I really like this product for days when I want to wear bright shadows. It brings out the color of the shadows just the way they look in the pan. It will crease though if you don't wear a primer underneath! I also use this to line my waterline if I want to look more awake :) This is definitely worth the price, it will last me forever!

Love this product! I began using it in a pinch, after running out of my normal eyeshadow primer, which at the time was Urban Decay Primer Potion. A quick swipe across the eye, with a gentle pat down to evenly distribute it across the lid. It worked out well, despite the rumors I had heard about creasing. I've found that an evenly applied layer gives a huge boost to the vibrance and longevity of ANY shadow. I haven't gone back to UDPP since, because I really like the difference in vibrance I've seen with Milk.
The only caveat I've found with this product (which is a pretty obvious one, and probably holds true for similar products, like MAC shadesticks) is that they will melt if left in a hot enough area for a long enough time. I was a bit horrified to find a huge melted clump of the product trapped in the top of the lid after accidentally leaving my makeup bag in my car for a few hours. I've heard that several people use this to their advantage, however, and using a blow dryer to melt the pencil into an empty paint pot jar is a pretty common practice.
Oh, and one other tip: The NYX sharpener is a must-have if you use these pencils. I had a generic dual pencil sharpener that I was using with this product at first, and it was awful.

I bought this because of the rave reviews for it as a wonderful primer for e/s. Well, oh my! It does`nt work for this purpose at all! I really regret buying this. What a waste. It is very dry, and hard to blend. And not opaque. I will definately stick with the e/s primers I already have! Update 11.18.2011: This is the culprit of causing milia on my eyelids.

I love using this as a highlight under my brow bone. Perfect and very inexpensive! It lasts a long time too!

This creamy and smooth pencil goes so opaque that I don't even want to spend the money on Mehron's Clown White anymore. This will do the job just fine because it's that pigmented. Very versatile product, too; something you can use on your eyes as a liner and a base, for highlighting and contouring your face, and to lighten lipsticks. I'm sure there are more uses, but that's just off of the top of my head. Took a point off of Packaging Quality because I'm not such a fan of sharpening and product loss. The pencil might be easier for other people to use, but I just depot the them and Voila, an NYX Paint Pot.

Love this item. Applying this over a primer will really make your shadows pop. Being brown skin I have a slightly hard time getting the best of a shadows pigmentation but with this my worries are gone. White eyeshadow has never looked better on me.

I love all of these Jumbo Eye Pencils, this is the first one I've tried since I picked it up at some random store in a local mall-it is hard to find for me. This one works great as a inner corner highlight to brighten up your eye, but I've found that it doesn't work too well as a browbone highlight for me, it appears chalky and fake-looking. Otherwise, this product is great for the other purposes-a base for eyeshadows and a inner corner highlight. I'll be repurchasing along with the other pencils when I run out, I'm trying to get as many as I can, they're great!!

I love this product!!!
It works great as a base under any eyeshacow, and really helps brighten even really cheap ones from the drugstore! I especially like to use it under my MAC paint pot to prevent creasing!
It has great pigmentation and is defenitly worth the price. You can also use it as a white eyeliner on your waterline if you want, but it can look too harsh, so I would defenitly say that's personal preferance :)
The only bad thing I have to say about this product is that it's hard to sharpen, but if you really are having trouble, then de-potting it is super easy (plenty of youtube videos!).

I absolutely love Milk! I have oily skin, but seem to have normal eyelids and these have an ok staying power on me. I love that you can have an assortment of these as different colored e/s bases for the price of one MAC pp (even though I think MAC pp work better on their own). I use these pencils with UD PP and have no creasing for up to 16 hours (!!), whereas on with no primer and just shadow on top, they last about 6 hours before creasing. Overall, I love Milk for its versatility out of all of them - most natural and brightening browbone/inner corner highlight ever! Definitely worth a try.

