This is my HG foundation, I switch it up between this and Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer.

Great price, great packaging for getting all the product out. I apply the foundation with my hands, sometimes with a Lancome foundation brush. It blends very easily in my skin [I wear "sand"], makes my skin look "glowy". Its perfect for winter/spring, I'm interested in seeing if it may be too heavy for summer. The only complaint is that by the end of a very long day, it looks a bit oily. But nonetheless - a great product.

i absolutely LOVE this foundation, and i've been a loyal max factor "lasting performance" user for years. the reason i decided to try this was because i'm approaching 40 and wanted to try something to minimize fine lines (which i don't have a lot of, just noticed a few in the eye area recently), which it TOTALLY does. i will admit, though, i still love my max factor so mix a little in with the clinique foundation. seems to add a little more coverage and matches my skin tone perfectly!

i don't understand the "glitter" complaints either. it's more of a dewey shimmer, which i think is fantastic! i've gotten more compliments on how "radiant" my skin looks since i've been using it as well. i'll definitely buy again!

UPDATE: although i initially fell in love with this foundation, my skin started breaking out shortly after i started using it. i still loved the way it looked, and the coverage was good – just not a good match for my skin type.

Tried a sample of this in a magazine. There is way too much shimmer. I can't imagine wearing this in public, especially in sunlight. The coverage is pretty sheer too so it's basically just all sparkle.

I feel like I've wasted 30 bucks. I swear it was because I was in a hurry for a new foundation, and I accidently ran into the most persuasive and vexatious sales woman at the bay, I just had to buy it. I really like the moisturizing, because I have unbelievably dry skin that would flake with any type of foundation. I really regret buying a darker shade, but hopefully it'll begin to match my skin tone as the summer is coming up. I'm not to happy with the coverage, because it seems like the more I put on, it's not providing any coverage, and the thicker it appears to be. I also have a big concern with the glimmer that appeared. The second time I tried it, I was startled to see so many glittery subtances left behind. I was so scared it might've been the eye shadow that I used the other night, and I tried to scrub it off.... until I checked on the web that the foundation also provided glimmer.
I'm definitely going to try another foundation!

i tried a sample of this from a magazine in ivory. And i absolutely LOVE it!!! I need to buy some this week at macys. I don't see any of the glitter that everyone is talking about. It leaves a very nice dewey finish! And a little goes a long way. Love how natural i look! Can't wait to buy the full size! :)

Super foundation. It's weird that some people complain about the glitter and others don't see any glitters. Well, I see the glitters but it doesn't bother me. I can see that this foundation isn't for older women because of that fact. But if you are young and have a good skin it's a beautiful foundation, great for summer.
I've read that people complain about the fact that it doesn't absorp, and stays wet all day, maybe it's because it is supermoisture, so not suitable for all skin types. I have dry skin and my skin absorps it very well. I powder it off with Clinique's Loose Powder and I have a skin that glows now!! It is glittery, but after I've used the powder the foundation is just great! You should really try it, but keep in mind that you check yourself in the sun!!!!

Since I have combo (in the winter) to oily (in the summer) skin, I am surprised by how much I love this foundation!

I find it works best when I use a wet Beautyblender sponge, otherwise it goes on too thick.

It is a bit shimmery, but for this non-lover of shimmer on my face, it is only a little bit. (I notice the shimmer much more on my hand than when I'm actually applying on my face).

It is blendable, matches my skin tone, covers my flaws (without being an opague mask), and best of all, gives me that DEWY look I love and have had such a hard time achieving!

I do have to blot once or twice throughout the day, but this is pretty standard for me.

Will definitely repurchase, but only in the cooler months. Too thick for warm months - I get VERY shiny.

This is more like a tinted moisturizer than foundation. Provides little to no coverage.Has glitter in it. Does not contain a sunscreen. Applies easily and smoothly to skin but since it does not cover flaws, what is the point. Also, has a very plasticky smell to it.

I got a sample of this in Ivory.

