Sampled this in Dillards today, and all I have to say is: "To each her own..." When it comes to Ed Hardy EDT, this lady will pass... I guess I must not be a part of the target market for this one. From start to finish, I was turned off. First off, the bottle was way too busy for my taste and (honestly) tacky imo... And it didn't get any better when I sampled the juice... To my nose, the perfume smelled like a cross between pink bubble gum and brandied fruit cocktail syrup. Definitely not for me... but that's okay... AS IF I need another bottle of perfume anyway!!!! ;-)

I received a few samples of this at Macy's and decided to give it a go while there. I must admit I was apprehensive given the reviews that liken it to Pink Sugar or Ralph Wild. It is sweet but not disgustingly so and was wonderful from start to finish on my skin. The strawberries add a bright and delightful opening that I haven't found in any other perfume with the same note. I know I'm not the only one who loves this as a friend caught a whiff of it on me, begged me for a sample, and now owns two bottles herself lol. I can see how I might be an exception to the rule so I strongly suggest snatching up a sample to try first. I have close ties with the music scene and love tattoos so I was hoping for a scent to wear to shows and play off my vintage rock shirts. One lippy off since there is no edge to be found whatsoever and the lasting power leaves much to be desired. I realize the packaging is a huge draw on this one but was still surprised to see the GWP sets sell out so quickly. I inquired with the clerk and was told Mother's Day was the culprit at blame. I'm guessing many a teen bought this for good ole mom just to have the free tote.

I was at Macy's and I received a sample of this when I was buying another fragrance. After I tried it I knew I had to have it. I went back and bought the gift set which I must say was a great deal. I would compare it to Victoria Secret's pink only better. I actually had someone ask me what I was wearing and write it down so she could go buy some. The bottle is cool looking too. The only thing is when you pick it up the bottle slips out easy from the top so be carefull not to drop it.

I have been looking for a light and fun summer fragrance. Amazing Grace has been a staple for quite a few summers. I find AG feminine, refreshing and clean, but lacking the "fun-factor". So, I tried Ed Hardy fragrance last week and loved it. I should note that this is was after trying several fragrances. I didn't purchase the fragrance that day, but regretted it all the way home. It smelled so light and pretty on my wrist, a sweet, strawberry floral. So, I went back to the store yesterday and purchased the 3.4 oz. There were no Ed Hardy LE tote bags left. Oh, well. When I got home, I happily sprayed my fragrance and all I got was a blast of grapefruit and wierd floral sharpness. I guess my nose had been through too many fragrances before trying Ed Hardy on the first occasion. Anyway, there is a "bubblegum" middle note, which some will like and the drydown is pleasant. Most of the sharpness disappears, resulting in a melon/strawberry floral. Not as sweet as I had originally thought. This is a pleasant fragrance, although generic and lacking sex-appeal.

I must confess I was drawn in like a magnet to the bottle, but was definitely let down by the juice. I wholeheartedly agree with the reviewer (rachelgirl) who likened this to Betsey Johnson's fragrance. It's sweet and fruity, a bit tangy and not terribly complex. Too fruity for me, I was hoping it would be more vanilla, even if it is of the pudding variety, but it just wasn't there. And then there's the whole 'Love kills slowly' skull tattoo thing - Emo-resounding graphics and a purely Lolita scent. Mr. Hardy, you'll make a killing. But not from me. No sale.

Wow, this is like a cross between Bubblicious Watermelon bubblegum and a rejected Escada trial. Laughably bad; shrewd marketing.

The bottle is really neat. The packaging is cute. To me, the perfume smells like raspberries and roses. I love it.

I'm no perfume aficionado, but I really like this scent! Now I'm a sucker for sweet scents, and this scent smells like candy! When I smell this perfume those candy hearts from Valentine's day come to mind, yummmmm. It is a very sweet fruity floral scent. I LOL'd when I saw that one of the notes is "vanilla pudding" It really smells delish, but not overly sweet, like Angel or Pink Sugar... this is a much lighter and fresher version of those, but it has decent lasting power. It smells very young, no powdery old lady perfume here (no offense ;) So yes, I would buy this again, and I absolutely love the bottle too, very cute!!

