A great silvery, lilac grey lustre e/s that looks good with a combination of colours: I've used it with blues, silvers, greys, purples. I love using this and lining with a dark blue with my brown eyes and NC20 skin. Although the chunks do fall off, I don't mind so much - a great colour!

Gorgeous colour: a soft, shimmering grey lavendar with glitter. Comes out suprisingly sheer - use one of those foam applicators to pack the colour on. I put on quite a few layers to make it show up on my skin - I'm an NC40, but it's worth the effort. It gives me a lovely smokey eye, that's not too smokey for work, I'd definitely buy this again, I think the colour is stunning. Usual MAC quality.

Idol Eyes is a very sparkly silvery purple. It looks gorgeous on my blue eyes. The Lustre formula applies easily and lasts. I will repurchase this colour. Me: N1/NC15, blue eyes, blonde hair.

I'd give this 2 and a half lippies if I could. This is the first MAC eye shadow I don't like. It looks so pretty in the pan, but when I try and apply it, all that shows up is glitter. :( I'm going to try it on top of another purple eye shadow, as another reviewer suggested.

EXCELLENT shadow. It looked so dark in the pot, but as usual MAC manages to come up with another great chameleon shade. I am a PPP and can use this in many different ways. Used alone over a shadow base, it is beautifully sheer, with a slight lilac/gold/silver tint. Used over a MAC CCB, it can be metallic silver/black. It looks fantastic with Trax on the outer corners and in the crease. This shade is worth a try for any skin tone.

I really love this color, it is a glittery silver lilac, very metallic in finish. The lilac doesn't really show up on me, but with another purple e/s blended in with it, it looks stunning. Very sexy.

This is a pale blue-toned purpley grey eye shadow with silvery glitter. I don't think I'd buy it again because it's very very unpigmented so you have to apply *loads* and even then you can't see it very well. I do, however, think it makes a fantastic eye look with Shale e/s, Nylon e/s and Prunella e/l, so that is one hell of a redeeming factor for this otherwise useless eye shadow. I suppose I love it and hate it at the same time!

*sigh* This looks so amazing on pan. Very glittery silver-grey. But it actually shows up as very subtle grey on lid - very blah. Nothing like I expected. Not to mention the chunky glitters that always end up on my cheeks.

Ooooooh! I'm in love with this color! It is such a beautiful, sheer silvery purple color with hints of blue. I love to wear this as a wash with Jane's eyezing purple heart on a small crease and above my eyeliner. Makes my green eyes pop. One of my faves.

Great on green eyes! It's a shimmery greyish lavender with gold shimmer...lovely! This looks nice as a lid or crease color, and used wet the shimmer comes out really nicely.

I thought I would love this but this looks very shiny and almost too shiny.I was hoping to wear this as a wash but I will probably wear it with another color to tone down the shine.

My current favorite MAC eyeshadow which I use on a daily basis. The color is a kinda shimmery lavender whith slight brownish undertones. Looks great and makes my green eyes really pop!

A glittery silver-lavender color. This is so pretty and fun! It becomes tedious to layer it after a while because the silver glitter ends up all over my cheeks. I use this with Dovefeather and they make a charming duo! Very sexy!

NC20, hazel eyes. Idol Eyes is a lovely light silvery lavender with major shimmer, as it is one of the MAC lustre shadows. I prefer to apply this e/s wet, as it tends to minimize loose shadow ending up on my cheeks while maximizing the color payoff of Idol Eyes. This is a nice shadow for anybody who likes lavender shadows.

Sparkly, shimmery light bluish purple. Very shimmery -- almost metallic. Like a lot of MAC's shimmers, I don't think this goes on well without a cream base. But with the base, it's amazing. It's quite pale and very girly. Easy to wear. I pair this with Smashbox's Lava Liner with awesome results. It's as if they were made for one another.

I love idol eyes so much! I have been meaning to purchase this for the longest time and I finally got it! IT's such a pretty color in itself. Took off one lippie cuz its not very pigmented, but thats OKAY! don't not buy it because of this because the color is gorgeous IMO!