I have pretty normal skin on my eyelids and this seems to bring out the oil in 'em so I don't recommend this as a stand alone shadow or a base.
I like using this on my inner lower eyelid rim but it is quite stark. I do not recommend this if you just want something subtle. When I use it on my inner rim I'm going for that white brightness and extend it a bit to the outer edge but it's a specific aesthetic that a lot of people don't like. Most would be better suited for something softer if they want their ~widening and brightening~ to be less noticeable.

ah i absolutely hate this for my eyes because of intense creasing but i found better use! lol i put it on my lips and mix my lipstick or gloss with it to get that baby milky color, especially with pinks. fun stuff :D cuz i can get that milky color without the blue tone pink thats usually in baby pink colors since i can use any of my pink colors.

This product is nice, but it creases so badly! I don't think I have that oily of lids (MAC paint pot normally goes the job), but even when I apply Milk over MAC's Soft Ochre and set it with a powder eyeshadow, it still creases like crazy. I like the concept and the formula... but I feel like the product doesn't work for me. This is obviously a personal issue, so I still give this product an overall high rating

Fantastic white jumbo pencil / eye base.
- - -
Pros - long wearing, blendable, highly pigmented, great for wearing as a base or alone (for a bright eye effect), price.
- - -
Cons - availability (I think NYX is only available online or at Ulta and these seem to be a hot commodity at Ulta because they run out). Like another user mentioned, it's so large you need a special sharpener for it. But neither of these are really comments on the product itself, just things to consider.

Overall - great product. Definitely worth tracking down and owning. Perfect for brightening up eyes. Ulta does a lot of buy one get one 50% off and all of Nyx products are pretty decent. I think they're regularly priced for about 5.69.

I use this for my waterline. Best white eyeliner I have found yet. It stays on really well and is very pigmented, plus the price is right.

I love this product, definitely a great base, highlight, and inner corner color, you can't use too much or it will crease, but has never creased on me . the only problem i have with this is the packaging. i don't like that it's in a stick form, cause it's really hard too find a sharpener big enough & the NYX one's for it are kinda expensive, i wish it was in a pot form like the other bases, the caps are also really cheap, and crack very easy * over all this is a great base, i would just rather the packaging be a litle different.

Hands down my favorite Jumbo Pencil. I think it has the most tacky like consistency, and it truly makes eyeshadows pop when applied first to the lid. I can't tell you how many times I've bought this, and the only tedious thing about the jumbo pencils are sharpening/depotting them.

I love this pencil for really making my eyeshadows pop when I apply them over it. The one thing that irritates me is the caps apparently crack easily because every time I go into the Ulta near me almost all of them are cracked or broken. But I do love the product and love the price.

I like this product, but it's not perfect by any means. I have oily lids, so there is absolutely no wearing this on it's own, ever. I apply this over TFSI, using my finger. Then the key is to apply the thinnest layer possible, blending out enough that the white is still visible (to make colors pop) and tacky enough that colors will stick. I've had no issues with sharpening mine. I use a NYX sharpener, and despite using this quite regularly, I've only needed to sharpen it twice. You really need so little each time, that if it works for you, it's quite economical. Lately I tend to use MAC Painterly p/p over TFSI, but for days when I need something to really make my eyeshadows pop, Milk does the trick!

if you have oily lids, skip this.. this is basically white grease on me.. all the rave reviews had me running to ULTA for this.. i really hate taking things back, but this had to go.. its really over rated, and i couldn't get this to work for me at all.. i really don't understand how this works as a base for anyone..

I love the Jumbo Eye Shadow Pencils. Milk is such a great product to use in the inner corners of the eye to brighten them up or to use under an eyeshadow to really make the colour stand out. I always use a primer though beforehand or my Mac Paint Pot - I would use these under any eye shadow anyway so that's not really a problem for me. I recommend not using too much - I've never had a problem with creasing.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this product and love my little collection that I own.
