I just bought this shampoo and LOVE it. It's left my chin-length bob full, bouncy, and oh so soft. The shampoo has a wonderful scent, too. Usually I use salon products but decided to give this a try and am so glad I did. Body Envy is a great bargain that delivers great results. Kudos to Clairol for coming up with this formula.

I bought this and the matching conditioner to pump up my shaggy pixie cut. My hair is naturally pin-straight, so it falls flat easily. This shampoo smells delicious, TEN times better than the old Herbal Essences! And with the help of some thicking paste or mousse, it gives my hair knock-out, gravity-defying volume! It is a tad bit drying, but leaves hair soft. A good bodifying shampoo for a great price:)

Long (half way down my back)color treated/bleached, with oily roots and dry ends hair type. I have to admit during and after rinsing my hair felt incredibly dry so I put tons of regis olive oil conditioner to put moisture back in. After drying my hair was silky soft and bouncy. My scalp & hair felt so clean and smelled wonderful but I know if I would not have used such a good conditioner that my hair would feel dry. I did have volume because my roots were lifted and my hair didnt lay limp but I dont think i want volume at the espense of having dry hair. I get the same results with volumizing mousse used on my roots so I dont think I will be buying this again. Im also afraid of build up because while towel drying my hair felt coated but it did give me volume so I wont knock off too many lippies

Usually my hair is very smooth, soft, and shiny (not to mention oily, thin, and fine). This stuff makes it dull and...fluffy? Frizzy? Can't think of quite the accurate word, but it's not really a good thing. The conditioner doesn't help, either (and boy is that stuff hard to rinse out completely!). This shampoo smells great for a couple seconds, but it's the kind of smell that makes you sick if you get more than just a whiff. I'm kind of sad because I loooove the smell of the "None of Your Frizzness" formula (my aunt uses it--I have no need for it), which is why I went with Herbal Essences.

An excellent drugstore shampoo. Smells great, leaves my hair body-full but not weighted down, and the price is right. UPDATE: OK, I'm not sure if this or my new conditioner (Aussie Mega for Normal hair) is leaving buildup but I'm docking a lippie here. :o(

This collection is great. Smells fantastic and leaves hair shiny, "bouncy", and smelling great afterwards. If you use too much though, your hair might smell VERY STRONG, so watch how much excess product you use (even if you wash it out the smell still lingers), unless that is the effect you are going for. In that case, smells yummy! For $2.99 you can't beat it on scent, performance, any thing! It was strange how it comes out a green gel, whereas by the packaging you would expect it to be an orange one.

I received the Body Envy Shampoo and Conditioner as a sample, and thank goodness for that b/c I wouldn't spend 1/6 of a cent on this horrible product. =( I experienced NO body/volume/poofiness whatsoever. My hair was flat, flimsy, and unflattering. At first I used both the shampoo and conditioner, and my hair was so lifeless, I decided to just use conditioner on my ends. Unfortunately, my hair was still flat. So then I tried just the shampoo, and still my hair was horribly flat. This shampoo and conditioner duo is worse than ultra-moisturing, heavy, thick products that are actually supposed to weigh down the hair. I must admit, however, that "Body Envy" is an appropriate name... but only because using it will make your flat, lifeless, unflattering hair have "body envy". Please do not spend money on this product... try a sample first and see if it works for you.

I have the straightest flatest down-like soft hair that usually feels like it is sticking to my head. I have spent thousands of dollars searching for the perfect shampoo for my hair. Finally, I have found my treasure!! I love the scent of this shampoo and it's dirt cheap compared to the salon brands I have wasted money on. This stuff makes my hair feel fluffy and not stuck to my head. For the first time in a long time, my hair feels bouncy. Great job clairol!!

This did nothing at all to increase volume in my hair. It is a basic shampoo. Nothing fancy about it. I did not care for the nectarine-floral scent. Have the matching conditioner and am not impressed with that either.

Even though this shampoo was not the best at delivering body, it did make my hair healthy looking and shiny. I really really like the scent - it's something I can get used to and live with. My 4 year old son likes the colors on the packaging and the shampoo too. I'll definitely repurchase this.
