I realize some ppl will dislike this because I tried this at Sephora and I don't see the hype. Too much sparkle and looks like you were f*cked by a pixie. The color didn't show up on my NC30 skin like it did in the box, and after a few minutes, the sparkle fell everywhere but my cheeks, and it was just not flattering at all. Packaging isn't too bad with the magnet, I like it better than the older box style, but I'm still not a fan of the box packaging.
Good maybe for young teenagers, but I'm going to abstain from anything that'll take me back to my awkward teenage days. Would have purchased had there not been all that glitter but way too much sparkle and pigmentation didn't live up to the hype for me. Pass.

I never got into the Benefit boxed powders, but about 3 weeks ago I was browsing around Sephora looking to try something different than my NARS blushes, and the beautiful packaging that is Bella Bamba caught my eye. Next thing I noticed was the price- $28 at my Sephora in the states, which isn't bad for a nice blush in my opinion- NARS blushes are $27 but don't come with the handy litlle travel brush that all of Benefits boxed powders do. Bella Bamba has been compared to NARS Orgasm blush and I certainly see the similarities in color but I think Bella Bamba is a little more pink and shows up better on my skin Also, I don't seem to have as much fallout in comparison to my NARS, however this could be because it is in a box and it doesn't let the "blush dust" fly everywhere. I do like that the box lid is attached, it makes it easier on the go but I am careful not to push it back too far in fear that it will come apart and be like the other box lids. As for the product itself, it gives you a healthy, happy pink glow, and will easily complement any skin tone. You only need one or two swipes for great color payoff. I'm looking forward to using this in summer with a simple neutral eye. I loved this product so much that it lead me to explore other boxed powders by Benefit. I recently added Hoola bronzer and CORALista to my collection and will probably review them too after more usage.

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't really like the new packaging. I feel like if I have it long enough, it could break off? Idk, but I don't feel like it needs a mirror (I don't really need to reapply blush throughout the day....? I leave it at home) and I don't like that they downsized the product amount. HOWEVER....I love this blush. (I love Benefit box powders in general....!) I'm fair, so a little bit goes a LONG way, but this blush gives a lovely glow, pink and slightly shimmery, but not too much. It's super buildable and would look great on SO many skintones. I could use it for a day or night look. So for the blush alone, I'll give it a four! Just one off for the packaging change, it's a minor inconvenience for such a lovely blush.

I'm a big fan of benefit blushes. I own dandelion and dallas and love both. i'm asian with olive skin and dallas is pretty much my go to blush that i wear everyday.
I like dandelion as i feel it really brightens up my face but it's subtle. i got this because i felt it gives my skin more of a pop.
first of- the color- think nars orgasm ^ 2.
i feel like this is what orgasm should have been.
very finely milled, very pigmented. a pink with gold shimmer.
use a light hand.
i use the mac skunk brush.
i dont see glitter as some other reviews have written- i see
shimmer.
it gives my skin a pretty glow and really brightens my face up.
LOVE.

Lovely blush! As soon as I saw and tested it I knew this was going to work for me! I get the effect on my cheek as I really blush if I'm shy or the pink cheeks that i get from cold weather.. I own a lot of blushes from Nars like Sin, Orgasm, Deep throat, Douceur, Luster, Madly, Exibit A... Coralista another great blush from Benefit, I own a lot of MAC blushes, too faced blushes, drug store.. but nothing like bella bamba! I think I get the 3d effect.. when I smile I feel like I see my cheeks are contoured and I do not contour my cheeks :)
I love this blush.. if i ever run out I would definitely repurchase it!

As a collector of Benefit boxes of powders, this one is disappointing. 1. too much glitter; 2. the color doesn't really work out nice, I thought this kind of watermelon pink should be pretty foolproof but no...3. not pigmented enough, I had to swipe 3 times for it to show up on my NC25 skin, weird huh? my brush does picks up a lot of powder per swipe but it just doesn't show up...4. packaging has been resized and amount of product has gone from 11g/12g to 8g only. I don't care for the mirror inside the cardbox, I actually prefer the larger amount of powder in Dallas/Dandelion/Coralista over Bella Bamba with the stupid mirror.

The mirror and magnet is an improvement from previous blushers and bronzers, however I treat my makeup bag well (it all adds up at the end of the day to be honest £££££s) and have never had a problem with my other benefit products, a lot of people seem to complain about the packaging but hey I think it's just fine...
It's got a great staying power and I really like that. I love the golden shimmer and I could imagine it looking amazing in the Summer! Really brightens up my face and makes my cheeks pop. Not too sure what this 3-D business is about I thought my face was three dimensional anyway (?)
Yeah... I'd definitely buy it again!

