This product is great for the price. It doesn't last all day, but hey, it's $3. I recommend it to people with any skin type/color. When all of the colors are mixed together, it becomes sort of white. It does cover up redness, and gives you somewhat of an even skin tone. The only reason I wouldn't buy it again is because the white powder doesn't compliment my already pale skin.

I have been using E.L.F. Complexion Perfection for a short while and since I am starting to see the bottom of the pan I guess it is time for a review!
The Complexion Perfection powder belongs to the Studio Line so it is $3 - not $1. I got mine at Target. The powder itself is divided into 4 different shades.
I swirl all four colors together and use this as a finishing powder over liquid foundation. I like the effect it gives although sometimes it can be ashy if you over-do it. I do not have redness or any need for corrective color so I can't really speak to that but overall this is a light weight powder that doesn't have any visible color (on me) so I can use it without worrying about it altering the look of my liquid foundation. I do still have breakthrough oily-ness but that is no different from any other powder I've used.
Would I buy again, yes.

It was 3 bucks and came with a nice mirror. The packaging is nice. That is the only good thing about this.
WTF is this product?! It gave me such a ghostly appearance because of the white powder in it, there's only one shade of this so don't waste ur money. Don't be fooled by the pretty colours of the powder and packaging, this CERTAINLY did not cover my pimples or anything whatsoever. The only thing is gave me was a ghostly white appearance. Stupid product, will never ever repurchase. Neither should u

This makes me a weird greeny blue ashy color even though I am fair skinned. It did take away any redness but looking like a dead smurf is not really any better...

I used this both on bare skin and to set my makeup, with e.l.f.'s studio powder brush and both times it made my NC30 skin a weird shade of "seasick". I have a bit of redness on the tops of my cheeks and around my nose and a few faded acne scars toward the outsides of my cheeks and I can't say it evened or balanced any of it out. it did absorb oil though...but...um...yeah I don't even know if that's a benefit worth mentioning given the gross color my skin turned. Haha I'm going to exchange this for a blush/bronzer duo. :)

THE BEST effect upon application, but FAST FADING takes it away. If there were a product that did what this does on application but STAYED, I'd love it.
The great effect it does give, albeit short-lived, is a kind of "skin-perfecting", "evening", or "glowing" look... It makes you look like you have great skin tone no matter how tired, hung-over, etc. you are... For reference, my skin is quite clear but my skin tone is quite blotchy and uneven.
Color: Tints of pink, blue, green, and yellow meant to be combined with swirling of your brush in product and, when applied, separate colors become unnoticeable. You get a "skin tone evening" effect that is short-lived but looks nice at first.
Texture: Smooth, mattifying.
Lasting Ability: Already complained about this many times, lol! It's a real shame :(.
Way too bad it doesn't last!

I love this product, I'm on my 2nd one already. I use it to set all of my makeup since it keeps the shine at bay all day. I take a big fluffy brush & swirl it through all the colors. It keeps my oil at bay & doesn't leave a white cast!

I bought this and discovered that I prefer using a creamy concealer to hide my blemishes, but this is extremely good in providing a streamlined powder if my foundation looks shiny. I apply foundation and then set it with this for an even look (I don't like putting on an additional pressed powder, it gets too heavy).

I LOVE this product it was become a must in my daily routine! When I looked on the E.L.F. website I never considered ordering this product but my local grocery store now carries E.L.F and I saw this and I couldn't resist trying it for $2.99!
My skin is kind of strange, it's got a little redness and a little yellowness to it and I also have extremely dark circles : (
I use this product for so many things, I use a fluffy ES bush to apply the different color powders where I need correction...I use the green around my nose, I mix the yellow and pink to get a orange color to set my under eye, I use the blue to brighten the sallow yellow tones around my mouth. & also when I'm running really late sometime I just take a huge fluffy brush and apply this allover my face for an allover evenness.
I love this product and I have gone thorough two backups already. I highly recommend you at least give it a try for 3 bucks!

