So I just randomly tried this one on In a drug store, and it looked great. But then I started noticing a lot of issues with this eyeliner.
-The brush that comes with is terrible, sometimes everything just comes out in a huge smudge against my eyelid which ruins my other eye make up and makes my mascara clump.
-Since the package is a cone shape, and the brush is totally emerged in liquid, you can't regulate the amount of liner
-Any contact with water = smudge. I live in singapore and it's always hot here, meaning sweat. Not good for tropical climates AT ALL.
-At least it stays put until you start sweating.
-Drying time depends on the amount of eyeliner- if you put a lot don't open your eyes fully until your sure.
-Makes a defined line (when successful, that is.)

Great liquid eyeliner. It goes on smoothly and stays put. I love that its so inexpensive also. Overall I'm really impressed with the quality of this product and will be repurchasing. Great job Rimmel!

HG liner ever! I've used countless felt tip liquid liners, gel liners, kohls, pencil...the closest I've found to HG is the benefit badgal liners but I like liquid liner to my upper lash line. This gives me such a rich glossy pigmented black colour that makes my eyes POP! Looks so amazing. The brush is very thin which allows me to make my lines as thin or thick as possible. Very easy to handle. Does not irritate my sensitive eyes (like most liquid liners do - they tend to make my lashline itch or burn) and lasts all day without fading. I'm really happy with this and am going to buy at least 4 more backups as I'm parnoid Rimmel will DC this!

I was previously using a L'oreal liquid liner but got this one for christmas, and I like it SO much better. I can have a much thinner line and it's easier to apply, I always get a straight line (which is saying a lot, I don't exactly have steady hands). I only rated a four because I find it does burn a little bit, but nothing unbearable. It also flakes off fairly easily but I find that tends to be true with any drugstore liquid liner. I would recommend.

Amazing eyeliner, would not recommend to beginners though as it has an extremely thin brush however with practise .. :)
Intense black and doesn't flake off.

This stung my eyes like there was no tomorrow. It aggravated the eczema on my eyelids and my eyes swelled up for 2 whole days.
Please think twice about purchasing this if you have eczema!! It's not very sensitive skin friendly :(

After using Almay liquid eyeliner for years and years, a friend suggested this to me, I was a bit skeptical but tried it anyways. I have not gone back to my Almay, and won't. The brush is great in this, thin and precise and its a true black, and stays all day. And it's only $4.99. I would have to say this is my HG :)

I recently ran out of my Urban Decay Liquid Eyeliner in the color Perversion and since I don't live near a Sephora, I decided to pick this liner up at a local drug store. I am amazed by it! The color payoff is very rich and dark black. The packaging on the UD eyeliner was strange and caused clumping, but this eyeliner does not clump at all. My favorite thing about this liner is the fact that when I use it in my waterline, it stays put almost all day long, which is quite amazing especially for a drugstore brand eyeliner. I am always impressed with Rimmel's liners and this is no exception. I will definately buy it again.

I think this is brilliant!!! It was the first liquid liner I ever bought and I haven't bought a different one ever! Very cheap, under a fiver. I LOVE the packaging as with all rimmel products, black and silver and really nice quality and small. I know it varies from person to person but I found this so easy to apply, It has a very thin brush so its perfect for a straight thin line for the day. I was a bit reluctant to buy it as it has a brush brush, and I had been told that you should always start out with a felt-tip pen brush, Soooo glad I didn't listen to them lol! When its on it dries in a very nice, black glossy effect and immediatley adds a little something to your eyes. The only thing that I don't like is that you can't build it to create a more dramatic, thick cat-eyeliner look easily. I have to have a seperate, thicker eyeliner for that. But this is perfect for everyday. It flakes a tiny bit but nothing to terrible. DEFINATELY reccomend for first time eyeliner-wearers lol! xx

I have been a loyal fan of this eyeliner for nearly a decade.
Previously, I had tried traditional eyeliner pencils but due to the oiliness of my skin, they either tended to smudge or, if I carefully powdered the eyelids or if I was wearing eyeshadow, the line was not intensive enough or sharp in shape. I then tried liquid liners with a felt tip but the result was a line that had an uneven distribution of color.
In my opinion this is a perfect product for everyday use:
- Once you learn the correct technique, you are able to draw perfect lines in a matter of seconds because the brush distributes the color evenly and reliably and you are able to get both very narrow and bold lines (I recommend gently wiping off the "extra" color to the inner surface of the bottle so that it's easier to control the thickness of the line you're drawing)
- If you manage to get the liquid somewhere where it shouldn't be, it's easy to wipe off (when wet) with only minimal damage to eyeshadow.
- Even if you manage to get the product to your lashes, it doesn't glue them together like some stickier products
- The line stays neat for the whole day and it even resists some light rain or a few tears
- The color is easy to remove with regular eye make-up removers
- The price is perfectly affordable considering the good quality of this product
- The brush is very durable and I once the product has ran out, I have kept the brushes so that I can use them with gel eyeliners, mineral make-up etc. to achieve similar precision also with those products.