It's definitely too moisturizing for my combination skin. It's feels more like a moisturizer ( a heavy-duty one at that ) compared to a liquid foundation. Colour is the right lightness for me but it's way too pink for my warm-toned asian skin (Like the Superfit foundation that I don't even use anymore).

Glitter is too obvious.. It's distracting.

The worst thing about this is THE SMELL. I don't know if anyone else have a problem with it but I absolutely hate it. It smells plasticy and rotten... I don't know how to describe it.

Will not buy. I have had two misses with Clinique foundations.

This is my new favorite foundation for winter. I have combination skin with dry patches on my forehead and heavy shine on my nose. I usually stay away from products that use "moisture" in the title since they have a tendency to make me break out, but was looking for something to brighten up my winter skin which tends to look flakey with any type of foundation at this time of year. This foundation definitely did the trick. It blends in well with my very pale skin and looks quite natural. I now have a smooth finish but it doesn't make me break out at all. My top summer pick is "Peaches and Cream" by Tarte, but for the winter this has been a great alternative.

I really loved this until I happened to catch a glimpse of myself in the rearview mirror as I was driving east and the sun was rising. Oh.My.God. I looked like I'd been attacked by the Sparkle Fairy. (Yes, I read the reviews...but when I looked at it in my bathroom I couldn't see the smallest hint of shine, so I thought I was safe!) I actually found myself thinking, "Should I purposely drive into this telephone pole so I can call in late due to the accident but then just go home and wash my face?" Shimmer is one thing, but sequins, Clinique, are something else entirely.

This is a pretty good foundation. As others have said, it does have a shimmer to it. I wouldn't say there's "glitter" in it necessarily, but there is a shimmer akin to Jergen's shimmer glow lotion if you've ever used that. The shimmer particles are very tiny but in direct sunlight, are definitely noticeable. As a fan of all things sparkly, I really liked this aspect of the foundation. I think it will be really pretty for spring/summer, and it looks great with my Urban Decay Half Baked eyeshadow (shimmery gold tone) when I'm going for a gilded but natural look. However, if you want a truly natural matte look, this isn't the foundation for you.

The color matches me very well, and I am very pale. I got the 01 (lightest color). The price isn't bad for a foundation and it keeps my skin pretty moisturized. After a few hours you can sort of feel it on your face, but that's nothing out of the ordinary as far as foundations go. I also use Bare Escentuals powder over it to set it and add some extra SPF (like I said, I'm very pale), so this may have added to the somewhat cakey feel.

The coverage is moderate - definitely makes a difference but doesn't look like a mask. I think this would be a great spring/summer every day foundation. The tube packaging makes it easy to apply (I'm not a fan of the Clinique foundation jars where you have to bang the bottle to get any out), it blends pretty well, and looks natural enough. I think I'd repurchase.

It is very moisturizing and would be a decent winter foundation, but for 2 major problems:

1) Like other reviewers have mentioned it is SHINY, especially in the sunlight. I can't see any glitter in the tube, but my face glowed like I had halloween make up on. My husband, who has never noticed my make up before, asked why my face looked, "shiny and unnatural."

2) It sits on my skin and never absorbs, which makes it rub off easily.

I think this is more of a cream than a liquid foundation.
I like that it is medium coverage and doesn't dry to a powder. It stays creamy and fresh. It really feels like my face is retaining the moisture.
It gives my face a youthful dewy appearance and doesn't need reapplication all day. I love that it is hygienically packaged so you only use what you need, IE- Doesn't dispense heaps of product so you're left with lots on your hand etc..

I don't see any 'glitter' in my tube or on my face, so unsure if that's just a random thing relating to other reviewers.
It blends extremely well and it's definitely worth buying again. I find it works best by blending with your fingers.
It lasts me a few months per tube, and for that I am happy to pay the asking price considering I wear makeup out to work everyday and when I am out at night.

I use Clinique 'all about eyes' concealer with this foundation.

