The best drug store foundation out there, I have combo skin – oily T zone with regular cheeks etc. I have found that I can wear this over sunblock without powder and I still don’t get shine after 8 hours!!! It’s fantastic. The price is reasonable. My only major complaint is that is does not come in shade light enough for my skin I’m very pale with yellow undertones and buff is only good on my skin when I’m using fake tanner during the spring and summer months. Too bad I would buy it all year long if I could match it too my skin during the winter. (Used to be a MAC C1 before it was discontinued, and tried L’Oreal ColourMatch in W1, also a great match but that caused me to break out :( )

I have oily and sensitive skin. Tried many foundations over the years, many of them expensive, and most would look good when I first put it on, but after a few hours would disappear. This is the first foundation I have found that lasts for the whole day and still looks good. There are several colorsaty foundations available but this one is my favorite. The color looks so natural. I use "nude" for the winter and a beige for the summer. Highly recommend for any one with oily skin. It doesn't cake and goes on smooth and blends well. Doesn't break out my face.

Revlon ColorStay Natural is the best low-end foundation I've ever tried, which is saying something, believe me! I have combination/oily, sensitive, acne-prone skin and tend to use this foundation when my skin is at its worst (i.e. a hormononal warzone) as the coverage is medium and it covers imperfections very well and lasts all day. However, it always looks natural, so definitely lives up to its title's claims on both counts! It's also very easy to remove with a regular cleanser, unlike its awful predecessor - the regular ColorStay foundation. Ugh, bad memories! Lastly, I find that "Buff" is an excellent match for my PPP/LLL NC20 skintone.

i really liked this product but only because it was the closest drugstore makeup color i could find (asian -- buff). the weird thing about this product is it looks natural but you can tell i have makeup on, so it's really not natural looking...if that makes any sense. but then again, i've had ten years of acne and acne scarring so i tend to need more for coverage. if it wasn't for the color, i wouldn't have purchased it four times in a row. but overall, i wouldn't buy this again because i recently tested it with brown paper and it has TONS OF OIL and GLITTER! i posted this on the message board and they said it wasn't really oily but silicone. either way: yuck, can't believe i've been putting this on my face. no more!

This foundation is my holy grail. I keep coming back to it because it makes my skin look flawless, controls the oily shine, and never never breaks me out. I was so suprised to see that it doesn't have a higher overall rating, because it's the best thing I've found, and I've tried tons of foundations, both high and low end. This is a beautiful foundation for combo, oily skin. Many foundaions break my skin out, and I can always count on this one. It also lasts all day, I love the pump dispenser, and the color match is right on. I keep buying it over and over. Love.

Love the packaging w/ the pump, I got just the right amount of foundation needed at once. The texture was good but even though I had the lightest color available in Sweden it was just too dark. I'll buy it again if I'll find a better color.

i like the pump system, hygenic and i pump is enough for one application.it still looks a bit heavy for my taste even applied lightly, so i mix it with a moisturizer or other other light foundations. it controls oil for 4hrs on me, which is better than most other ones out there. although my skin gets oily, the foundation stays, which is good. it oxidizes a bit towards the end of day and looks a bit caky sometimes. if u have flakes, it'll accentrate that and same goes for enlarged pores. but i still like it. the color selection is not that great.i have it in nude which is a bit dark for me now. and in summer time when i get a tan, it's a tad 2 light again. but overall i like it.
if u can find the right shade and exfoliate ur skin regularly and is an oily gal like me, then u should give it a try

Very pleased! This coming from a self-proclaimed foundation junkie is surprising ;). Firstly, Ivory was just a bit too pink for my skin, and Buff (the next shade) far too dark, otherwise I had no issues. I purchased the foundation anyway, and I'm honestly glad I had. It smooths onto skin with ease and is easy to blend (great considering it's oil free.) It gave me medium coverage and certainly covered imperfections without looking ghostly. The finish was matt, which controlled oil breakthroughs with great ease, though this is more of a winter foundation I'm quite sure. And best of all - it stayed PUTT! No smudging, it just didn't wear off, amazing. Finally, a product that delivers what it claims. I'll definitely buy this again! An amazing foundation with a fair pricetag :).

I bought this product based on the reviews here, and I'm glad I gave it a try. Although it's not my HG foundation, there are many positives about it. I found a nearly perfect yellow based colour match in the line (buff - I'm NC30 in MAC), and it blended nicely on my skin. The trick is to apply onto well moisturized skin and work in broad quick strokes. It also takes time to set on the skin before it looks ok, and once it's set with powder, the coverage does last all day. The coverage is natural and feels a bit tacky to the touch, but it's not sticky or shiny. I was a bit concerned that there seemed to be sparkles in the product (could it be the SPF in the product?), but once it's one my face, I don't notice any sparkles at all. I don't find it to be too difficult to wash off, I just have to be diligent about washing my face thoroughly - and follow with a good toner. I really like the pump bottle - I wish all foundations came like this! One thing I do not like about this product is its smell - it reminds me of lipsticks or some sort of wax. I would definitely repurchase this.

When i bought this foundation i didn't know what to think , but it turned to be a perfect match for my MMM skin (medium beige), so i was very happy. It gives a nice, always matte coverage, but i wouldn't recommend it for people with acne or something that needs heavy coverage, it's moderate.
It dries the skin a little bit, but it's worth it because of the price, and the packaging is perfect, very comfortable.I will definitely buy it again!

