This does a good job at reducing shine but since I have dryish skin it doesn't really matter that much to me. It's not really good for preventing breakouts compared with other drugstore toners that I have used. However, it does make my skin feel very clean and it is also less harsh on my sensitive skin.

I love this stuff! Since I've substituted it for other toners, the number of breakouts I've had has dropped dramatically. I've read in most of the beauty magazines that you don't need toner and that anything that you see on a cottonball after using toner is just a mirage, but in my case that's all wrong. This stuff is strong and gets the deep-down goop out of my pores. It tingles a little, but never stings. Plus you get a good amount for your money. Will continue to buy.

i have found my HG of drugstore toners! im usually an estee lauder/bliss toner girl, but since im saving money for grad school, i decided to give this a try. for about $5, this toner promises to do three things: unclog and tighten pores, reduce surface shine, and prevent blackheads and blemishes. i dont know about the first, but it does definitely reduce shine on my oily/combination face. i usually dont break out in general, but this has helped to prevent the tiny little zits that sometimes pop up out of nowhere. it has even helped to clear up the acne i have now! i knocked off a lippie because the smell leaves something to be desired: its a bit alcoholic and harsh. the hole in the cap that dispenses the liquid is also a bit too big, so you have to be careful when pouring it out on a cotton pad. snice this has salicylic acid in it, i only use it once a day in the morning before i moisturize, and so far, im very happy with what i see.

I love this! It picks up the last traces of oil, dirt and makeup that cleanser leaves behind. It doesn't overdry my face. I have noticed a decline in the number of pimples and the amount of times I have broken out. I love the cooling/tingling sensation. The packaging is great. This is a great toner!

I love this product! This toner is the one and it totally cleared my white heads on my nose. This toner cleared my acne and I have been getting a lot of compliments on my skin.

LOVE this product! The smell is really nice and I love the cooling action it leaves on your face! It makes it really seem like it is working! The best part is it took off dirt and makeup that my cleanser didn't get and I have noticed my pores appear smaller. This is a great addition to my skin care lineup!

I think this product works pretty well. I can tell that it removes a lot of oily residue. I also enjoy the cooling feelings that it gives me. Overall, I'm not too sure how much better this product is over other toner products. They all seem to work exactly alike.

I started using this 3 days ago, and I'm loving it more each day. I really like the cool tingly feeling left behind. It also smells pretty yummy for a toner, I was quite surprised. Seems to pick up a good amount of dirt from my face that my gentle cleanser leaves behind. My skin feels soft, and not at all dried out. My pores definitely seem smaller, and my blemishes are slowly going away, and I have not had any new breakouts. Unfortunately, the price and packaging suck. $12.99 (Canadian), and the liquid goes everywhere when you try to pour it onto the pad. Very annoying. AND I missed the sale! The day after I bought it, went on sale for $3 cheaper!! URGH! Which I feel is a more reasonable price then what I had payed. I have not noticed an improvement with blackheads, which is sad cuz nothing seems to be working lately. Also, its helped control shine a bit too. My skin looks generally healthier, and I think this astringent has alot to do with it.

Excellent to use in 'oilier' portions of one's face ... mainly T-Zone - anywhere else would be overly drying.
I am pleased with the product.

Overall...I am not sure about this product yet. I have been using it for two days only, and I'm scared, because it seems like my pores are larger on my cheeks after using this. I don't know if its actually that Biore Astringent is making them larger, or just making them look red. It's not very obvious though.
Overall, I have great skin (I dont want to jinx myself). I don't break out or anything really, I just have lots of blackheads on my nose, and large pores on the top part of my cheeks.
I am not sure if alcohol is good to use in astringents, so I don't know if I should keep using this for a long time. I might just finish the bottle.
smells yummy though!

I'm really liking this astringent. It feels all nice and cool when I apply it, but it doesn't dry out my skin and turn it red like the Clinique Clarifying Lotion does. And I agree with the previous review, the smell is wonderful! And salicylic acid works to keep my acne at bay.

I picked this up on Sunday after being mostly impressed with Biore's new Pore Perfect line. I didn't have to pay $7.50 at CVS, I had to pay $5.99 plus I had a $1.00 off coupon so it was a good steal!
I've only been using this for a couple days after I dumped my Pro Activ "Revitalizing Toner" and I love how fresh and alive my skin feels after I use it. It feels cool and I can actually feel how tight my face feels. It contains 2% Salicylic Acid, so it's going to clear breakouts up. It smells good too!
