Im undecided on this product. I think a primer should smooth out your visible imperfections prior to applying foundation, and i think this could do a better job. While it makes makeup go on smoother, it just fall slighlty short for me. Ill probably repurchase until i find one that performs better. FYI-sephora has a 1 oz size and travel sizes. The one oz size costs more that buying 2 travel sizes and u end up with more product with 2 travel sizes.

It took me a while to warm up to this product, but now I really like it. I sometimes use it alone, and it gives my face a much smoother, softer look and feel. Under liquid foundation, I get a polished, professional look. I don't particularly like it under MMU as it seems to keep the makeup from melding with my skin, but when I mix MMU into the primer, the end result is absolutely awesome.

I hate this product. It clogged my pores, despite the claim that it does not, and caused major bumps all over my forehead! It has silicone in it so it feels greasy and clogs! The bumps went away right after I stopped using it.

I love this stuff. I bough mine from sephora. I makes my make up last and last forever! It also gives my face a nice shiny glow which i love!!!

I absolutely LOVE this primer! I formerly used LM's, but I really didn't notice that it did anything. Smashbox's primer is awesome, though! This one provides a smooth canvas to apply foundation. It totally fills in fine lines and pores, and keeps the afternoon oilies away. I love my skin with this primer, and I will never be without it!

I love this product! My skin looks soo pretty when i wear it with or without foundation.My Dh even commented on my skin when i wore it, now thats saying alot! My problem with it is it does cause breakouts when i wear it everyday, so I only wear it for special occasions.

This product is great if you're going to take pictures or for special events...but for everyday wear I think it's a bit to heavy. It made my skin oily (I have dry & sensitive skin), I had to retouch my makeup (frequently plus I went through a pack of face blots within two days), and because my skin was oiler I had huge breakouts (after wearing it for a few days)...but I do like the packaging (simple, easy, not messy).

I was NOT ready for my close-up with this primer!PhotoFinish seemed to make me oily...and I have dry skin. Overall, I felt that this made my foundation move around on my skin and half way through the day it disappeared?? Not sure where it went, but hopefully not into my pores. I gave it 2 lippies because it did feel super-silky and minimized my pores.

I'm writing this review based on the use of several samples of this (I used it for about a week). Great primer that smooths the way for easier makeup application and longer makeup wear. Even if I don't wear foundation, I put this on under my concealer; makeup stays put and, under my eyes, I get no smudges of eye makeup. Though I'm pretty happy with my (slightly less expensive) Cat Cosmetics Silk Purrfection primer, this feels like it's better. I wouldn't rule out buying this, but since I have a cheaper (in price and slightly in quality) alternative, I can't be sure I would purchase this product.

It's one of the best primers I've ever used. I got a tube of it in the new 0.5 oz packaging, very handy imo. I really love this, it definitely helps to minimize the look of my humongous pores while hold my makeup longer than usual. On top of it, this primer makes my skin real smooth, and doesn't cause my foundation to cake up on me at all. I have tried Clinique's and Lancome's primers with no luck. both caused my foundation to cake up very badly & parts of the primer even got rubbed off when I was applying on the foundation. However I don't have such a problem with smashbox's. Will re-purchase when my tube runs out.

I got this as a sample from Sephora.. It made my foundation go on so smooth. I have pretty clear skin but this primer made my skin glow. I love how it goes on soo smooth.. It comes in a gel format. It also controlled the oil. I have combo skin & very oily in the t-zone. This primer definitely helped. I am def. going to buy some.

I got a sample of this with something I ordered from Sephora. It was enough for me to use for a week.

The second time I used it someone in a restaraunt told me my skin looked beautiful (I do have pretty clear skin, but it doesn't "glow" or anything ;)

The forth time my administrative assistant stopped in the hall outside my office to tell me something, looked again, and then said, "Your make-up looks really good today."

That was enough for me.

I use it with Prescriptives Photochrome foundation. I use Philosophy "Hope in a Jar" underneath it.

I have oily skin in the summer (extremely) and somewhat "combo" in the winter. I am prone to cycstic acne about twice a year. But, I practice good skin care so I don't have a lot of scars, or lines to cover up. I do have large pores...it helped these immensely and has not caused a break-out so far.

I like that is doesn't smell, I'm not big on silicone "texture" but this stuff really did make my face flawless.

Am placing an order at Sephore right now for a full sized bottle.

The only reason why I am even giving this 2 lippies is because it did help with a smooth make up application.

It did not control my oilies or even help make my make up last longer. I think it actually made me oilier and it broke me out :(

It seemed to make my foundation disappear which is the complete opposite of what it is suppose to do!

I was hoping this would be good but I new with it being a basic silicone base product I was taking a chance at breaking out.

I would suggest getting a sample of this before dropping $36.

This is a terrific primer. I use this alone or with a light dusting of powder. It makes my skin so soft that it feels like glass-probably due to the silicones in it. It's a clear gel that's in a pump bottle and you use very little [less than a full pump for the whole face]. It helps my skin look more polished and seems to improve the wearability of the powder foundation when I wear it. It did not cause any irritation to my sensitive PPP skin nor any breakouts. I would repurchase just for the way it makes my skin feel !! This retails for $36.

This is the best product; I use it primarily on my eyes as a primer for my Bare Escentuals and Stila eyeshadows. My e/s goes on so smoothly and they last all day. This is a good product and I'll definitely purchase it again.

I really like the idea of a primer (don't ask me why...I guess I like to put stuff on my face) and have tried many of them to no avail. This one was no different. It makes my skin feel smooth and my foundation go on easier, but it there is no visible difference in the appearance of my skin or the staying power of my foundation. I tried putting it on 1/2 my face to see if there was a differece, and nada, zilch, nothing. Sigh...still looking...

My first foundation primer, I've been using this for a couple of months. Wow, what a difference this makes. #1 benefit for me is that it keeps my MU looking fresh all day, no greasies, no missing blush, no weird orangey oxidation. Its a clean silicone like product that did nothing to bother my acne prone skin. I used it after a light moisturizer and let it set for about 4-5 mins before using a TM with Aromaleigh Glissade dusted over. This is a great HG product for me. Try to get a smaller tube version on ebay for cheap so you can see if it will work for you.

Love it!!! My foundation (hyper real by MAC) goes on perfectly and it really does make the foundation look fresh all day. I was using the foundation on it's own, but I noticed a huge difference with this primer. A definate buy again.

Oh wow! I can NOT do without this stuff!
....I put half a pump of this on and spread it quickly over face and neck and my skin looks amazingly smooth. I also like the fact that my pores seem less visible and it keeps the shineys at bay for a while.

....If you're a sceptic, just do half your face. You can SEE the difference!

....I use it with Bare Escentuals, Sisley, Dior, and Laura Mercier foundations - and sometimes on its own.