I've been trying to find the right foundation for years, and this is it! I've finally achieved that "dewey" look, and I love it! After reading the reviews on this site I was scared to try Clinque so I ended up spending a lot of money on Lumene products, which got excellent reviews. Needless to say I was very disappointed in most of them, especially the foundation. I then decided to try Clinque...after all they've been around 25 years! I'm still trying to figure out what everybody is talking about...what glitter??? Anyway, I guess it just goes to show that we all have to experiment to find what's right for us.

Wanting to branch out from my MAC Face and Body, I decided the give this foundation a shot.

I'm only 19 and I have pretty decent skin, so I usually like foundations that are light with sheer coverage, just to even me out a bit. That said, the "dewiness" of the Supermoisture makeup leaves a strange waxy look on my skin that kind of detracts from the natural "Your-skin-but-better" look I usually like to go for. Also, whenever I use this, I can definitely feel the foundation sitting on my face, which is a little gross- a problem I never had with MAC's Face and Body.

On the plus side, the color matches me decently (I was scared it wouldn't because of problems I've had with Clinique foundations before) and the microglitter is fun and age-appropriate. Overall, it's okay for now, and I'll probably continue to use it, but I won't be repurchasing.

I got a sample of this in #04 Ivory. I'd never normally use Clinique as I've been put off them after trying the terrible 3 step system years ago. However - good colour match (maybe a fraction too warm), lovely texture, nice glowy/dewy finish, smoothes on very well. Good, natural coverage w/out looking mask-like with fdtn brush. Didn't oxidise on me, colour stayed true all day. This one is genuinely moisture-rich, perfect for my dry winter skin. I wore that sample for 5 days straight, no breakouts, no clogged pores - perfect.

I was very close to thinking this could be "the one" and already planning to purchase it when I caught sight of my skin in proper daylight for the first time - oh my word, the glitter!!!! Not subtle shimmer, but substantial glitter particles randomly placed around my face. After that I couldn't wear it again. Such a shame. If they took out the glitter this would be a great fdtn for drier skins.

My (winter) skin: Chantecaille Ivory, Chanel #20, Mac NW20ish. Dry but sensitive, occasional breakouts.

I love this stuff.
I wasn't expecting much from this product at all. I have tried Clinique foundations in the past and never really liked any of them. And I've also tried some "moisturizing" foundations that did nothing for my skin.
This moisturizing foundation is what all moisturizing foundations are supposed to be. It moisturizes my skin without feeling heavy or breaking me out. This offers sheer to medium coverage. It doesn't make my flakies more obvious, which is a big plus. It doesn't irritate my skin (my skin has been noticably more sensitive in recent months, for some weird reasons...).
The package is not my fave. It comes in a squeeze tube that refuses to stand upright. But this is something I am willing to overlook given how great the product is.
I am sure I will keep reaching for this foundation in the winter months. I will definitely repurchase.

Age: 44-55   Skin: Sensitive, Fair-Medium, Neutral   Hair: Brown, Straight, Fine   Eyes: Hazel

Initially I thought this was going to be a find but as the day progressed I noticed several things with this foundation:

1. It's not all that moisturizing. After it dries it seems to go crusty on sections of my dry skin. Not a pretty look.

2. Color ivory turned orangish in no time flat. I don't know if just this color is the culprit or if all of these tend to oxidize. Not a fan of this color anyway; very unnatural looking and not a neutral ivory as proclaimed.

3. Sparkles in this do not diffuse areas of face I was trying to diffuse; instead they seemed to gather and highlight fine lines, pock marks, etc. I found my face looked better without than with this makeup; my skin is not in terrible shape but this made it look like it was.

4. If you're middle aged look elsewhere than this makeup if you're trying for a "my skin but better look." This makeup will make you look every one of your hard-earned years or at least that's what I discovered for me.

Don't get me wrong--this makeup may be just the thing for youngish combination skins or even slightly dry skin but not great for my older very dry skin with rosacea.