Since MAC & UD is expensive for me now, im really loving drugstore makeup. My target got ELF so i bought this. Its really good used as a blot powder. Also if u put your liquid foundation on and it looks a little too orange, i apply this over it and it evens it out so it looks normal. The compact is HUGE and it has a mirror. its not fancy packaging but its only $3. i will buy again and ill check out some other stuff from their line

My biggest problem with my face is redness. I bought this item hoping that it would even my skintone, but it doesn't really work that well. It is good for setting after using liquid foundation.

I was extremely intrigued by this product when I saw it on the ELF site. I ordered it with a bunch of other studio items as part of their 60% off sale. So not only is it cheap at full price, you can get it for 60% off if you wait for the coupon codes to come out :)
I LOVE the packaging. it looks so luxurious and expensive! The mirror is gorgeous and large which makes application a breeze. The powder itself is so smooth and soft. It gives me a lovely matte finish. My skin is combination with an oily forehead, so I like the mattefying look it gives me. It tones down redness I have on my cheeks and around my nose so I look like I have a perfect complexion!
I like that the colors are separated, so you can use them for specific problems if you need to and you don't necessarily have to swirl all the colors together.
I love this product so much, I already bought a few backups. I suggest you wait for the 50-60% off codes and this product will be even more worth your while and cost only 1.20 or 1.50! How amazing is that?!?
As you can see I'm quite enthusiastic about it. It's the only powder that gives me a gorgeous even skin tone and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

I put that I would not repurchase, but I really havent decided yet..
I use this as a setting powder and to touch up after lunch.
I have not used this under other powders or alone, so I cannot really comment on that. (yet)
I do find that around and on my nose it can get chalky and my pores look more visable because of it, but some buffing helps and also letting it sit as I finish the rest of my makeup seems to let it settle and stop being as chalky. I also use a some blush on my nose and lightly on my forehead which also helps..
when i retouch though, it isnt chalky.. I am assuming because I have some oil/shine on my nose by then..
overall its pretty good and i will continue to use this.

Too grey for my skin. It cancels the yellowness in my skintone. Even though this is 3 bucks, I have to return it I have no use for it.

I'm not sure what this does for my skin, if anything. In fact, it highlights dry spots on my skin and makes me look a little ashy when I apply it. It also smells kinda weird. Sort of a useless product, but I only spent $3 on it, so I'm not too heartbroken. One thing I do love about it is the huge mirror, I use it to apply my makeup in natural light.

This powder is pretty great. I use it to set my makeup, or if I'm lazy i just wear it alone.
I don't think it evens out my skin too much, but because it's transparant and doesnt turn my skin pink/orange like most powders I will probably repurchase.
Also, I LOVE the huge mirrors you get with it.. totally did not expect that when I opened my package!

I love this powder, it's my favorite powder for setting makeup. The packaging is sturdy an sleek, and the mirror alone justifies the money you spend on it, so there's not much to loose.
On to the actual product: i love that it makes my complexion more even, and it doesn't feel or look powdery at all. I put this after i apply blush, because sometimes i'm a little heavy handed and i'm not sure if my blush is too much, so i put a light dust of this powder on and not only does it tone down the blush so that i don't have to spend a lot of time blending it out, it makes it look more natural, like its my own skin that blushes that way.
I love it more than my dream matte pressed powder from maybelline, but that might be because lately i haven't been having problems with my face getting oily, so i can't really say if this powder is any good with that.

For dry skin, this product would look like you spread chalk on your face, but if you moisturize well or you have oily skin then it can do great for you. Very easy to use, just swirling a powder brush over the whole palette and buffing it onto your face will neutralize any discoloration you may have. You can even get a concealer brush and pack a little bit of color onto blemishes to fade them a bit after you cover your face. I highly recommend it for quick everyday use if you just want to even out your skin tone.

Pros:
This product did well as a finishing powder over Tinted Moisturiser or foundation.
Didn't cause flakies, and absorbed oil in the t-zone
Cons:
As for redness, under-eye it had a minimal effect and did't last long
Dirt cheap but I probably won't buy it again.
