I like this product well enough and would repurchase, but it really didn't blow me away & I am sure there are even better products out there. The bottle instructions tell you to squeeze it on for 15 seconds, then push back cuticles, then wash off. The instructions specifically tell you not to leave it on for more than 1 minute.

I did that on dry finger cuticles (I have VERY thick cuticles and leave a lot of dead cuticles) and I still had some dead cuticles left over, so I had to do a repeat application, this time for a full minute. It helped much better, although I found that this gel also weakens your nails so that your metal cuticle remover might scratch the nail.

Similarly, on the toes, I left it on for a full 3 minutes before pushing cuticles back, and even then I had some traces of dead cuticles/debris left and had to repeat application. This product supposedly works on callouses too, but it only works for thin callouses - for thicker callouses (eg if you wear stilettos) this will give you a quick start by softening the first few layers of dead skin which you could rasp off, but you will still need a callous shaver/rasp for the rest of the job.

Like I said, this is a good enough product which works even for ultra thick cuticles and thin callouses - although after using Cuccio's Apple Cuticle Remover with AHA, I really wasn't blown away. However, this is far cheaper than Cuccio - 1/2 of the price - so I guess you get what you pay for.

Wow, I have recently acquired some heavy duty cuticle problems on my toenails, I bought everything expensive I could find and a cuticle snippers, nothing even phased them, this stuff did it in 30 seconds! It also removes callouses but I didn't go there yet!

Love this stuff. I've always had those thick, fast-growing cuticles that I had to fight to keep back and had to trim which is bad for your nails. Now, I just draw a line along the cuticle, wait a minute, push the cuticle back very slightly and scrub with a soft nail brush and, voila, no cuticles! My nails look professionally maintained now without the pain and damage. Dripping/squeazing it out of the bottle doesn't thrill me but I will definitely stock-up on this stuff just in case they stop making it!

Ok this is one product that actually does what it says its going to do. The first time I used this I guess I didn't know what I was doing cause it didn't do anything, the other day when i used it, after i washed it off I rubbed my cuticles w/ a washcloth and wow, the unwanted cuticles just rubbed right off, it was amazing. i LOVE this product. I am using it once every week or once every 2 weeks, i will never be with out this prduct, thank you Sally Hansen!!!!

The best I've ever used and I've tried them all. No soaking necessary, which I really like, because soaking seems to weaken my already rather fragile nails. The squeeze bottle applicator is great and I love that it's a gel - it stays right where you put it, no dripping. 15 seconds, push 'em back, scrub with warm soapy water and you're good to go. I'll definitely repurchase. A great product.

I have really out-of-control cuticles. They get pretty ugly very fast. Nothing I've tried has been effective until I tried this product. It really, really works. I was impressed, especially considering the price. I't even worked on my toenails. Now I have pretty feet and hands again. Yippee!

This is a fast acting remover, way better than any I've ever used. You can even use it on calluses and hardened skin with great results. Comes in a handy dropper bottle for easy application.

This stuff is awesome! I just put some on my cuticles, wait the 15 seconds, and push my cuticles back scraping off the excess skin on my nails. It works fast and makes my hands look so well groomed. I try not to use it more than once a week because any more than that, and my cuticles get prone to rips and tears. Great stuff at an great price. I don't think it was more than $5 or $6. One bottle last so long!

I used this product b/c I've been having cuticle issues, and it did get rid of some of that awful cuticle overgrowth on my nails! It stung really badly on a hangnail that I had picked too much at, so don't get it near torn hangnails. This is definitely a product I will be adding to my weekly manicure. I'll try it on my toes next (v. bad cuticles on my pinkie toes).

My skin was sooo dry I couldn't even push back my cuticles without them tearing and bleeding...
I saw this mentioned on the Nailcare Board and bought it for under 4dollars...

I worked like a miracle...I have been using it once or twice a week and my cuticles haven't looked this good in years..

Will repurchase until the end of time!!!!

This is an awesome product! I have tried two other Sally Hansen cuticle remover gels/creams, and wasn't very impressed. I had never seen this one, until the other day I stopped at Rite-Aid and found this as I was perusing the nail care aisle.

I've only used it once so far, but I'm impressed with this. It does what it says it will do - removes dry cuticles instantly. I applied it to each nail, waited one minute, and wiped it off with a damp washcloth. No more dry, scraggly cuticles!

Lo & behold, it actually does what it says it will -- removes cuticles instantly. I like to apply it, then use a soapy nail brush to remove. Works like a charm.

This product lives up to its name. It did an excellent job of removing my cuticles--even though they are hard and thick (plus there's lots of them). I just applied the product and then went back with an orangewood stick and the cuticles just rubbed off. Cuticle care is a key step in any manicure and this product does a great job. I will definitely repurchase if I ever run out.

It seems like whenever I try a new Sally Hansen product, I either love it or hate it. This one, I love. It's a clear gel that comes in a small 1 oz. nozzle-tipped bottle. I apply a little of it to each of my cuticles, then immediately begin pushing them back with an orange stick, starting with the first nail I applied the gel to. It takes me only about a minute or two to do all 10, then I wash the gel off right away with soap & water. My cuticles are almost perfect! Maybe a stray edge here or there that I have to nip off, but that's about it. This stuff is a real timesaver for me. I LOVE giving myself manicures & almost never have my nails unpolished, but I don't have a lot of time. I have two preschool-aged kids, plus I work out of my house part time, so I'm always looking for timesaver products. I don't have the time to be sitting around with a cuticle cream on for 5 or 10 minutes. This does the job well, & really does do it almost instantly!