I tried this at sephora. great blush. very pigmented so a little bit is all you need. it's too powdery for my taste and considering the cost, im afraid i might waste too much blush with the product going everywhere. the brush that comes with this isnt the best, but it's certainly not bad for touch ups. =D the color is nice too. like a pink flush

Based on my previous experiences with BeneFit products, I fully expected to hate this blush. It was free, so I decided to try it and then pass it off to a friend.
Imagine my shock and awe when I dusted bella bamba on my cheeks with my bronzer. My skin was bright, glowy and flushed with the perfect amount of golden shimmer. The glitter that's so awful looking in the container diffuses amazingly on my face.
I still hate the smell of this powder. WHY exactly does my blush need to smell like old fruit and flowers?!? Plus BeneFit is totally cheating customers by giving so much less product than the other powder boxes for the same price. I'm sure that the new magnetic closure wasn't THAT costly to make!
I got this as a freebie, so that's why I gave the price a 1. I'd never actually pay for this or any current product from BeneFit.

i love this and have been wearing it every day since i got it. i prefer matte blushes, because any other blush with gliiter or shimmer does nothing but emphasize my pores (nars orgasm). although this does have slight shimmer, it somehow manages to not emphasize pores. it creates an amazing "glow" effect. pink, pretty and perfect for me.
the scent is odd for a face product, but it is not offensive. i do prefer the new packaging over the old benefit packaging, but the lid can be a pain to close.

Honestly, the blush is awesome. The packaging I think, sucks. For the price you pay, I think you should get something other than cardboard. The brush that comes with is not so bad! It actually is one of the better brushes that come with blushes. LOVELY color...however, for the price...I am on the fence with this one...I would really like to see them fancy up the packaging!

If you find Nars Orgasm a little too orange for you, Bella Bamba is a nice alternative. All the glowiness of Orgasm, just more pink. I really love it, and a little goes a long way on my very pale skin.

This glitter is RIDICULOUS. I only wear shimmer/glitter a little at a time, and with this, it's overpowering alone. I couldn't even pair a semi-sparkly eyeshadow with it for fear of looking like a disco ball! I think this product seriously needs some reevaluation. Disappointing for Benefit..

So gorgeous! It really is a watermelon pink with a golden glow. I don't detect any glitter or ott shimmer. Very pigmented, must use a little at a time even on my medium skin. Love the new brush that comes with it and the flip box. For comparison Coralista is more of a coral pink with golden glow.

I love Benefit's boxed powders, so I grabbed this the second I saw it at my local counter. Brought it home, opened it up (hmm...smells fruity...strange, but nice), swiped it on, and swooned. I really don't understand the negative reviews here. The color is a gorgeous healthy pink and I don't see ANY glitter. After reading some of the bad reviews, I broke out my mirror and checked close up and I still don't see it. This really does have a 3D effect. I use this on the apples of my cheeks just onto my cheekbones and the slight shimmer picks up enough in the light that I can skip a highlighter (but it somehow manages to not look shimmery anywhere except the tops of my cheekbones). I'm in love. I did remove one star because the boxed powders are crazy expensive (more so than NARS blush - though you get way more product).

I was so excited to get this blush as I own Coralista (another Benefit Blush) which is amazing! However this particular Benefit product left me feeling cold. For a start it doesn't blend too well. I can't rub it in with my fingers, instead I have to give it a good buff with a brush. It doesn't last for very long either before it starts to fade, compared to my NYX blush which lasts about a good 2/3 hours.
I was also unimpressed by the new packaging which I think looks cheap and tacky. I didn't like the way you had to left it upwards to open it (as opposed to just taking the box off) as you had nowhere to tap the excess blush.
The blush itself wasn't anything special. The colour is easily duped and the shimmer didn't add anything to the product.
All in all, I'm so disappointed I wasted so much money on this. I will definitely be buying the older Benefit blushes instead. x

This is an okay product -- it has a nice texture and color. With enough blending, it can add a nice pink glow to my cheeks. However, nothing about it, in my opinion, justifies the $28 price tag. NYX blushes look more natural, blend much more smoothly, and cost 1/3 of the price.
To me, this product epitomizes the entire Benefit brand: nifty packaging and cutesy names for mediocre and overpriced products.

i haaaate the way this smells. it reminds me of that cheap makeup you buy find at the dollar store. to me, just not pleasant at all. the colour, though, is pretty awesome. what i love about this blush is that it is so easy to build up & get the colour perfect for you. i'm pretty new to benefit blushes & i will say i hate the packaging....too much work, so i'm going to depot this & put it in a magnetized palette. anyways. the colour can come off as sheer or opaque, depending on your application technique. i'm incredibly fair & this works well for me with just a super light sweep. i probably wouldn't buy this again because i don't find myself wanting to use it that much.

I worked for Benefit for many years and know the "box" products pretty well. The quality of the boxed products has always been very good... up until I tried Coralista and Bella Bamba. There is something about the texture that is not the classic Benefit chemistry. If you take a look at Dallas and how finely milled it is and how the finish blends in flawlessly, and compare it to the aforementioned blush products, you will notice a difference in quality. I am not sure if it has to do with the metallic finish, but both Coralista and Bella Bamba both have this cheap feel to them. It is unfortunate that with the beautiful coloring of these blushes that they had to use a low quality consistency. I will continue to use MAC and NARS blushes for the quality, and Benefit for products I've used for years like Ooh La Lift and High Brow.
I did give the Bella Bamba three stars because the box is more durable than previous Benefit boxes (new waterproof plastic coating around the box, the lid is now attached to the product) and a nice mirror in the inside. The color is great, but the quality is lacking.
