made a mistake and put this review under Moroccan Oil when it was supposed to go under this One 'n Only Argan Oil Treatment. Sorry!

I was really excited when I found this product at Sally's Beauty Supply because I had heard so much about it on MUA. Without any styling products, my hair tends to look very stiff and flat. I don't have a lot of hair so it desperately needs volume, which is why I am always on the lookout for products that will make it soft and silky but won't weigh it down with heaviness. This stuff does moisturize and smooth instantly, but only because it coats the hair. My hair felt ridiculously silky and slippery (thanks to a silicone as one of the first ingredients in here), but it fell flat very quickly and the roots got greasy by the end of the day. In conclusion, I find that this Argan Oil Treatment is better suited for those with thick and/or coarse hair. If you desire that super straight look and you have thick dry hair that needs to be tamed, go for this product. I like the Biosilk Silk Therapy better because it does not leave a heavy gloss over my hair and my hair still retains a lot of bounce. It even leaves some of the natural wave in my ends instead of making my hair stick straight. You can find a Generic Value Product version of the Biosilk at Sally's.

What can I say? I love this. I use it on dry hair and it makes my hair shiney and soft - not a small feat for me. My hair is dry and pourous.

I really wanted to like this. Got it at Sally's along with the one n only shampoo and conditioner. Loved the idea of it, loved the earthy scent, but it just doesn't do what I thought it would. I've used a little and I've used a lot. My long, wavy hair just laid there looking blah. The shampoo and conditioner are decent if you're looking for something sulfate-free.

I don't know that I would buy this product again, so I put "no". However, I do like it after using it once. I made the mistake of using way too much - so I had to re-wash and then add in a little leave in conditioner because my hair got so snarly. Given all of that - my hair is beautifully shiny, soft, and manageable. And - funny how quickly my hair dries with this little bit of oil to it.

So - if I were to use a MUCH smaller amount, I think this would be great. It smells nice - almost like a really light, clean-smelling guy's cologne. The price was low, and if you use the small amount you're supposed to, this would last quite a while. I used this only on wet hair, but I'd like to try a little on dry hair as well.

This product makes my hair look naturally shiny, unlike other products which make my hair look greasy. I used a dime size to my hair and the shine lasts all day. It makes my hair look and feel super healthy. It helps frizz and detangles and it smells pretty good. but the scent doesn't last that long so people who like unscented products don't have to worry. I love it! I purchased this on the sally website and this product ships free. I used a five dollar coupon and the total came out to $4.00 ( regular price around $ 9-10). Unfortunately that code expired but I know there is a code for 20% off right now. I would still buy this product full price.

I apply this when my hair is wet and once my hair is dry it doesnt look so frizzy and it makes my hair very soft. I also like to apply some before i straighten my hair with a flat iron and my hair turns out really smooth and shiny. The other day i also used some before i blow dried my hair and usually it ends up very frizzy but not this time and it also made my hair dry a lot faster than usual. Definitely a great product if you have very frizzy or dry hair.

I love this product!!! I have thick, coarse, curly, wavy and frizzy hair. I also bought this at Sally's, the lady there recommended it so since it was on sale I decided to go ahead and get it since as most of you have tried other products and spent way more than $8.00, I figured what the heck and get it.
Sally's now has One n' Only Argan shampoo and conditioner as well. Since I like the oil I bought both of then to try as well. So far I like them both just wish the bottles were bigger. After I wash my hair I still put the oil in my hair and let it air dry.
I will buy this product again. I also have the Moroccon Oil to but seem to use this more than it.

I cannot make a comparison to any other brand since this is the only Argan oil I've tried. My friend works at Sally's and picked this up for me since it's a bestseller and I can certainly see why! This is probably the best smoothing/frizz beating products I've tried. The oil absorbs quickly and makes me hair shiny, bouncy and frizz free. I own a ton of hair products and this is the only one I reach for anymore. The only bad thing is the packaging and if you apply this too liberally it will make your hair look wet even when it's dry. Overall, this is my new HG.

