Nice shimmery plummy brown. I was looking for a color like this for such a long time and SV is the right color but I'm not crazy about the finish. It's finer than frost but still v. noticeable. It's hard for me to wear this anytime but at night and for a smoky eye. It looks great paired w/ greens, purples and pinks but the super-shimmer makes it border on over-the-top. All the veluxes go on so smooth and soft, these are no exception. I use a neutral CCB under this to stop creasing. As much as I like this, I probably wouldn't buy again because I doubt I'll finish it.

Creased. Creased. Creased!! I thought the whole point of the veluxe formula was so that it does not crease.

I put on my usual mac paint base and by noon I had that nice wall of China happening right across my lid. WTF?!!

Anyways, this is the first veluxe shadow that I have had that problem with so I don't recommend it.

I love the texture of the new Veluxe shadows. Released oCt 2004 as a permanent part of the line, these are super shimmery shadows that glide on effortlessly. Last all day without creasing and very pigmented. Fantastic quality shadows that are so smooth. I thought Star violet would be a purple but Star Violet is more of a golden pinky purple shade. I guess closer to a burgandy but still somewhat purpley. Its very unique and very pretty. Comes in a pot or a pro palette pan. Nice shadow and the color is beautiful.

This is so pretty! I would describe this as a rusty nude. It goes so well with pretty much anything since the shade is rather neutral but I love using this with Plum dressing since it kind of brings out the "purple". Its a very wearable shade and not shimmery...think of a copper sheen. Very smooth, good pigmentation and definatly worth trying.

OMG! This is my favorite color of the Veluxe Pearls! It is a beautiful golden-raspberry color with a beautiful sheen that can be buffed to be even more lustrous. I can't believe how beautiful this color is. Love it!!

The veluxe pearl formula is terrific. They are very well pigmented and not shimmery. This is a very fine sheen, no glitter! Star violet is a medium depth shade. Some of us thought that it would be close to Trax in shade, but the sheen makes it more pink/golden than trax. This is hard to explain...think trax laced with a little champagne. Very pretty on my PPP redhead skin
