I have the Loreal HIP jelly balm in luscious.
I love how I can wear this without looking like I just applied a bunch of colors to my lips. It gives you a really nice berry kissed look that is very subtle. Although it looks a bit dark, trust me. These balms are sheer. It looks really nice.
also, might I mention this container is exactly the same as one of those benefit eyeshadows I have.
I took off a lippie because
1. the container chipped.
2. application is pretty sticky. (dont apply this unless your hands are clean!)

I love this lip balm, it is a little sticky but it's not a big deal to me. You do have to use your fingers because the product doesn't go on well if you use a lip brush, so if you don't like using you fingers then you probably shouldn't get this. It comes with a lot of product and last a long time. It gives your lips a nice glow and lasts a long time
UPDATE!: After having the product for awhile, i decided to change this to 1 star, the product is extremely sticky, and doesn't moisturize moisturize your lips. DON'T buy this product.

One of my favorite lip products. Better than typical lip balms, nice density, great shine, good amount of color, smells yummy, and I like the sound of the cap as it unscrews. Solid, tough packaging that has survived being dropped several times, and all the colors are wearable. I have every color and didnt think twice about the cost...less than tendertones and by far a better product. If you want to try just one, I would try the lighter pink or orange/pink shade (savory I think), you will be surprised at the lovely tone it gives lips and the amt of moisture.

Love love love! I bought the color "Savory" which is the peachy orange one. I think the packaging is a little deceiving though, because when you open it up, it's more of a true peach (slight pink tint) than straight up orange, and I freakin love it. The color goes on sheer, but you can layer it and it'll show up brighter. The texture is like a smooth balm, only perhaps just a bit stickier. Overall though, very silky and fairly long-lasting for a lip product. It lasts longer than all my glosses. The finish is shiny, but not too shiny. More than a balm, less than a gloss. It looks surprisingly natural and pretty. The smell is a sweet smell (kind of reminds me of graham crackers, lol), but it's not very strong, which I like. It doesn't really have a taste. I bought this on clearance for $4; I would never pay full price (like $10) for something like this, as good as it is. If you can find it on sale though, definitely pick it up. It's currently my favorite lippie.

I bought this after reading a review posted here. I really like this product. For me, this is everything MAC Tendertones aren't. It leaves a nice glossy finish, smooth texture, and no strong scent. That was my biggest problem with the Tendertones. I hope they come out with a larger selection of colors. I will be picking up a few more.

I have one in Delectable. It is a sheer red.It last awhile for a gloss, but I think that has to do with it being so sticky, which I don't mind because it doesn't feel"heavy".It is pricey for a drugstore gloss, but you get so much product and you only need a small amount that one would last forever and I love the glass pot it comes in!I I might buy Succulent because it looks like SUCH a pretty color for a gloss.

*** EDIT**** 01/02
I now have 2 more of these, one in savory, and one in delectable. Savory and Luscious (review below) are being discontinued I think, both were on clearance at my rite aid, and on L'Oreal's website, they only have 4 colors listed, these two are missing form the line up. Anyway Savory is a pretty coral color, again it is very sheer, sheerer than luscious ( a plum/wine color) but I love it for everyday (got it for 2.25 at rite aid) and delectable is a red color, pretty well pigmented but not OTT, just like a nice stain effect (doesn't last like a stain, but think of eating a red Popsicle then putting shiny gloss over it) I paid full price for it at my target, something like 7.50. I love these so much that they are all I have been using, my lips feel so good, and have improved since I have been wearing them, I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I need to get the other 3 colors....
Just got this today from ebay, for about 1.50 in the color luscious and I love it, I was afraid it was gonna be too dark. But I was surprised at how sheer the plum/berry color was it gives my lips a nice boost of color, almost MLBB look. The feel is nice not sticky, very smooth. I like the little glass container, it looks more expensive than what I paid for it. I want to try more colors if I can get them for this cheap.

I bought this in the shade ripe for halloween, thinking it would look like a deep, red gloss (vampirey!) but instead of getting the costumey look I was going for I was surprised: the color was sheer and glossy, and was actually the kind of lip gloss/balm that I had been looking for: it looks very natural and adds a pretty pop of color, and you can make it more dramatic by applying a little more of the balm and it won't become gooey or sticky. Really, it just makes your lips look very healthy. It hydrates pretty well also, and I'm using it right now for my chapped lips. It has a very light scent that goes away quickly, kind of sugary, kind of fruity.
Packaging isn't so bad, but it can kind of fool you--theres a much smaller amount of product in it for the size of the container. Its pretty durable however and can easily be stashed away in a purse. Another plus is that it makes it look kind of fancy xD
I was telling my friends about this balm after I bought a few of the other colors (the hot pink one and the orangey one, both of which look fantastic as well) and the few with darker skin said they did not like the product as much, saying it didn't show up well, so thats just something to think about for african americans, latinos, darker skinned asians, ect.
But for me this is a 5/5. A wee bit expensive, but I may reconsider the price after I see how long it lasts.

