I absolutely love the ecotools line. I was blown away by the powder brush's reasonable price, given the quality of the bristles (they're very soft); it's lovely to use. While I agree that its shape is more oval than round, I don't feel that this has affected its performance at all. I was thrilled to find a product like this at Wal-Mart, and was inspired by my satisfaction with the powder brush to buy every brush they stocked in this line. This product is one among few that shows that low price does not necessarily mean low quality.

I've had this for a few years and it just isn't full and fluffy enough. If you were to cut a cross-section of the ferrule, it would be in the shape of an oval, not round, so the brush itself is kind of flat. As large as the handle and as long as the hairs are, I'd expect this to be appropriate for applying powder, but because it isn't very full, it's better suited for applying blush. I've been using this everyday and making it work, but when I have more funds and time to research, I'll be investing in a better brush.

theres something about this brush i really wanted to like. its natural, the brush feels really soft, and its just.. pretty! idk. but the shape is not good. its too flat and flexible. i personally like a rounder brush, like the shape of a kabuki brush. a brush you have more control with. i love the ecotools retractable kabuki brush!! it is awesome and very muli-purpose.. I use it for powder, bronzer, blush everything. ecotools is a good company

I love this brush! It's incredibly soft and available at drugstores. I believe I paid around $10 for this brush.

I like Ecotool's powder brush. I reach for it when I use a true finishing powder; ie, not when I really need pigmented coverage, per se, just a dusting of powder to set. It's a good brush for the price; not super dense but quite soft (which makes it good for the dusting kind of application but not for laying down pigment). Minimal shedding. I also find Ecotools brushes really aesthetically pleasing, with their wood handle.

I have Eco brushes and I think they are great. I needed a new brush and Ecotools were my first choice to replace my powder brush. I used the brush and I am not impressed. Like all other Ecotools, this brush is of good quality, and the brush does not shed. In my opinion, it's way to small and too loose for a powder brush. I am on a budget, so I will have to use this brush because I can't replace it yet...

I've had the EcoTools blush brush for ages and I love it. It hasn't shed a single hair in the entire time I've owned it, and I use it every day. I finally decided to stop struggling with the useless powder brush I had before and replace it with this brush. It's insanely soft, environmentally friendly, cruelty free, great quality, and it was only $8 at Wal-Mart. What's not to love?

I LOVE this brush! It's perfect for setting your foundation with powder or dusting a light coat of transculent powder all over face. It is super soft and easy to clean. The handle is made of bamboo and the metal part is recycled. It's bristles are synthetic so it's vegan and animal friendly:) Great for me, the enviornment, and animals! I would highly recommend this brush!

this brush is too good! absolutely adore this powder brush :D it's soo soft and the bristles are quite dense and packed so it applies powder like a dream. the best part is that it's animal cruelty free and environmentally friendly.
:D *two thumbs up*

I love this brush for when I don't want full coverage. If you want FULL coverage, get a flat top brush from Everyday Minerals and that will do the job for $10 with the best quality bristles and handle.
Back to this Ecotools brush. I love that it's so awesomely soft. lol I've tried Sonia Kashuk and it was good but not amazingly soft like this one! I don't want to be irritating my face with a brush I use everyday. Seriously, if you're watching your spending and still want good quality, Ecotools is friggin awesome. No complaints here. =)

I got this for under $10. You can save another $0.50 if you use the coupon that comes with the brush. It's so soft and fluffy, but it takes longer than most brushes to dry. It's probably because there are so many bristles. I wish the handle was prettier, it's just a boring wooden handle that would remind you of a paintbrush. I am currently using this with the NYC Smooth Skin Pressed Face Powder. It works great with it.

Excellent brush, with the added bonus of being synthetic & eco friendly. I love the soft texture which results in a very natural application of blush - especially if you blend well. I found it to be the best blush to apply NARS blushes because it really blends out and diffuses the fine glitter to give your cheeks a natural sheen, as intended by NARS. I have used this brush for over a year and traveled with it, it does not shed or show any wear. Also, these brushes are the best value and widely available at Walgreens (though frequently sold out!!). Better than the Urban Decay blush brush.

