I absolutely love H&M. Dirt cheap prices for trendy clothes.

Love their stuff....but sadly i live in Canada so i can't get it here. Can't wait till they open one here. They need to work on their website as well. I would definitely order stuff online. XOXO

I love H&M! The first store I go to when I do my shopping. I grew up in Sweden so my mom would get lots of stuff there for me. They have tons of stuff so you can find something for every occasion pretty much. Awsome accessories too. I think the quality is good, I have shirts and sweaters from there that I have washed and washed and they look the same way as when I got them. If you follow the instructions these clothes will last, unlike some other brands that I got.(I will not name them here) but if you get a $120 sweater you kind of expect it to last and not shrink if you wash it according to instructions. It did shrink well though, looks like a tiny version of the original, which they wouldn't even take back at the store. My 11 year old sis likes it so she took it, and now she walks around at home in a very pricey sweater. Back to the point....The quality is good and affordable. The underwear is awsome as well. If you have really small breasts like me the bras will fit, and for the first time in my life I actually have a really feminine bra.

I love H&M! I think they are definitely the best store to go to for inexpensive suits--they have an amazing selection. At the store near me, they have so much it can be overwhelming, but if you spend a lot of time there, you're sure to find something you love. They also carry a lot of basics, and almost everything is at great prices.

I love H&M. It's different at every store though--has anyone else noticed that? I've been to the one in Maryland--where I live, the one in DC -- where I go to school, and the one in NY--where we have a house. I never see the same things in any of the stores. Sometimes, the prices are different, too.

Im from Sweden were it comes from so I grow up with it. They are very fast to get the latest trends. And they have really nice things. I shop most of my clothes from them. But a few times I have been dissapointed in the quality. Ok I understand that you cant get super quality for that price, but one time I hade 2 holes in a shirt that I used one time..

The clothes I really like in H&M approach prices I see in regular stores, and I find the cut of their clothes in general to be way too straight up and down to look good on me. I always end up with a HUGE envelope of extra material in the back of the waist of the pants. Also, all the pants are cut long, which is great if you are extremely tall, but I take a 33 inseam and I still get too much material pooling at the hem of their pants. Therfore, I really find no clothing bargains here. I think I did find a skirt once, and a really cool cheap fake cocktail ring I get compliments on all the time. Also they have a good, color-coded hair accesories section. I always go there, hoping to find clothing I can not do without, but I just end up getting frustrated most of the time. I have pretty much given up on the clothing at H&M. I would rate the clothing a 2 for the cheap cuts and lack of linings. Pluses are there are some cute styles and a good range of sizes. They also sell undies, and sleepwear. Their accessories are worth a walk-through if I am in the mall, so I give the place a 3. In general, I have better luck at Marchall's for inexpensive clothes.

I totally agree! H&M is the greatest store for bargains but it doesn't look as cheap as it is, if you get my drift. Great fashion and also great for basics (tee-shirts, etc.). It is overwhelming and they carry a ton of clothes so it takes time to look through it all but I always get great stuff for very little $.

I started this topic because I want to see what you guys have to say about H&M in general. I must say that I nearly have an anxiety attack every time I go there (so much stuff, a little overwhelming). You really have to be careful and pick through their items, but there is often a gem just waiting to be found. And they are cheap cheap cheap - so one can stay with the trends. UPDATE: after reading the more current reviews, I have to say that I agree with some of them. Some of H&M's stuff looks cheap. You have to be very discriminating as to what you buy. Some of the stuff just looks like crap, but like I said earlier, there are gems waiting to be found. I got a pair of super soft, baggy, light weight jeans and a sparkly top in a bronze color that I adore. I don't think they're good for basics. Their t-shirts look awful. You can mix and match their stuff with pricier items. My sparkly top underneath a suit jacket. I still find their items more exciting than most stores out there. And since I'm a broke student, "investing" in more expensive duds is out of the question. You just have to be creative enough to pull their stuff off. I honeslty think that some women can make any outfit look cheap - even is they spent tons of $$ on it. Look at Mariah Carey, Paris Hilton, Tara Reid - to name a few. Paris Hilton makes her haute couture look like the crap at Pay/Half Stores!
