I love It and for 3 dollars I love it even more ! I use it to absorb oil and control my shine although I wish it was better at covering my redness but overall I love it and the mirror is a Huge plus !

I bought this powder to carry around in my bag for touch ups. After my first day dusting it onto my oily skin every few hours, I have to say that it will not serve that purpose! But! It's just the perfect tool for something else I've had a problem with.

My skin is light (mega light) and I've always had a hard time finding a good match for my near-white, neutral skin. Cool-toned foundations have served me pretty well, since I lean more pink than yellow, but my arsenal of porcelain foundations have always seemed off in their own special ways. What Complexion Perfections does is neutralize whatever is on my face to adjust it from pink to me. If you think about it, blending four pastel colors together on your brush is creating a nice bland shade of grey... add that to uneven skin tone and you are cancelling out the more contrasting colors on your face, such as redness. In my case, it's pink foundation.

Since discovering Complexion Perfection's secret power, I've tried it over several of my random foundations, the ones that may have only seen the light of day once due to mis-matching. Depending on how far off the color match was, I used a little or a lot of the powder on top and blended. Presto!

What does too much powder get you? Yup, a grey face. Just be careful not to go overboard!

I'm completely pale with hardly any blemishes. I cover under-eye circles and any spots I have with Maybelline Dream Mousse concealer in the lightest shade, then go over my whole face with this. I don't use foundation, I just use this over moisturizer and concealer to even everything out and make myself look more put together. It absorbs the oil on my nose and disguises the pores there, too. It offers hardly any coverage, and it's very pale, which suits me and is actually exactly what I was looking for- for $3!!

I'll admit, I'm LOVING most E.L.F. products. I've had incredible luck with their brushes, their eye-shadows are very decent (especially considering the price) and I swear by their blushes (possibly my favorite E.L.F. product).

This product however, I have mixed reviews on. I'm mostly using a matte mousse foundation and I use this powder to set it (even though, technically, it doesn't really need it, I always set my foundation with powder, regardless of the formula). It DOES brighten my skin a little but also, it's easy to use too much and it leaves a white sort of cast on my face. I'll say that's more my fault though, since I'm using it over a mousse foundation. I haven't tried it yet combined with a liquid foundation but I imagine that the results would be very different if I did.

I DID hit pan very quickly. I've been using it every day for about 3 weeks (a little more) and I think I hit pan after about a week and a half. I won't complain about that though, since this was only 3 dollars.

I LOVE the packaging. I think it looks sleek, is definitely sturdy and the full sized mirror is great.

There is only one Target that I know of that sells E.L.F. in my area and I was there yesterday to purchase more E.L.F. stuff and I didn't pick this up again as I'm not completely out. I DO regret that. Next time I go I will repurchase this product.

Is it the best powder out there? No. Is it the best for it's 3 dollar price tag? I'd say so, as long as you're not looking for more than a setting and a slight brightening powder. For the price, it's most definitely worth trying.

It's very powdery like and it doesn't cover my dark spots, just redness. Each color on the palette is the same white powder. It's good for its price but it would be more better if it wasn't so powder like and more concentrated in color.

I like using this to set my makeup. I've tried using this by itself and it doesn't do much for me in terms of correcting my skin tone or absorbing oil. However, I don't have oily skin and my skin tone is pretty even so yeah. If I put on too much blush or bronzer, I use this to tone it down. It doesn't make me look cakey. I'd definitely buy this again.

I like this a lot. I use it to even out my skin tone after I apply foundation....so I use it to neutralize the foundation color and help it blend more easily into my neck. I think it does a good job! My foundation matches almost perfectly and this stuff helps it be 100%.

I'd buy again anytime I order from ELF, but my only gripe is I hit pan after like 2 uses. The cake is paper thin. They don't give you hardly any, but for $3, what do you expect?

Its a nice powder. Doesnt really cover, just gives a matte finish. The powder is almost white but it suits my fair skin :) Cute packaging!

I have oily, acne-prone skin with lots of redness due to rosacea. I absolutely love my EDM mint green concealer but it's a little expensive, especially once you factor in the shipping. I'm almost out of the EDM, so I decided to give this product a try since it's cheaper.

