I LOVE this fragrance. It is very expensive... even at the discounted websites. I am very sensitive to fragrances, and this one did not give me a headache! I really like the chocolate in this - doesn't smell like "burned" chocolate like a lot of chocolate scents do. Also, the incensy notes don't bother me (and usually incense-scents remind me of my dirty hippie friends). It reminds me of a grown up Stila Creme Bouquet - those same sweet, creamy notes are there, but "sexed up" a bit.

This is by far my favorite fragrance. At first, it is a bit strong, but it dies down and the scent is heavenly. I get compliments on it all the time. I highly recommend it.

I feel kinda "brainless" for liking the same thing a million other girls like, but it smells REALLY EXOTIC and one-of-a-kind. I think all girls would be able to wear it since it has so many notes and they are unique to each wearer. I have the .80 size which is perfect, because it squirts the perfect amount AND it will last me forever. Most of all, I love the cute bottle!

This is one of my signature fragrances. I love the chocolately/citrusy scent, and all the undertones that develop over time. The thing to keep in mind, however, is that since each individual's body chemistry can strongly affect how a scent smells on them, it's a wise idea to get a sample first before laying out the money to buy the entire bottle. Some people love it, others positively hate it. But it works great on me, and it's one of those romantic "edible" scents I like to spritz on when I feel like enticing hubby away from the computer.

A co-worker wears this and I love the way the scent stays behind when she leaves the room. Smells a little chocolatey and yummy. I tried this scent a few times but it doesn't work for me. Too strong. I wish I could handle it becasue I do like how it smells on others.

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!! I really wanted to like this scent, I really did... the bottle is so cute and I love Thierry Mugler! Too bad. I think it smells like mouldy orange juice. Disgusting.

SENSATIONAL!!! I am in love with Angel. I sprayed some on my wrist while shopping, it is simply intoxicating!!! I went back the next day and got a sample...wore it all week and am in love!!! Their scent "Innocent" is also lovely...but Angel is my fav. Trying to talk myself into forking over the dough for a real bottle! haha!

I can't stop wearing this fragrance!! It is absolutely divine! With the vanilla, caramel, patchouli scents, it is so sweet and sensual, and I just love the adorable little star shaped bottles. I bought a small sample bottle because I thought it was so cute, and immeditely went out and spent the money on the big 3.4 oz. bottle! I wear it every day and get compliments all the time. I agree that it can be a little bit overwhelming if too much is used. All of my other perfumes are gathering dust on the shelf, and will remain there indefinitely.

My personal truth is that the name "Angel" and the pretty bottle are no match for the perfume itself.

It's a nice, rich, sweet perfume, but definitely not "angelic" nor something that should come in such a blue, star-shaped bottle.

It's true how boys love this fragrance, but what if all the women started wearing it? ha ha

this is my signature fragrance. before finding angel, most perfumes made me nauseous or i just got sick of them very quickly. i have been wearing this scent for 2 years now and have no intention of ever quitting. it is a beautiful fragrance that is at once sweet and sophisticated. angel innocent on the otherhand just smells too cotton-candyesque and teenie bopperish IMO.

This smelled woodsy on a female co-worker. I admired it so much on her that she surprised me with a bottle for Christmas. I agree with Leslie P, it smells like body odor (at least when I spray it on myself), the scent tapers off into a pine scented, marshmellow type aroma. The bottle is striking though, but this is just way too strong and pungent for my taste.

Oh the horror ! Gag ! Uuurrrgh ! I so hate this one, its cloying vanilla/patchouli/whatever mixture chokes me and gives me a migraine. The absolute worst smelling fragrance I've ever come accross. Can't believe it's a best seller. Love Thierry Mugler's clothes but definitely NOT his perfume !

I absolutely hated this fragrance on me. The strong patchouli note was horrid to my nose. I couldn't wait to wash this stuff off but the smell persisted despite several hand washings! Definitely not for me.

LOVE IT!!!!! I've never received so many compliments on a cologne or perfume before! Each time I wear this men and women want to know what it is. I even had a co-worker challenge me that it wasn't the same perfume I had on the day prior. I love how it reacts differently with my body chemistry each time I wear it. Some days I get the "dessert"(chocolate, vanilla, etc..esssences), the next day the sophisticated musks and yet another can be more floral. I describe it like owning something unique to me but can be purchased by anyone. I've let friends try it on before the put out the $$ and guess what, the next day they want to know where I got it. This was the fragrance that got my husband to ask me out 8 years ago, now why would I want to trade it in!

I have a student who wears Angel, and she is the best-smelling student I have. Whenever she walks in the room, I get a burst of citrusy chocolately freshness that is, like all scents, really indescribable. So recently I swapped for some Angel of my own, and I can't wait until it comes in the mail.

I remember braving the atrociously snobbish and arrogant Sales Associates at Sak's to sample this fragrance when it first came out almost 10 years ago. I absolutely hated it! All I can think is that perhaps my 23 year old nose just did not have the sophistication to appreciate this fragrance, (which is not surprising since my signature scent at the time was Kenzo's parfum d'ete!)because now, I love this! On the initial application I got a burst of very ripe melons, plums, peaches, and tropical fruits. The patchouli reared its head quite sharply in the next phase. Angel almost lost me here, as I'm not a huge patchouli fan at all, but I held out and was rewarded with a beautifully soft, warm, smokey, and sensually honeyed vanilla fragrance. Actually, what it reminded me of most was a very mild pipe tobacco. Anyone who had a father or grandfather that indulged in the occasional pipe will tell you that the smell of pipe tobacco is a wonderfully warm, sweet, and comforting scent. Nothing like cigarettes or even cigars! In my opinion, one of the big keys to really enjoying Angel is in the application. This is a VERY powerful fragrance and it absolutely MUST be applied with a light hand! I can see why so many people find this fragrance to be overbearing. All I did was spritz one wrist and I nearly knocked myself out! Also, you have to wait for the drydown, as it is truly the best aspect of Angel. There certainly isn't any other fragrance like it!
Update: Just wore this around the hubby for the first time and got a major nod of approval! He said "I don't know what it is, but you are even more edible than ususal today!!! Oh, is this ever a keeper!

Angel is my signature scent. I suppose it's a love it or hate it fragrance, but I love it! I don't sense the patchouli as much as some and it works well with my chemistry. I also love it's staying power, which isn't overpowering on me, but lasts through the day.

I think I'm the oddball that just thinks it's okay. I don't love it, it's not the man-magnet that everyone claims it to be (my husband said it's way too strong), however it's NOT some wretched scent that smells like dirty locker room or B.O. I think it smells like some sort of unknown fruit (like one that hasn't been discovered). It's super-strong when you first put it on, but it dies down after a bit. I'm not really sure if I got a bad sample, or what (I purchased it off of ebay in the purse spray), but I do not smell anything resembling caramel, chocolate, vanilla, or patchoulli (all scents which I love).
Edited: I guess I didn't have a bad sample...this stuff makes me kinda physically ill...I smelled it on some else in the Sephora store and hated it! I'm glad this works for other people though :)