I picked up the darkest color and the coral one, both go on alot sheerer than they look in the pot. Very nice color, the darker shade is a perfect mlbb shade, the coral almost does not show up on my lips, but mine are very tinted naturally. I picked these up at the 99 cent store, I think these two colors may be discontinued, they also had the eyeshadows that look like the Mac eye paints. I am going back and stocking up. Honestly I would pay regular price, I like these alot, I think they have better shades than Mac does.

I got this in Savory and Luscious from Ebay, since I can find one in my local drugstore. First I didn't want to buy these two color since I usually use pink lip gloss, but Savory is kind of orange and Luscious is plum.
But these two were cheaper than other color, so I got them.
Love them so much. Just like I expect.
The texture is nice. There is little bit of scent but not a lot.
The color is better than I thought. Maybe because it's sheer, but I like the way it look on my lip.

Everyone raves about these, but I don't really care for them. First, the colors are REALLY sheer. I have Succulent (a kinda mauve/ light purple color) and Ripe (a really red color). Succulent doesn't show up on my lips at all and Ripe gives only a hint of color. They also don't give a really glossy finish, but I guess that's why they area called balms and not jelly gloss.
They do have a nice flavor, silky (and not sticky or slippery) texture and convenient package. While most people complain about the "unsanitary" pot, it's actually my favorite part of the product. It's really easy to use and you can scrape every last bit of gloss out. Also it's less likely to leave the cap on loose and having it leak in your pants pocket.
All in all, for the price of these I'm better off using plain old lipgloss, though if these were on sale I might buy them again.

I have quite a few items from the HIP collection (pigments, e/s, cream colors, e/l, etc.) but the jellybalms are by far my favorite. I am more of a lipgloss kind of girl but these are amazing. I really like these the only down side would be the the cost. Typically I don't really like to spend alot of money for really anything, but they usually have a few BOGOs and such going on. This product is probably the only makeup item I would spend a little bit more money for. I love the little hint of candy smell. The packaging if very durable and fairly small, to fit in your purse. This gloss lasts a pretty decent amount of time and is very smooth. There is absolutly no stickiness to it. As you've probably heard typically you apply the product with your finger, which isn't too bad. It lasts a fairly decent amount of time if you use it alot, like I do. I really like it, the only thing is it seems like I only get the perfect amount on my finger but it keeps disappearing in the jar! :O Very nice!
Lexi

I just bought the High Intensity Lip Jelly In "Succulent" . I have dark brown skin and wanted a pinkish gloss to wear with a little brown lip liner. I usually buy more high end makeup so I am so pleased at the price! On my bare lips I spread the jelly on. A nicely pigmented sheer raspberry pink or I call it, a "rich pink". Not at all bubble gummy or cotton candy. Then I lightly lined my lips with Chestnut Mac lipliner and blended. Gorgeous! The beautiful pink gloss I was looking for. Just like all the stars wear and you KNOW the makeup artist mixed at least 2 or 3 shades for them, you know? It gives me a fresh, very pretty, very sophisticated pink lip look. I will definitely buy more and get the next darker shade.

I just love this product! I found out about it here on MUA from the reviews so I went out and bought one at full price. That is the only downside is that these are pretty pricey for ds at $9 bucks a pop. Wait until a sale or BOGO. Anyhow, it doesn't have much color pay off but just a nice glossy and super moisturizing balm. I got mine in Savory the orange one and it smells delicious but doesn't have a taste. Also staying power is pretty good but I keep reapplying this all day because I love the smell and feel on my lips sooo moisturizing!

This product is OK. I thought that b/c it was HIP the color would be really intense, but then again, it is a balm and not a gloss. The consistency is really smooth and the taste/fragrance is barely noticeable, so no annoying gummy tastes here. I don't think I would but it for $9, so I am glad Ulta had it on sale for $4.49, which is the reason I tried it. It's ok, it's just a balm but I think it's good enough to keep in my bag and use for touch-ups during the day when I don't want a full-on 'I just put some gloss on in the office' look.

I really LOVE these balm/glosses! The packaging is what caught my eye, but the product is even better! it is moisturizing, and that is a must for me. It smells great too, sweet. It lasts a decent amount of time, but it's not sticky. I will repurchase these - but they seem to be getting discontinued in Canada because they;re on sale everywhere!

This is wonderful! They are a bit overpriced at 8 USD a pop, but it's worth it! These come in a pot, which I like because if it was in any other packaging, it would be a bit hard to apply. These are JUST what they advertise. They are very moisturizing and so pretty. They had a nice sheer color. The one I have is in ripe, but it's the old kind so idk if the new kind is good. It has a very light scent that is like cotton-candy meets caramel. They aren't sticky, but they stay on for at least 2-3 hours without drinking or eating. They are thick and jelly-ish, but not sticky. I go to school so I don't really get time to reapply any lip gloss. This will last at least until 4rth period for those who also go to school. Hope this helps!

I own three shades...can't recall the names now but it doesn't matter..i'd buy them all. They go on the perfect sheerness and perfect amount of shine. great for someone like me that likes to do a heavy eye instead of lip.