I'm really glad I stumbled across this product! I had gone to Ulta one day to pick up some flat iron spray and decided to look around for Moraccan oil. Couldn't find it so i meandered into the Sallys beauty supply next door. the girl working there recommended the argan oil so i thought it's less than ten bucks, why not. my hair is extremely thick and tends to suck up product like a camel in the desert so i wasn't worried about it looking too oily. i use a little ( i guess a quarter size?) amount of the argan oil from halfway down my hair to the ends and blow dried as normal. the results were really positive - my hair looked HEALTHY and had more shine than normal. i've never tried the original moroccan oil so i honestly can't compare and say if this works better/worse/same, but for this price and this result i don't think i'll be trying the real thing unless i get a free sample. will def. repurchase again

One big oily mess is the only way I can describe my hair after using this product.

I had been using Moroccan oil which I didn't like so thought I would try this brand. Argan oil makes Morrocan oil look good!!

I have very dry, waist length curly hair. Using a tiny amount I spread through the midlengths and ends of my hair. It just didn't absorb and sat there, looking like I hadn't washed my hair in weeks.

Not happy at all with this product.

Heard about Argan Oil a few months ago from various YouTube beauty gurus who were reviewing it. After further researching it I decided I simply must give it ago and ordered a 25ml bottle of 100% pure Argan Oil on eBay from a seller of various certified organic oils. I first used it as a pre-shampoo treatment by applying to the ends of my colour treated hair and leaving on for up to a few hours. I didn’t see any miraculous change to my hair. I then tried applying only the tiniest amount to my hair after blow drying and admittedly, it did make my hair feel soft and silky but after using for over a month, I didn’t see any long term changes in my hair. I have since purchased the One N Only Argan Oil which has a bunch of other ingredients, I know – but seems to be a much better formula than the 100% pure Argan Oil. It’s a much thinner consistency and has a fabulous soft floral scent. It makes my hair silky and manageably without the slightest appearance of greasiness. Over the course of a month, I have noticed a significant change in the health of my hair. I noticed some girls thought it should come with a pump dispenser, I disagree - a pump would cause too much to come out. Highly recommended especially to those who have coarse or brittle locks. At only $17.95 AUD this was a bargain considering you only need the tiniest amount, 100ml should last up to a year.

This is the best product I have EVER used on my hair! I cant believe all the money I have spend on hair products and this is all I needed! I have a cabinet full of worthless hair products now that I have found this. I have very long thick curly/wavy hair and I spend alot of time blow drying and using a flat iron so I have alot of damage to my hair. I also dye it and highlight it so it was beginning to look and feel like straw. I got this at Sallys after reading so many great reviews and I am so glad I did! My hair is so smooth and shiny after flat ironing now, I just cant get over how great it looks and feels. It also smells great...although the smell does go away after awhile. I will never use another product other than this one again!

I LOVE this product. I had seen the Moroccan Oil mentioned on the boards but had not yet investigated. This was by the register at a great beauty supply house I go to and they had a tester so I rubbed a little through my hair, purchased my other stuff, and headed out to my car. I got in and looked in the mirror and my hair looked amazing. It was soft and silky and the split ends that need a trim soon were gone. I got out of my car and went back and purchased a bottle (this place is in an upscale neighbourhood, very bohemian-chic so I would rather not say what I paid but it was way more than Sally's). Anyway, I love it. My hair was severely damaged and most of it fell out due to an illness a few years ago so I treat it like spun glass (no colour, no heat, CO washing, weekly deep treatments) and it has finally grown back thick and healthy and is a couple of inches above BSL. I have natural waves but I just started blow-drying it straight sometimes using a heat protectant. I noticed that this does have 'cones so I thought I would give it a try and it is amazing. It is the only leave-in/styling product I use now. I wash every 3-4 days and the first time I used it on wet hair I was worried that I used too much (quarter sized) but my hair drank it in while I was drying and it is like a silk curtain hanging down my back. I work a tiny bit through dry hair on the days I don't wash and "touch-up" with the dryer. My hair does start looking a little greasy by day 3 or 4 (with or without Argan Oil) and usually gets pulled into a ponytail until I wash it, but the other days it stays straight with no fly-aways even in the 95% humidity. I also use this when I'm not planning on drying it and it helps define my curls and prevent frizzies. In comparison, I have used Carol's Daughter Tui Oil hair Milk and more than the tiniest pea-sized amount and I have to re-wash because it looks so oily. I LOVE the smell (esp. yummy after B&B Creme de Coco) and I think I will take the tip that others have mentioned and put this in an amber bottle with a dropper. I do use a deep cleaning shampoo about every third wash to remove all residue and start fresh. I will buy it at Sally's next time.