I was dissapointed when I bought this brush. It was so loose not dense at all, yes it was soft but my bristles were too long where it seemed as if it was just not doing the job. I like soft brushes.. Who dosen't but this was just not dense and I did not like it.

I love this! What a great brush, it's sooo soft! It's so gentle on my skin.
I have had it for about a month now and no hairs have fallen out.
Very good at applying my makeup, doesn't deposit too much or too little.
I wanted to buy more Ecotools brushes for other things when I bought this, but they were all sold out, no wonder. What a great brand at a great price. $7.77 for this brush and a similar one at The Body Shop is $26.00.
It's very rare to find something that works so great and is cheap. Can't wait to buy more Ecotools!

Absolutely fantastic! I'll stay loyal to this brand after trying these brushes. Like everyone else, I can't get over the softness of the bristles. My skin is sensitive and can actually become irritated when I apply powder because of the motion or texture of my brushes. But since I've been using this I haven't experienced that irritation at all. I've washed this daily without any shedding. It picks up powder easily in one sweep too and applies everything smoothly and evenly. And one of my favorite aspects is that this comes with a travel case. I hate traveling with my brushes falling around loose in my makeup case and for some reason a lot of my high end brushes only come with a flimsy plastic envelope style case that is practically useless. I can't get over how inexpensive this is either. I also bought the 5 piece set and am completely happy with that one as well. Plus it's cruelty free. Highly recommend!

This is my first powder brush, and I have to say it does a great job. I use it to apply my Marcelle Translucent Powder, and the brush coats my face with a thin natural looking layer of it. I also used it to apply powder mineral foundation when I used it. I've had this for a few months now, and I don't think that a single hair has fallen out.

THE BEST BRUSH EVER FOR ME! I have a gold bronzer that I been having difficult time putting on. Too much be on my face with other brushes. But this Brush is perfect!!! It disperse just the right amount. The brush picks up any powder, and when you tap it, the right amount stays on the brush giving you a lightly look just like you want instead of that heavy foundation/bronzking look. This brush is perfect!! Its very soft yet it does its job incredibly well. I was mad about the price. 7.99 but Im glad I finally got it!! I dont regret it!

LOOOOVE this brush as for my use of it I have no problems. This is bottom line an amazing quality brush, silky soft, dirt cheap and a great eco friendly line, what more can you ask for. And this is my opinion after owning at least 12 different MAC brushes that I still love and use. Mainly I have been nedded a big fluffy soft powder brush purely and only for light dusting/quick sweeping of my finishing powder when going out. I already own the MAC KAbuki brush which is amazing and so soft that I use for applying my mineral foundation, in which no kabuki brush on teh planet is better to use for belnding it in fr an aribrushed finish. However the only problem about the kabuki is that it is pretty dense and stiff as far as jsut doinga quick sweep of finishing powder as it takes to long to cover my face and again drags as it is made to belend foundation only. In that I did not want to spend another $40 for a big face powder brush for my finishing powder especially after tring Macs which was not anywhere near as soft as the kabuki. Then I randomly ran across this line at Ulta and at first thought the brushes were junk because they were so cheap. But surpringly they are all amazing especially this one ! So yes if you need a harcore foundation brush for blending this deifnitely isn't for you as it doesn't pick up a lot of powder not blends it in. But for applying finishing powder or bronzers this sweeps across your face amazingly and is such high quality. SO glad I ran across this line which is the only time where cheaper has proven to be jsut as good for me. Also I even got one of their 4 brush sets and pouch for $10!! for my mom (who is a very non makeup person lol) to start her off as teh set has a babky kabuki, face powder/blush, concealer, and shadow/crease brush. And even this set of brushes are such amazing quality. Couldn't recommend EcoTools more! :) (Available at Target and Ulta btw)

I'm giving this 4 lippies even though I didn't like it and swapped it away almost immediatey. I realize it is a good quality brush and for the price it is outstanding. But it wasn't the brush I wanted. It simply didn't pick up enough product. The brush I had been using was a no name from a MMU company that was the perfect brush but it's beginning to show signs of wear and I have no idea of how to replace it. I guess I'll have to research, buy, hope I get lucky (or lose tons o' bucks), swap--the whole process for the HG MMU brush, which is critical to wonderful MMU. {BTW I might try Eco's mineral brush, which is a flat top. I'm debating.}
