I find this product is good on skin that aren't sensitive. I don't recommend this product on sensitive skin as i've had people developing ezcema from using this product. Also not good for acne-prone skin as it blocks pores.

i really love this product, even though i usually don't like napoleon products much at all.

i use it after moisturiser and before foundation...

it smoothes my skin, hiding pores, it stops me from getting flakies on my dry bits and oily in my t zone and makes my foundation and blush last much much longer....

love it - will buy over and over again!!

This product doesn't really do much for me. I prefer ModelCo primer anyday

Ive heard people braging about this product before, but I dont really notice the differences between using and normal moisturiser. I abselutly hate the fragrance, as i have a quite sensitive skin. It is quite pricey, and i will not purchase the product again.

I admit, I am a sucker for primers. This one from Napoleon does not disappoint. It reminds me of another favorite from Nars. It has a light, gel texture. I wish they sold it here in the States ( a kind Australian MUAer sent me some). Very nice, nothing fancy.

After reading so many mag reviews on this product, I decided to try it out. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this product, as it is cheaper than many of the alternatives around, and it does its job relatively well.

This formulation is fairly mosturising, with chamomile in its ingredients. However, I don't particularly like its fragrance. Also, when using with my Prescriptives Traceless foundation, it doesn't make all that much difference (as I have combo skin, not dry), as this is an extremely sheer tint-based foundation. When used with heavier Clinique foundation, however, I found that it makes a substantial amount of difference, and you can use less foundation for the same amount of coverage.

The texture of this product is light and it makes your skin feel smoother and silkier.

If you are a bit cash-strapped and cannot afford the higher-end primers around at the moment, then this is definitely worth a try.

I didn't notice too much of a difference when i used this primer. I'd much prefer using my normal moisturiser. Though i do love the smell and texture :) it does also feel great on the skin. But i found with the foundation i use it mixes unnaturaly.

On me, this primer has the most noticable results with drier, matte foundation formulas. My foundation goes on smoother & sheerer and I use less overall than I would without the primer as a base. My skin is on the dry side, and I cannot use this alone without a moisturiser underneath. I'm also prone to acne, and have never had breakouts or irritation from this product. With the primer, my makeup doesn't last any longer than normal but the finish is more natural and healthy looking.

A nice moisturiser but I did not find it made my makeup last longer. It does have a lovely scent and is very refreshing, but it's one of the feel good products that I can do without. I prefer products with high concentrations of antioxidants AND humectants.

I have been trialing this product for the last 3 days and have been using it only with the Becca LSC which is my staple. I have tried the Becca Silky Hydrating Primer and am looking for a cheaper alternative. Napolean is so close and yet not quite it for me. Much more hydrating than the Becca SHP and my skin really does feel more moisturised all day long, but it makes the LSC even more sheer than it already is- whereas the Becca SHP allows me to use less LSC as it makes it look like it has more coverage. Still I think that this primer is really quite good- upon application it makes my skin look and feel moist and hydrated, it just doesn't work with me LSC! I have the Napolean New Generation Stick foundation and will trial the primer with that to see how it fares. However for the moment, while this is a great product, it's not for me and i will not be buying.

I had never used a primer before trying a sample of this one and I was pretty impressed with the results. It made my skin feel smoother and hydrated (although I still have to moisturise before I prime)and my foundation went on nicely over it. It actually lets me use a little less foundation because it spreads better.

A bit pricey but I thought it was worth it. I got a pack with the foaming make-up remover and saved about AU$15.

This was just average for me. It's almost identical to NARS primer- exception for a fraction of the price!

It has a light, smoothing gel-like texture. Makes my skin feel quite soft, but doesn't give a super-amazing smooth texture. I like that it creates a barrier between my skin and the foundation.

Alas I cannot wear this in place of moisturizer...it's not hydrating enough for my dehydrated combination skin. And I wish it had an SPF element too.

I never really liked anything from Napoleon Cosmetics, until they released their new skincare range. I'm *so* impressed with all the products! This primer is pretty good. It's not a completely mattifying primer, and it's not a completely hydrating primer. It's somewhere in between, if that makes sense. When I apply the gel-cream, it slips on beautifully, much like a gel moisturizer. I use this in place of my morning moisturizer because it gives me all the hydration I need for my combination skin. My skin feels supple afterwards, and I especially like using it on non-makeup days because it makes my skin feel so smooth.. plus it has Vitamin E and Chamomile extract in it. However, despite what the SA said, I didn't find that it made my foundation go on nicer than normal. If I use a moisturizer before foundation, it gives me the same effect as this. So thumbs up for it making my skin feel nice on non-makeup days, but thumbs down on being a 'better' primer than any other ones out there.