I have long, dry, fine wavy hair that tends to get flat and lifeless easily with most oils, serums, treatments etc. This stuff has worked practically miracles for the look and feel of my hair. I was weary about trying yet another hair oil, but it seems like everywhere I looked people were talking about how great the Morroccan Oil was, even for my hair type. I really wanted to try it, but was put off by the $30 price tag- I researched & read reviews leading me to descover this much cheaper alternative I could get at my Sally's for $7.95! Now I'm completely hooked on this stuff! Alittle goes a long way, so this bottle will last me a long, long time. This oil does not simply "mask" the dryness and imperfections of my hair just to be washed out later, but actually is a true treatment that seems to instantly repair, stengthen & improve the quality of my hair every time I use it. It does not leave hair oily, even if you overdo it! I apply a dime size amount to towel dried hair, concentrating mostly on the ends & up to about 2 inches from my scalp, after every shampo, then twist it up in a loose bun, and let air dry. My hair dries in soft, shiny waves that aren't too flat or weighed down. My only concern now is that after reading reviews here, a couple of people have said that it can add a red color to your hair, which makes sense since it's red/orange tinted. Having golden blonde hair with no desire for any coppery or brassiness in it, I really hope this doesn't happen because I love this oil so much. I've been using it for about 3 months now with no noticeable changes, but I'll update this review if I this happens. Overall, VERY impressed & will purchase again!

Oh what can I say about this gold in a bottle? Its absolutely amazing! I purchased it on sale about a month ago at sally's beauty supply for 99 cents! To bad the bottle was only 0.25 fl. oz but I tell you great things come in small packages. So if you really know me i'm not really big into using many products in my hair because I hate having oily hair or buildup..well at first I was alittle worried as to what this Argan Oil might do? So I went with using only a drop-literally! I rubbed it in my palm and applied it on the ends of my hair thats where it was needed the most~! Haha! I've been using it like every week before and after I straighten my hair, it really does make a difference. And as long as you use alittle you hair won't be limp or greasy but still feel healthy and shiny! I love the smell too! This is a wonderful product with so many uses for hair as well as skin. It can be used wet or dry, color treated or permed hair. I can not wait to purchase a bigger bottle! I love Agan Oil!

I got the small size of this to try before I bought the full size. I asked the girl at Sally's about coconut oil, and she gave me Argan oil. I was telling her I used coconot oil as a deep conditioner, so I thought that was what Argan oil was going to be, but it's not. I liked the small size. I have very long hair, about 2 inches past the bottom of my bra. I would use about 2 nickel size drops and it made my hair smooth and silky and not heavy.
So, I bought the full size, b/c I had a $5 off $5 purchase certificate for taking a Sallys survey online. I HATE it!! It smelled stronger, but it was a good smell. When I poured it in my hand, it felt thicker. I used about a quarter size drop, and combed it through, let it air dry a while, then blow dried it. I looked like I hadn;t washed my hair in weeks and my hair felt so weighed down. I put lotion on after the oil, so my whole body felt oily and slick. I left home for about 3 hours and had to take a another shower when I got back to get the gross feeling off. My hair has never felt so clean as it does since I washed that crap out!
