I had really high hopes for this product, since I usually love clinique mascaras, I thought I would give this one a try. I got this product in black/brown, and it gives volume to your lashes, but the formula is not that great. It smudges really badly!
I don't know if this happens to others, but when I yawn my eyes water a little (it looks like I'm crying haha) and then when I look at myself in the mirror I see smudges around my eyes and I barely teared up!
I guess if you are looking for a mascara that comes off easily this is for you, but I wouldn't think you would want to pay the $14 for it.

This, in a tie along with Clinique's Inimitable waterproof formula, is the best mascara I've found. My lashes are naturally rather long, so I begin with a bit more than others have and therefore cannot say whether it'll transform you from sparse to lush. For me, however, it provides great definition with added volume and length. No clumps and a perfect jet black hue--the price is reasonable as well.

I am a big fan of Clinique, esp their creams and lipsticks. I got this mascara in Black and was expecting so much from it. I wanted it to be worth the 14 bucks I paid. The first week, I used it every day - really liked it! BUT, as that week went by, it really stopped working so well. You cannot build it up for more volume. It is pretty dark and makes your eyes look sexy and all, but it really feels uncomfortable when I wear even one coat, let alone 2 or 3. It is too watery, which kills my already-curled-before-mascara lashes. I really like the packaging (I DO wish Clinique named it smth better than "high impact mascara") and the wand is average, It lengthens with minimal volume, and it does clump, which is a big no no for me. So much for its high brand name, and expensive as heck. Not very satisfied with it in the long run. Lashblast works better in all areas, cheaper (better than 1/2 price) and its a drugstore produc for heaven's saket!!!

Hmm...not a fan of this one. I found that it clumped my lashes and made them look scraggly and lumpy. I will deffinatly not be repurchasing. Even though it made my lashes long, they just looked horrible and it was overly noticable that I was wearing mascara, i like my lashes to look relativley natural when i put mascara on and this just looked bad.

Its high impact alright. ... It makes me look like a raccoon....
Smudges like hell. Maybe its because i got a gwp, but it sucks... take my word for it...
It does volumize a little, but it clumps pretty badly, so when i comb my lashes through to get rid of the clumps, it flakes, and the voluminous-ness goes away...

Glad that i got this as GWP
HIGH IMPACT? Oh well...doesn't live up to its name
Smudges real bad, doesn't lengthen, clumps like spider legs within first coat...
Think this is one of the worst mascara i have ever used...

I love the thick brush of this mascara, it fills my lashes till the end and gives them lots of volume, which is amazing! <3 The product in the bottle dries out too fast though. Would buy again.

Good enough, but not my favorite. I always seem to have one of these around from a GWP. I'll use this once in a while, but I really prefer Clinique's Lash Doubling Mascara.
EDIT: I've lowered my rating on this from a 3 to 2 because it recently started to annoy me enough to throw it out. It makes my lashes thick and clumpy. I don't particularly like thickening mascaras because my lashes are thick enough already and they just look bad thicker - so normally I would have rated higher... but I never needed to throw away the infamous Maybelline Great Lash, and throwing this out made me think I shouldn't leave it as a 3.

A very good everyday mascara, minimal flakes, only a small amount of smudging, mainly right after applying on bottom lashes. I use a Ardell heated eyelash curler which I love before applying. If I want super lashes for evening I use the primer from one of my other mascara's before using High Impact and if I want it waterproof I use a coat of EL double wear over. Kind of a shame it takes all of these to meet my needs but with a little work I get the exact look and type of wear I need. The High Impact is easy to remove, no pulling out eyelashes or scrubbing, comes off easily with Cephil face cleanser or makeup remover. Reasonable price, if you check your area there is usually a gift with purchase or this may be in the gift.