Wow. I was completely loyal to Revlon Even Out tinted moisturizer, which of course is discontinued. I decided to try Revlon again b/c the color match with Even Out was so good--figured they had the yellow based thing down.
At first I didn't like this--kinda left a film on my hand when I dispensed it into my palm to apply with sponge. But I love it now. The coverage is great--covers well, but doesn't look masklike. Most of all, I like how it feels--my pores don't feel covered--it really feels like I have nothing on. It definitely stays all day--no slipping off, no color change. I have very splotchy skin and it really evens it out.
I have Sand Beige, and I'm fair-med, yellow toned, prone to splotchiness. I get itchy really easily from makeup but not from this.
I have lately been using a couple pumps of this with one pump of Skinlights in "natural light", mixing it, and using all over. Seems to work great. Very nice, natural, look, great coverage. Highly recommend, even though it's $$$ for drugstore. But Osco seems to have 40% off all Revlon fairly regularly.

This foundation is exactly what I have been looking for....for years! ColorStay Stay Natural foundation lasts all day, and gives me ZERO shine. I have combo-acne prone skin (but more oily than dry) and this does not break me out. I was blown away by the coverage, it can be medium or full coverage. I apply with a foundation brush and love the results I get. I wound up getting Buff (the 2nd lightest color) which was a perfect match for me (I am LLL, NW20). I Paid $11.99 at Walgreens. I will definitely purchase again!

I got this in Buff in a swap, really really like this. my skin is combo (oily nose but wrinkles under the eye area) but it seems to work fine with a moisturizer underneath. The color blends well too.

i generally wear MAC hyper real NC200 foundation or gerda spillmann biofond foundation in birch.

i am 40 years old. my skin is very oily in the t-zone, dry on the cheeks. i also use retin-a.

retin-a really reddens and dries out the skin, while also increasing the need for sunscreen, which is why i've taken to wearing these foundations.

the problem of course is that these foundations tend to melt away after only 4 hours. after much hesitation, i decided to try the revlon colorstay natural line.

i went to the revlon website and used their shade finder to come up with a recommended color: buff. it's not as exact as i would like, but it's fairly close. this product range needs more colors, no doubt.

the revlon colorstay natural does stay for 8 hours of office work, offering a slightly dewy, natural finish.

unless you have a good moisturizer/eye cream underneath, it will creep into your smile lines and crinkles a bit, however. so don't neglect that.

the pump bottle is easy to use and one pump is enough for your face; a second for your neck. surprisingly for a drug store product, it has a nice texture, as good as most department store brands.

the foundation dries quickly, but not so fast you can't blend it.

i blotted my oily chin throughout the day with the gray MAC blotter tissues. that took care of the oil issue for me.

an interesting thing about this product is that whatever you put on top of it holds super-fast. thus my usual creme-gel blush went on more intensely and really lasted all day at the same brightness.

likewise for my cream eyeshadow. i put a little of the foundation on my eyelids and the shadow clung very well.

the product removes easily with the MAC makeup removing tissues. i just wiped my face and it was all gone. however, my neck requires a second tissue, but this is normal, the same with my regular foundation.

i would say that this gives a light to medium coverage and that if they increased the range of shades, this product would be a triumph.

my biggest complaint is the lack of instructions with the foundation. some transfer-proof products tell you how to use them: i wasn't sure at first if this could be put on top of retin-a, or on top of moisturizer, etc.

but it does cover the redness, it has the spf 15 i need, and it doesn't seem to irritate the skin. retin-a does make your skin a little more sensitive, so this was a worry for me.

I have too many foundations! But now I have thrown them all away and left my self with MAC Studiofix Powder Plus Foundation (NC43), L'oreal Cashmere Perfect (Golden Amber), Revlon Colorstay (Rich Tan) and Revlon Colorstay Natural (Natural Tan). I am happy with all those products but now I will review Revlon Colorstay Natural. When I found out that the stores in Switzerland have discontinued supplying Rich Tan (no.12), I tried Color Stay Natural in Natural Tan (No.9) because the shades look the same in the bottle. It turned out that actually the Natural Tan in Revlon Colorstay Natural in a shade darker than the Rich tan in the normal Revlon Colorstay. Go figure! But I do like Revlon Colorstay Natural better than the normal Colorstay. The shade matches my skin perfectly and it leaves a natural look on my complexion. It's huge bottle too. Usually, Colorstay last a bit more than 7 months and I wear it twice a day 7 days a week after shower. As it claims, it really last long on your skin too, from morning until you take it off. One of my holy grail foundation!

I'm amazed at how low a rating this product has! I normally use Stila but needed something darker to match my self tanner colour for a photoshoot. I didn't want to spend $70CAD for my usual brand just for the one use, so I picked up a mini/sample tube of the ColorStay Stay Natural at Target. AWESOME stuff! It offers good coverage without being too heavy, stays put, mixes nicely with a lotion if you want a thinner base. It evened out my skin and completely disguised my slightly reddish area around my nose (mild rosacea) without having to be packed on. I went back and bought a full size bottle of this.

I am blonde with blue eyes and slightly pink undertones and Natural Beige is the perfect color for my skin. Great pump bottle, great coverage and staying power too. I do apply and blend it fast, but I do everything fast in the mornings!

Lots of Lippies off because it is so hard to remove - a gripe everyone seems to have. My cleanser would not foam up when I washed my face, it just sat there slimy-like, yuck.

I've been using this product for a few months and I only wish I tried it earlier. I really like the pump bottle, it makes things less messy. If you have oily skin or you like an ultra-matte look, this product is perfect. It controlled my oily skin unlike many products I've tired. "Ivory" is not a perfect colour match for me, but when I blend it with translucent powder it is near perfect.
