This has got to be one of my favorite fragrances! It's smells like cotten candy! I brought the EDP and it has amazing staying power! This is definatly a sweet fragrance!

Did this have the wonderful vanilla-cotton-candy-sweetness I heard raves about? To me, not at all. Magnetism smelled sweet when I first applied it, but in a floral, not cotton-candy way. Then it quickly dried down into a stale woodsy smell. This was so disappointing! I am still on the hunt for my caramel vanilla cotton-candy wonder fragrance.

I cannot get the smell of it off of my arm. It is cloying and smells of ozone with an acrid bite. An underlying sweetness, but over powering powdery musk that turns my stomach. MY absolute least favorite fragrance. Ever.

I noticed the latest review for this scent, and had to find out if I had made one myself or not. This is the result:
The day I purchased this one, I had one aim in mind when I went into the shop -I wanted to buy something that made me smell just like cotton candy. I turned the shop upside down in my quest for sweet scents, and rejected everything that didn't smell exactly like I wanted to. And finally, there was Magnetism - true cotton candy in a bottle. A beautiful purple bottle. I bought it, and went clubbing later with it on. I have never danced so much in a year than I did that night, and I really had a great time!
The bottle is a bit annoying, though so one lippie off for that. But the scent is perfect for when you want to smell just like a cotton candy ball.
UPDATE 11/06: The candynote in this scent is similar to other fragrances around, and it could be passed as uninteresting or boring because of that. But what makes this one stand out, is the tobacco note in the drydown that mutes the gourmand sweetness and makes it a little bit of a woodsy classic. Still one of my favourites. Sample it a few times before purchasing/passing.

This is the closest I'll ever come to liking a fruity fragrance, and the reason I like it, is that it is not pure fruit (think Escada LEs), but fruit mixed with vanilla and spices. The drydown is nice, and the lasting power is excellent, but I hate the tall bottle which will probably one day fall down and get broken.

This is..."pretty". That's the first word that came to my mind when I smelled it. The first impression is vanilla mixed with cotton-candy, but the vanilla goes away quite quickly and I only got a flowery-cotton-candy feeling left, with a slightly plasticky sensation. I'd see this on a rather young girl. Nothing fantastic, nothing horrible... but nothing really special either. For a truly beautiful cotton-candy scent, I much prefer Pink Sugar over this

I have had my nose and eye on this scent for a very long time and purchased it today. I adore this scent. It really pumps me up with some energy when I smell it. The lasting power is AMAZING. A little goes a long way, so I can see how some would get "nauseated" with it because it is strong. I agree with the description of "sophisticated cotton candy" which balances out my obsession with Aquolina's Pink Sugar nicely. It's sort of a Coco Mademoiselle meets Pink Sugar scent (which is why I must love it because those two are my top fragrances)
The bottle is annoying, as one person mentioned, always tips over but I can live with it. A perfume has to smell good, obviously that is the first step, but I am such a sucker for lasting power and this perfume has it....I hope you like it because this one will stay on you the entire night.
My new favorite scent!

I ♥ this fragrance. It lasts on me w/o layering w/a scented body lotion. It is sweet & floral, just up my alley. This is becoming one of my favorites. My sister suggested layering this scent w/Suds and Light Pink Sugar body lotion as she believes they will compliment each other. I plan to give that a try but I think it is a good idea and will give it a shot soon. I will definitely repurchase this fragrance.

This was really, really too sweet on me. It reminded me of Rockin' Rio. For some people, this would be a good thing, but I prefer a little bit more of a sophisticated, in a sense 'perfumey' smell. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. FYI: my best friend loved it, and we generally like the same scents, so this one was different.

Ahhhh I love this scent. It is sweet, but not too sweet... to me anyways. The lady at the perfume counter had me sample this, saying it smells like cotton candy. It DOES! But not in a little kid at the carnival type way, it's a little more grown up than that, but it is definitely very feminine and cute. It screams pink. I really, really like it, I just bought Ralph Lauren Blue and if I didn't already have too many perfumes I would buy either this or the new Guess for Women fragrance. This has decent staying power and the best thing is the scent doesn't change! That's a big problem with me, most perfumes I really like smell either too heavy or like bug spray once they mix with my wacky chemistry. This stays true, but it is a little too pricey for me, it usually runs in the $62 and up range for 1.7 oz. in department stores.

I smelled this in a magazine, haha, and went to see if it smelled as good in person. It was even better! I had a few others I wanted to test from magazines and in person, on me, they were terrible. This rocked. However, it doesn't last very long - I do the Vaselline trick and still I don't feel like I smell as yummy at the end of the day as I do at the beginning. That's the only reason it didn't get a 5. I guess it could be my skin type, it just doesn't cling? No, I also mist it on my bra and that doesn't work either. Hmm. Well, anyway, I still love it. Most perfumes are gigantic migraine triggers for me, but strangely not this one. It's very sensual but not too heavy, and that tart undertone kind of makes me want to drink it. It smells like it would taste lovely, but we all know it won't so I'll refrain.

Sweet with a bite. This fragrance is complex on me and I love that. I get a variety of interpretations depending on when I sniff. I've read the reviews comparing it to strawberries and I have to agree. It has a sweetness to it but it is tart too.

I got this as a gift but it is too sweet and too strong for me. I smell strong vanilla and leafy green mixed together. It's smells kind of odd. The bottle is annoying and always tipping over.

This is just yummy. So pleasant and sweet but not overly that it gives a headache. I cannot wait to recieve my Pin Sugar one now. These scents are so comforting. Honestly. This is a gem if you love Vanilla and strawberry candy type fragrances. I want the whoe set now!

I bought this on a whim at the duty free shop at the airport in a rush...mistake! First of all, I found it on ebay for much less. Second of all, the dry down made me feel sick. It's just far too sweet for me...which confuses me because I like Pink Sugar and this reminds me a little of it. Of course I bought the big bottle! (what is wrong with me?) I have sniffed this on a friend and it smells divine on her. Guess she's getting a present!! Oh well...live and learn!
UPDATE: Just noticed that somehow I gave this 3 lippies...had to correct that!

This is so cloyingly sweet that it almost made me sick. It really nauseated me. I tried to wear it, and I literally had to wash it off after about 30 minutes. Yuck!

My husband bought this for me. I love it for the most part. I get none of the "green leafy" smell that it is supposed to include. On me it smells of vanilla cotton candy. Like a carnival, elephant ears, cotton candy...however it's not overly sweet which is a good thing. It doesn't last long though, two hours tops. For the price I'm not sure if I would repurchase but if he wants to buy me more I'll let him have at it!

This one is fun and gets noticed.. kind of smells like cotton candy in a pine forest.. wonderfully long-lasting and strangely comforting. My only gripe is that the bottle doesn't like to stay put - its always falling over so i just leave it lying flat on my dresser :)

whilst wandering through nordstrom in post-shoe purchase happy haze, i was wrangled into trying this scent because i like hanae mori. i am in love with it.

i wanted something lighter than hanae mori red for summer and this is perfect. it's vanilla-y and sweet, but not cloying. i usually hate escada fragrances- consider me converted. but only to this one. island kiss is still repugnant.
