I had high hopes trying this out, but it made my oily, large-pore skin look like it was dressed for an alien ball. It emphasized each and every pore and the "frosted" finish was simply laughable for daytime. Awful!

Wow this is illuminating alright. When I wear this by itself I look like a shiny alien but when I mix this with a matte TM, it looks great. Real SPF, complete so can be relied on. Colors great, price a tad high. Wish I loved it totally but it works for me with a little mixing.

Overall, this is a good tinted moisturizer, does everything it says on the box. It's lightweight, excellent coverage, and has these illuminating particles that's supposed to give the skin a "dewy finish".
The problem is, those illuminating particles just make my skin looks oily under most lights. It looked fine in the sephora store when I tried it on, but under natural light, it makes my skin way too shiny.
Now I'm mostly using it as a hightlighter, or apply powder on top to reduce the shine.
p.s. I'm using the warm radiance

I think this is a fantastic product. I have gone from being a heavy foundation user and when i say that i mean stick foundation etc for flawless coverage to this Tinted moisturiser. Its not oily for me and i have normal skin. Also this gives me the best coverage and i look so fresh and flawless! I feel this is a great product for young and old as its not heavy and natural !

I love the Glow this gave me! But beware, not to wear this on photos, you will look like a frikkking grease ball. I took a photo of me with flash and I looked super greasy, but in a photo without flash I looked normal. It feels confortable on my dry skin and I think it is the best TM I have ever used.

This tinted moisturizer felt and looked very greasy on my skin and my skin is usually dry. The consistency is okay, it just didn't provide the subtle glow I was after. I'm hesitant to try the other Laura Mercier tinted moisturizers because of this and because of the price.

I already tried the normal tinted moisturizer from Laura Mercier however I found the colour a bit off once it was exposed outside. So I decided to try the illuminating tinted moisturizer as I wanted more of a healthy glow. It is very sparkly but I can see why it might be more suited as a highlighter. The consistency is very light, more liquid than a cream. The problems with this tinted moisturizer is after a while the oil seperates from the cream which is not what I expect. I have to shake the tube to make sure its mixed properly. I can see why this product can give you spots as it is very oil based and can sink right into the pores unless you blot if after. Which in my case is a lot of work for a product you are just meant to put on with your finger tips and not worry about for the rest of the day. However I did such thing and by the end of the day I either looked like I had a work out or was sweating alot. So unfortunutley, this product needs more testing and to be honest has put me off tinted moisturisers for quite a while.

I use this as my everyday foundation, it gives just the right coverage, & makes my skin look "healthy" if I need a bit more coverage I apply my Mineral Power over it. It doesnt look glittery or shiny when I apply it on my skin.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Dry, Fair Hair: Brown Eyes: Green
I just received this in "Bare" and couldn't wait to put it on my face. Being over 50, I'm all about the "glow" and hydration. This stuff is a MUST HAVE for ladies my age! I am blessed with good skin, and it gives me the right coverage and such a pretty glow - I don't see glitter at all. I tried half of my face with just this product, then the other half with this and some mineral powder over it. What can I say? Both halves of my face looked gorgeous! Tomorrow, I'm trying it mixed with a little liquid foundation, just to see the "look". This is perfect for my lifestyle - love it!

I think this is an excellent tinted moisturizer.. Of course, it is not a foundation, so it doesn't provide the same amount of coverage as a foundation, but nevertheless, it provides more coverage than most tinted moisturizers I have used so far. I bought it in the shade Bare Radiance and it's a very good match with my skintone. The moisturizer looks very glittery, but once applied I find that it's not glittery at all. It just gives me a very nice glow. Sometimes I powder my chin and forehead with some MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, but when my skin is dry, I actually appreciate the all over glow this moisturizer gives me. I would love to repurchase this if I run out, but I will have to see whether I can actually affort it at that time, as it is a very pricey product.
Edit: I especially love this product during the winter, as the light tends to be quite greyish. This moisturizer is great during this time of the year, but I think that it would be less suitable for summer weather, because the bright sun would probably make the shimmer stand out more. I am planning on buying the oil free version to use during the summer. I often don't like the heavier coverage of foundation, so this tinted moisturizer is a great find for me.
Edit 2: Even though I still really like this product, I don't think it's as versatile as the normal LM TM. Because it's so expensive and I only use it during the winter, I wouldn't repurchase.