I probably shouldn't be writing a review for this since most perfumes smell the same to me and my nose isn't all supercool, sniffing out specific scents and whatnot. I don't even have a bottle of this--just the sample from the Elder-Beerman ad. I opened it this morning at about 6:30 am, rubbed it on my wrists and neck, and I can still smell it now 13 hours later!! And it smells GOOD. I actually really like this stuff, I can't believe it. I'm going to buy a full bottle of it--partly to get the rockin' "love kills slowly" tote that comes with it (I hope they're not all gone!). Now, I usually get really sick of perfumes after 2 or 3 weeks, but I'm willing to risk that for this perfume. I love it!!

So, so , so, sad that this did not live up to the totally cool looking bottle. I expected a sex and candy smell (whatever that is). I guess I was reaching for sweet, sexy, smokey, and just that mmmmm...factor something completley unexpected. As soon as I sprayed it the two fragrances that came to mind are Estee Lauder's Delightful and Ralph's Wild :( I own the EL which I really like so it wouldn't make sense to buy this one =/ I was really looking forward to owning this-so maybe once I'm out of Delightful I "might" replace it w/this. I did notice that the staying power isn't good either :( but I do agree w/other reviews that this is pretty generic and is just a cookie cutter of all the recent fragrances out now.

I finally received a sample of this. I have been dying to try it and let me start by saying this... as cool, unique, rock 'n' roll and edgy as the packaging is, this stuff is rather subtle and not too terribly different. I was expecting a lot more from Ed Hardy! Pretty underwhelming. This stuff is nice and I like it, but I would not buy a full bottle. I've smelled it somewhere before, and the most I can compare it with is Escada's perfume... it has the same super-fruitiness that Escada perfumes have. Also, the lasting power really sucks; it was really strong and packed with fruit as soon as I sprayed it, but then 5 minutes later I can hardly smell it and it has dwindled down to a bubbly cheap Barbie perfume smell. As for the initial spray, I got an INTENSE tropical burst of mango and grapefruit that I loved... and then it very quickly dries down to a barely noticeable strawberry mango, and then it went away. I can't imagine a woman wearing this and standing out. I want to love it but I can't - it just doesn't make a statement. I could easily see a 13 year old girl wearing this. Get a sample first, seriously!

Notes as mentioned on NowSmellThis:
Ed Hardy by Christian Audigier for women is a fruity floral with notes of apple soufflé, mango, wild strawberry, rudy red grapefruit, freesia petals, watery muguet, linden blossom, warm amber, musk, tonka bean and vanilla pudding.

As for wearing it, it's very laid back and good for everyday wear.
The comparisons below are fair. It does have the personality of Ralph Wild and CK Euphoria, but it is far from smelling anything like Betsey Johnson and holds nothing masculine (in my opinion and on my skin). It is generic, though, as previous reviewer stated.

I smelled this in the magazine and was instantly reminded of many other fragrances I smelled before, the likes of Betsey Johnson and Ralph Wild. It's very intense, juicy,FRUITY scent that is very young,a little masculine and pretty generic.Must be quite strong and lasting, because the smell lingered on my hand where I rubbed the page long after washing it.

Okay first thing first...I have NOT sampled this product but, I'm solely basing this review on the bottle itself!!! AWESOME! For those of you who don't know Ed Hardy is a tattoo artist. The bottle is designed to look like tattoo's. It fits my personality perfect. A fruity/floral which, to me didn't fit the bottle. No..I wasn't expecting it to smell like cigs,Harley exhaust and sweat either!!! But, I guess you cant judge perfume by the bottle either. Here are some of the notes listed: Tropical Mango, Wild Strawberries, Ruby Red Grapefruit, Black Freesia and Amber. EDIT: I just got a sample of this from my new friend on MUA and I must say she is dead-on when she says intense! VERY fruity mango. Again, she is right when she says it's like the fruity Escada scents. I do however, like the drydown the best. But, it lacks staying power and I hate that. If I'm going to shell out $$$ for perfume...I want to smell it on me HOURS later. Not sure if I will purchase or not? A+++++ on the bottle!
