These strips are the best thing that ever happened to my nose. I have rather oily skin and large pores that get clogged full of junk so easily. These strips do an amazing job of clearing most of the junk out of my pores (when I'm done, the strip is covered in little grey, brown, and yellow plugs--gross!)

I recently came across the 6-strip boxes at Big Lots for $1.99 each (and stocked up!), so for those of you who feel they're too expensive, I suggest you try looking there.

I rate this product as expensive compared to the value you get from it. The strips simply do not work as promised. I've tried using them after steaming, too. One reviewer said you have to have a lot of blackheads to start with, but I do -- a nose full. It's my absolute worst beauty problem. However, I can't honestly say I won't buy them again because I will, although I'm going to start using the cheaper CVS version. Until I find something that does work, I use these out of desperation to feel like I'm doing something, anything. (By the way, many thanks to all the reviewers on this site who steered me away from wasting my money on the expensive Joey New York pore treatments.) Here's my routine with the pore strips, and it's pretty extreme. Once, sometimes twice a week, I exfoliate my face then use Estee Lauder's So Clean Deep Pore mask (which doesn't really work on nose blackheads either, but feels like a deep facial and the tube lasts a long time). After rinsing off the mask, I wet my nose and apply the Biore (soon CVS) pore strip. I leave it on 20 minutes then pull it off (careful: easy does it). When I examine the strip to see what came off, it's always the same: maybe 1-2 actual blackheads and a lot of microscopic fuzz that's probably very fine hair. Then I swab my nose with a cotton ball soaked with Sea Breeze Astringent for Sensitive Skin. The result: the skin on my nose looks tight, as close to poreless as I can get (which isn't that close). The marble-smooth texture this gives my nose lasts for about a day and a half. I've been tempted to do this every other day, but no way could my skin take it. I know this radical routine probably violates all laws of sound skincare, but it's the best I've found so far (a sad, sad statement), and looks pretty good once the makeup is on.

It's great for removing blackheads! Here's a tip, make tiny snips with a scissors at regular intervals along the strip, so that it'll fit into the contours of your nose. For those who have larger noses, get the strip for guys! You need to have a good amount of blackheads in order for this to work. I use if for my forehead too, to smoothen the skin and rid clogged pores there... (",)

There is a trick to these - I cut them into smaller strips (1/4" wide) so they fit into all the nooks and crannies around my nose and chin. Letting them dry completely, they remove all traces of blackhead from my skin!

I was disappointed by this product. Tirelessly searching for a blackhead remedy, I bought these as soon as they hit the market. The strips seems to best fit a high nose bridge rather than flatter (and wider) noses. I followed the directions but I didn't see any notable results. My blackheads must be stubborn or else these strips just don't work. I even tried steaming my pores before applying the strips and still nothing of note.

I did see some dirt on the strip, but the ads made it seem like you'd find a big glob of black or grey stuff on it. I'd rather stick to cleanser and toner.

Overall, this is a fair product. It's not perfect, but not a total waste either. The catch is, you have to actually have a good amount of blackheads on your nose to start with. If done correctly, you will see a good amount of blackheads/pore clogging dirt on the strip after you've pulled it out. However, not ALL of the blackheads will be gone, I am starting to suspect that these strips only pull off the top/surface of the clogged pore, so you are still left with some clogging in the pore. Also, the blackheads will return in a few days. So this is not that successful of a product, but might help a little. To be honest, I am not sure why I still use them or how long I will continue to. I think they may contribute to broken blood vessells around the nose---be careful!

These worked great for me. I thought I'd have to get the Ultra ones, since I have a TON of huge blackheads on my nose (like 5 in every square millimeter-- over 100 altogether), but I got my nose really wet, pressed the strip down forcefully, and waited about 15 minutes. I wasn't expecting a miracle, but-- ta da!-- it looked like a porcupine, just like in the commercial. It was kinda gross, but satisfying. I still have a lot of blackheads, but this got rid of about 20 of them, especially on the sides. UPDATE: I have found that these work best when using a mild scrub beforehand, which loosens the pore-clogging gunk. Try it!!

This works.. okay, I suppose. I'm still going to buy this, even though it doesn't work the best for me because I keep wishing it will. For it to really work well on you, you need to have large pores (my mother does, and it works wonderfully on her.) Don't get your nose too wet, other wise the strip will just become a mess too.

These things really work for me. When I pull it off, tons of blackheads are stuck to it (lovely, eh?). When it dries, it can pull at your skin when you're trying to remove it but I don't mind. This is the only thing I've found that actually removes blackheads.

I heard alot of raves about these strips. They are supposed to pull out the blackheads on your nose. In my case, they just did not work. Sometimes I would see some "residue" on the strip. But for the same results, I would rather use a good mask.

Ouch! All this removed was hair and skin layers. Nothing was on the strip, and it hurt like the devil to pull off.

Does not remove any blackheads. I really wanted this product to work for me since I have blackheads on my nose that I can't seem to get rid of. I followed the directions carefully and never saw one blackhead removed. It's really rediculous to me to even think it would work since the strips are not even as sticky as scotch tape. I used them correctly and they did stick well to my nose but did NOT remove the first blackhead. Don't waste your money

I really wanted to like this product (isn't that why we buy any product?), but sadly did nothing for me! The strips doe not "pull" the blackheads out! Rather, they left a kind of sticky glue on my nose which I'm sure didn't help with my blackheads. (Besides leaving my nose dry and raw!) This is another one of those "if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is" scams. Don't waste your money!

I use the Ultra cleansing strips, and I love them. I use a strip once a week IMMEDIATELTY after I get out of the shower (without drying my nose off), and I love the results. You have to make sure that your nose is reallllly wet (use warm/hot water) in order for the strip to successfully remove all of the junk. Don't leave it on too long, or it will kill when you take it off!

For a make-at-home version of this product, throw some eggs, sugar, and super glue on a piece of cloth. Stick to nose, rip off 5 minutes later. See some blackheads come off, then scrub to get the messy irratating film off your nose. Leaves a GREAT residue that will causes as many or more blackheads than before you started! DO NOT RECOMMEND!
