This makes my skin look so healthy and beautiful - but there is a bit of a learning curve with it. Bit of background: I havent used any liquid or cream products in quite some time. I found them very heavy so I used various oils to moisturize and mineral makeup. Im turning 30 in a few months and ive noticed that my skin has changed. Im no longer breakout-prone but dryness and fine lines are starting to creep in. My mmu just looks too dry and powdery. So I got a sample of this in bare radiance. I applied with my ecotools foundation brush and the shimmer was just over the top, weird, grey, metallic. Not good. I applied mmu over top of it and it was just perfect. It had the glow but was toned down a lot, the grey disappeared as well. This TM does moisturize well, sinks in fast and dries quickly. My skin feels really healthy with this on. I was torn still - I feel for $55 CAD a product should be able to be used on its own without other products to make it work. Then on a whim I put this on with clean fingers and what a difference! It blended so perfectly and didnt have the metallic look to it. The shimmer was also toned down. I find this great for the under-eye area. I work graveyards and sleep is definitely my weakest link. This makes me look rested, healthy and hydrated without any concealer. I will definitely buy once my sample runs out . One caveat - it does seem to oxidize slightly on my skin and turn a half shade darker and orange-er so you may want to go a shade lighter than you would normally. It can also oxidize blush so you may want to use a lighter hand on that too.

I purchased this TM because I love the look and finish of Laura Mercier's regular TM in Nude. Yet, LM's regular TM does NOT protect against UVA rays. The illuminated version does protect against UVA and UVB rays, but it is so sparkly! I purchased Natural Radiance to match my NC-27 skin tone and found it to be too dark. I ended up putting the regular TM and illuminating TM together, blending it, then applying it. It's a beautiful match and finish. Yet, I worry that the sun protection isn't good enough this way.

i like this product for the summer a lot i recommend this if you want a tinted moisturiser that hasn't got the coverage of a tinted moisturiser because i feel it has a little bit more coverage yet still feels just as light but i still prefer Chanel vital lumier aqua but for the price this one is just as good.

I tried this product on in Sephora and thought it looked amazing - a light coverage with the promised "glow." However, as soon as I stepped outside the store I noticed that it looked a little greasy in natural light and only got worse as the day wore on.

Long story short, this product makes you look beautiful in completely artificial light only (would prob be great to wear at night). But it's not practical for everyday use since as soon as you're near a natural light source (ie near a window or outdoors), your face looks super shiny and greasy and makes your pores look huge.

This is such a great product! i got it as a free sample with my beauty insider sephora card, and i love it. once this one is over, im buying another one. it absolutely matches my skin tone, and its so lightweight unlike most of the concealer creams! i usually put a little bit of it, and on top i put some bare essentials powder, it makes my face look bright, fresh and amazing, it even helps me hide my dark under-eye circles.

I loved this at first but for the price you really don't get that much product. Also, it tends to peel on me ??? Not sure what that is about but I do still like the amount of shimmer/deweyness it provides without being glittery. Bottom line is this is just too pricey to repurchase.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this..
I have this in Natural Radiance.

On days that I don't want to wear full on makeup OR when I'm late for work (teehee), I put this on, a bit of concealer, blush and powder where I need it. I'm good to go.

I just look so refreshed with this on. Once you put it on, you really notice a big difference. There's that "glow".

I love this stuff. I know it's a pricey BUT it's worth every penny.

I love this illuminating Tinted Moisturizer in natural. I use it as my make up base over my concealers. My skin is good enough so that I look glowy without looking like a disco ball. Highly recommend!!!!

I LOVE THIS. Lately, this has been my everyday foundation. I have this in Bare Radiance. When I tested this on my arm at Sephora, I was a little scared of the shimmer. I bought it anyway. So glad I did, this has been one of the best MU purchases I've made in a while. If you are looking for healthy looking, glowy, light coverage, this is for you. It really just makes you look "pretty". :-) So love this!!! The sheer shimmer isn't extreme at all. I do a MoM mattifying layer before applying and set with loose powder and it lasts a good 8 hours blotting only once on my oily skin. With no oxidation! I will definitely be re-purchasing this!

A few months ago I had the experience of sitting in a large hall with 5 busloads of French men and women over 40 for several hours. I noticed that most of the women looked vibrant and youthful despite the lack of obvious plastic surgery. I tried to see if I could determine their secret and it dawned on me that most of them were wearing far less makeup than the average American, and that many had glowing skin (being uniformly thin and having certain fashion flair didnt hurt either). I talked to several of the women, who told me that they wore little makeup but spent money on facials, face creams, etc. I was so impressed, that I decided to re-think my makeup strategy.

I had tried TMs years before, but had dismissed them as not having enough coverae. But now, thanks to meticulous skin care and Renova, my skin isn't bad. I had heard good things about Laura Mercier TM and headed to Sephora. I initially bought both the regular and illuminating TM, thinking that the illuminating would be too shiny or sparkly. I mixed them together for awhile and was pleased with the results.

Then, two weeks ago I started using only the illuminating TM I use Bare. And boy did the compliments begin! I do not find it too shiny for my 52 year old skin, it gives a nice glow. Very minimal coverage, my imperfections still show through, but are minimized and softened. I put it on over my moisturizer/sun screen and a little concealer around my eyes only. I have been using a little blush and just a light dusting of powder over my T zone. I might apply more if I were looking for a more polished work look, but I don't wear much makup to work, I am a nurse and it wears off from the mask I often wear. I really am glowing! In a good way! I apply it with the sonia kashuk blue sponge, sort of dabbing it on. I don't have to use much, so I imagine it will last awhile, which is good since it is somewhat expensive. I also wish it were in a little pump bottle rather than a tube, but a minor point. Overall, I'd rate this very highly and recommend it to my 50+ friends. I love the way my skin looks so much better and more youthful!

UPDATE: I still like this product, but no longer wear it alone. Rather, I mix it with the regular TM or other foundation for all-over use, or use by itself over the cheekbone area. I like it by itself indoors, but outdoors it's just too shiny

ONE YEAR LATER: I am still using this, which is a miracle for me, as I change makeup approaches frequently. I still mix this with a matte TM (either Mercier or Sonia Kashuk). I generally wear it with a bit of Tarte cheek stain and get loads of compliments on my skin. I am wearing less makeup than ever before, and feel like I look younger. I am careful not to use too much of this when outdoors in the sun, but indoors it's fantastic. Have re-bought once.
