Worst product I've ever tried. I'm not sure if I got a weird defective one but it had the consistency of like dry mud. It's impossible to apply without weird dry pieces rolling off your face, it was like trying to apply clay to my skin. Most awful product ever and I threw it out right away. Terrible.

Made me orange, it makes you look very patchy, oily feeling as soon as you put it on and it made me break out really bad. I will never buy this again

The best foundation! I bought this a few years ago and then when it ran out I looked around at a other brands - like Rimmel, l'oreal, max factor - and have come back to this in the last few months. It does everything you want a foundation to do - it covers all my pimples and blemishes, evens out my skin tone and is incredibly light weight! As a bonus it lasts for quite a long time and it isnt that expensive! Will be buying this for years to come.

I normally use Revlon Colorstay foundation but my mom went out and bought it for me and picked up the wrong foundation..which happened to be dream matte mousse. I have this foundation in Nude (Light 4) and it goes with my combination of yellow/pink undertones pretty well. To apply i just press my fingers into the product and smooth over my skin, it has decent coverage, my skin but better kind of coverage. It makes my skin look and feel soo soft. It blends amazingly. I will probably use this when I don't feel like fussing with my revlon colorstay foundation.
Pros:
Blendable
Buildable coverage
Smooth and soft
Good color match
Light on skin
Cons:
Packaging is pretty heavy

I love this product, my favorite foundation yet.
I bought this about a week and a half ago and I LOVE it. All my other foundations I've tried don't have the greatest coverage, and this one is perfect. It covers all imperfections up but isn't too much too look cakey. It goes on really smooth and light and lasts on my face for a while. The color matches my skin tone perfectly. The last foundation I bought made my face extremely oily and it broke out like crazy but this one hasn't done either at all!
I 100% would recommend this product to anyone.
Pros: covers perfectly
good color matching
smooth
light feeling
lasts for a while
doesn't smell bad
Cons: packaging isn't ideal

I have combination skin, pale with cool undertones, and decided to try this makeup. It felt all right, but by the end of the day, I had very noticeable lines around my mouth and eyes and even my T-zone was extremely dry. Also, even the lightest colors were too dark for me, so if you have very pale skin this is going to look like you're wearing a mask.

I've been using this since it came out and never thought to buy any other foundation since! It's got great staying power, it's creamy and smooth and just the right colour... for me. I've noticed that for people that are more tan, the colours have a serious orange tint, so I recommend to be cautious if buying this product and you've got tan skin.

At first, i was in love with this product, it was matte (so no need for powder) and it gave me the perfect coverage, but after a while of using it, it felt heavy on my skin, so instead of feeling confident i felt ugly cause i constantly felt like i had 1 kg of makeup on my face, it was very uncomfortable..
Pros: Great Packing
Smooth
Build-able Coverage
Cons: Smells Bad
Dosent Blend Well
Heavy On The Skin
Weird Colour Variety
If over applied, you will eventually look like a doll
Overall: I only use this when i get a little tanned, i like to use this only for 2 reasons, i like the dewy finish and that it will keep your face matt the whole day..and it will eventually blend very well in your skin tone if its a little lighter, like 1 degree, so it will look like your skin..

At first application I thought this product was great. Hours later I found that the dry parts of my face (by my eyebrows) started to flake up! I also noticed that it looked like I was wearing a fake mask and I was uncomfortable wearing this because it would rub off too easily. It covered my red spots and uneven skin tone. It didn't really cover up my blemishes though. I will not be buying this again.

I used to love this foundation when I first started using make-up from a place other than the dollar general. But as I got more experienced with make-up, I realized this foundation just did not do it for me. It does not provide enough coverage, it dries out my face, and it breaks me out! It does not last very long on your face or even in the container. I love maybelline products, but this disappoints me

Great coverage and decent staying power. I use moisturizer before I apply this and it blends very smoothly and matches my skin perfectly. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone with oily skin because it has a very creamy consistency and might cause breakouts.

I bought this when it was brand new because the texture on the commercials looked amazing. But the texture was different. It was not a liquidy as i thought it would be it's kinda on the verge of a dry liquid/powder, and is JUST moist enough to be a mousse. I honestly did not know how to approach this product. So I just scooped it onto my skin and blended. It beaded up and was horrible for caking, especially on my oily/ dry skin. I tried a foundation brush but it still was horrible. It wasn't until recently I pulled it out and gave it another shot. This time thought I would try a moist makeup sponge. I patted the makeup sponge in the container (not scooped) and sure enough I liked it. It kept me matte all day and didn't seem to cake up on my skin as badly. It got rid of my red area's, had good pigmentation but you didn't need to use very much product, I love how this product lets my real skin shine through while keeping a matte finish. I would recommend this to oily skin types who need light to medium coverage. The only bone I still have to pick with this product is that I have the lightest shade and although I am pale, I am not extremely pale. I love when I you go back to a product and it actually works!

This foundation isn't good for us who have dry skin. It gets cakey and it looks like a mask on your face. Not buying this again.

I have 010 Ivory and I love this foundation. It gives me fairly good coverage, is well pigmented and glides on smoothly and feels light and comfortable on. It does not seem to be caky and blends well for me.

Um, no. I got it thinking it would be perfect - that I could get beautiful, matte, smooth skin just like the model in the magazine ad. Well, all I got was a cakey, grainy-up-close, mask-like finish. it is kind of like concealer, but for your whole face. But I will give it this though, it covered up ALL my acne scars, everything. I was ready to go out one night with my boyfriend when I told him I would be right back because I forgot to put on my makeup. When I came out wearing this stuff, he told me I just looked better with a bare face. So, that pretty much motivated me to stop wearing it, lol.

The benefit one is good but for some reason i love this more, it stays on pretty much all day, and i love the coverage! i apply with a clinique foundation brush and i love it!! as for people saying it comes of easily i just dab on lightly some powder and find it pretty much stays there it is defiantly a matt finish and i will buy it again!

I have finally found my HG foundation! I have oily skin and a really bad T-zone, so I have always had trouble finding the right foundation. I read an article online saying that people with oily skin should try a mousse instead of liquid/powder foundation. I didn't want to shell out a bunch of money for something that I was just going to try, so I opted for the Dream Matte Mousse. Some people complain that the pot packaging is unhygienic, but I don't mind it at all. When I first opened the mousse, I was slightly alarmed that the mousse was a lot darker than when viewed from the outside. But once I applied it, it was fine and matched my skin perfectly. Overall the mousse is slightly drying, but after the natural oils in your skin start to come out a little, it's fine and gives your face a very slight glow. I usually just use some oil blotting sheets to get rid of the shine though. Overall, it definitely leaves my face matte (it actually helped control the oil) and the coverage is medium. The mousse also has great staying power and stays on all day. I will definitely keep using this!