I swipe my brush over all the colors and apply to moisturized skin prior to putting on my foundation. My main goal is to cover that all over redness that I suffer from. It takes several coats to cover the redness but blends easily and I don't find it to be chalky. Also, I'm fairly pale, so I'm not worried about looking ghostly :) This doesn't settle into my pores, except around the nose (but then everything looks bad around my nose,) and it doesn't turn my face into an oil slick. The coverage isn't stellar but makes up for what the concealer is lacking. So far it hasn't irritated my rosacea (thank goodness, I hope I'm not jinxing myself here!), doesn't make me itchy or cause breakouts.

If you purchase this expecting it to cover actual raised blemishes or provide coverage on its own then you will most likely be disappointed. But if you plan to use this in combination with another product or want to minimize general redness then this is worth a try. It's also super cheap for 3 bucks at Target and the packaging is cute and sturdy.

I still love my EDM concealer, but as long as I'm broke, I'll keep buying this instead.

Overall, a nice product. No coverage whatsoever, but it actually helps to conceal some redness. It also keeps my combination skin oil-free for at least a few hours.
I will definitely buy it again!

I love this Product, I use it everyday, and it minimizes my Pores! I've never had anything I use do that. It's great. And a really good price too. I'm definitely going buy another one of these and one for my mother too. It covers up my redness perfectly, and I don't have to wear anything else.

I think this powder is a good product, but you should not expect too much by its concealing effect. I mostly use it by mixing all colors and using it as a powder all over my face. the color is pretty pale so I recommend it only if you have a fair complexion.
and also you have to use a minimum amount, otherwise the effect is a bit too chalky. for its price I think it gives a really nice result. I do not have oily skin but anyway noticed that the powder absorbs pretty well and avoids shiny effect.
I also love the packaging and I think for the price you pay it's definetly a good product for eveyday.

This product can be somewhat chalky if applied too much. I generally sweep a powder brush over the entire thing and use it as a blot powder. I keep this in my makeup bag for school and in my purse, and I use this by the end of the day to absorb oils. It actually does help! I think the powder is great for a fast and quick touch up.

Silky in texture. Is not very pigmented, which is a good thing. Serves as a setting powder to your foundation and/ or concealer and also tones down certain complexion imperfections. Love the product. The packaging is identical to that of the warm bronzer. Since I do not need much coverage, I prefer to use this product rather than compressed powders. Feels great on your skin. It is somewhat scary to look at at first, but NO you will not looks like a clown. You can use the colours individually or mix them up, I tend to mix the whole lot together. Before blending, it may look slightly white on your skin, but it is so easily blendable. Highly recommended. I use it daily. - Do not have overly high hopes for this product. No- it will not magically make all your redness disappear, nor will it vanish all you pimples. It will just help to even out your skintone- just a bit. Don't expect miracles.

I don't think this is what caused my breakout around my nose area, but I did notice this product had a strange smell to it. Since smelling it... I can't bring myself to use it. When I did, it didn't really do anything stellar. Oh, well.. at least it was only $3 and not like $30 down the drain!

This is my favorite finishing powder from Elf. I'm always afraid the pressed powder will change the color of my foundation, and the translucent one has a good finish but almost no product compared to this one.

This product should not be chalky, I don't know why other reviewers say it is. You use it with a fluffy brush.

It just absorbs shine and sets your make-up. Perfect if you're on a budget!

I don't really understand products like this that claim to even out your skin tone, I think the only products that really do that are foundation, tinted moisturizers, and concealers.
This is just like putting a white powder on your face. If you have redness from acne this will do close to nothing to help minimize it.
I guess the only purpose I see for it is that it adsorbs the oils on your face. I really like the packaging though. Even though its a cheap product, the packaging is very sturdy and sleek. I also like that it comes with a mirror.

I have purchased this powder three times, once because my mom used it once and then stole it from me (haha), once for my purse, and once for my makeup bag at home. I have extremely fair skin with a reddish undertone, and I do not use foundation. When I use this powder over primer and tinted moisturizer, it makes a HUGE difference in my skin. I am obsessed. I apply it with a Bare Minerals buffing brush. When I put it on over dry, bare skin I definitely see the greyish tint people complain of, but on well-moisturized, primed skin it works wonders on my fair skin.

The biggest negative of this product is that you do have to reapply often, but with an extra in my bag this is never a problem for me. I swear by this powder to reduce my redness and will most definitely buy it again.
