I really put off buying Paradisco for a while because I had heard that it had a poor color pay off and was gritty. I'm sorry I waited so long. I really, really like Paradisco. It's absolutely gorgeous in the pan, and I think the trick to duplicating that same vibrant color on your lids is to use a shadestick underneath. I use Beige-ing, which is a neutral that will work well with pretty much any shadow, but a MAC MA showed me Paradisco layered over MangoMix and the effect was a *very* vibrant Paradisco. Just food for thought. So to all of you who love Paradisco in the pan but don't get the same effect on the lid, try pairing it with a shadestick! Anyway, back to Paradisco itself. The color on my lids is a goldish/peachy slightly pink color. I used it in the crease with Arena on the lid and Naked Lunch below the brow and I think it may be one of my new favorite looks. I will definitely repurchase.

Paradisco is a very pretty coral with gold shimmer. It's a frost finish, so it goes on smoothly, and it also shows up pretty well on my PPP skin. This color is also gorgeous as a blush. I mostly use it with other gold and peach tones like Gleam and Say Yeah but I can imagine it would go well with other tones too.

The last time I visited a MAC counter, I asked them for a recommendation on a brow-bone highlighter and was given this one. I already had a couple of highlighters already, but there was always something missing with them. Enter Paradisco. In the container it looks so bright - like a peachy-pink with orangey undertones. But on my NC55 skin, it turns into such a beautiful soft golden color that looks far more natural than any other browbone highlighter I've used thus far. Looks nothing like I thought it would judging by the color in the container. I highly recommend this for other DDDs. The only downside to this is that it IS hard to load this color onto your makeup brush. If it had a bit more of a velvety texture, this would be HG. But I can't stand having to scrape to get a bit of product, thus the rating of 4.

As everyone else has said, it's a coral/peachy color. Gorgeous in the pot, semi gorgeous on the lids. Reminds me of a sunset color. It did take about three dips with the brush to get a good color payoff and I'm a PPP. It's not WOW, OMG, AMAZING! But it's nice and I'll find a good use for it.

At this point I would be very unlikely to purchase this color again. Yes, it is very pretty in the pot. It looks good with my blue-green eyes. However, as one user already wrote, you do have to "pack it on" if you want it to show up. I have light skin so nearly everything looks "too dark" if I apply more than one coat. This i had to apply three before I got the effect I was expecting from the first swipe based on other MAC eyeshadows I've used.

That being said, I did really like it paired with Expensive Pink. Especially since it's a frost and adds a nice contrast to the consistency of Expensive Pink. But I just can't see wearing it alone - it's that sheer. I will find some good uses for it, and who knows, I may fall in love with it like other users have and decide to switch my rating to "Yes, I would buy this product again." But that remains to be seen at this point.

My recommendation: Use this if you're out there for a first eyeshadow color, but if you want COLOR it's not a "must have". Honestly I have no idea what it would look like on skin tones other than fair. I'd be a little worried about it showing up. But who knows, maybe it would show up more. Try it at the counter first unless you can get it for cheaper elsewhere or something.

OMG I love Paradisco!!!! I got this shade just 4 months ago ...in August, and already i'm on my 2nd pot! I'm a C6 and this shows up on me just fine. It's a sheer coral with sublte golden shimmer...a very versatile shadow that can be paired/mixed with a variety of other colors, but I mostly use this with goldens and bronzes. This doesn't make me look tired or like i've been crying in the slightest....it's actually quite an eye-popping color. i love love love love LOVE this eyeshadow, MAC if you happen to reading this review....please don't ever discontinue this gorgeous shade!!! <3

I love the color! It looks great with my skin tone and makes my blue eyes bluer! The color looks great with pinks and oranges. I highly recomend this product, paticularly if you have blue eyes, and I would definately buy this as soon as I run out.

Looked scary when the MA overapplied it, but otherwise it is a lovely frosted peach color. Goes nicely as a lid color, with a medium brown in the crease (like Soba). I have no problem getting it to show up on me, as long as I use a primer (which I always do). I'd buy this color again.

Everything's pretty much been said already...but it really does go on sheer (in a good way) and is beautiful. I reach for this 5/7 days a week. I have a medium neutral-warm complextion with brown eyes and red-brown hair. UPDATE: I still love this, but don't reach for it quite as often now that I'm FFF. Still pretty on, though.

This color looked so pretty in pan, but did not show up on me at all! If you're thinking about buying this, you should go see it in real life. I'd imagine it'd look very nice on other skin tones though.

Paradisco is a shimmery peachy-pink that looks alarmingly vibrant in the pan, but softer on the lids. I'm blonde and pale with yellow undertones, and this color makes my dark blue-grey eyes pop. Although it's more subtle than the color in the pan would suggest, I haven't had any problem having this color show up on my lids, and I find it easy to build up a bit if I want a more pigmented look. I'm new to Mac eye shadows, so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I have noticed the slight 'crusting' in the pan that other members have mentioned. It doesn't interfere with application, though, and Ive had it for a year. (I bought it on a whim at a make-up counter and then forgot about it for a long time--I'm so glad I have it now!) I haven't experimented with it much, so I've mostly used it as a base/crease color (built up) with MAC Phloof! as a highlighter (and perhaps a brown to accentuate the crease). It blends easily, although it's more high-end than most of the eyeshadows I've used in the past. I've found it to be a very wearable and fun color and I would probably buy another if I ever ran out of this one....if I had the money. I think it cost me $USD13.50...?

Paradisco is a very pretty peachy-coral with shimmer. It does have a slight orange undertone but isn't garish enough to be bad-looking on my lids. I've found this to be pigmented and it does show up. However, like other reviewers, I've also noticed how it "crusts up" easily in the pan, which is weird. I love to pair this with Melon on the lid and Paradisco in the crease or Paradisco on the lid paired with smokey browns and golden olives. Nice!

I was a little put off by this color in the pot, but once on WOW. Can be worn alone or combined. Very hard to describe. This is a peachy color on my C2 skin, but can be altered with the use of paints or other eyeshadows with a base if desired. I like to wear it with Nylon or with Expensive Pink.

At first I was a little put off by the color, peachy-pink, in the pot it seemed nice but when I applied it to my lids I barely noticed it. Ok so I decided to give it another try, first applied Portraiture paint, then paradisco on the entire lid, and aquadisiac on the outer V and wow!!! Now I can see Paradisco does show up and looks great paired with other green or blue shades (Tilt comes to mind). If I ever run out I will buy it again.

This is hands down my favorite MAC eyeshadow ever. I love it because of its warm pinkish coral tone and it can be altered according to the color base you wear under it. Also looks amazing wet. Beautiful on green eyes and tan skin :)
