I adore this parfum. One of my favourite fragrances and will always be!

This is a nice light fresh scent. I received this from my yearbook advisor right before christmas break. She received it from one of her students and didn't like how it went with her body chemistry and I told her it smelt lovely, so she offered it to me. It was nice of her, I haven't worn this out yet, but I like its lemony freshness :) this stuff is pretty pricey if I didn't get it from her, so I doubt I'd buy it again...

I don't know why some people seem to hate this scent, but I think it might have to do with their body chemistry.
To me, Light Blue by Dolce & Gabbana has a subtle fruity floral scent which is perfect for day time wear. Some people claim it has a lemony scent, while I think it smells more like orange on me, with a touch of floral notes.
My husband likes the smell on me (he says I smell like some kind of fruit or sweet candy, he can't describe it), as well as my grand mother in law.
This scent is perfect for anyone who likes light scents with a touch of both fruit and flower notes.
**EDIT: At the moment, this is my HG perfume. Most perfumes tend to give me a horrible headache after awhile, but not Light Blue. It smells sweet, but not sickeningly sweet like some stronger perfumes. I do agree that it's lasting power isn't too strong, but I love this smell. :) It tends to calm me down as well when I have a headache since it is a light pleasant smell.

Asked for this for Christmas after reading Chandler Burr's five star review in the NYT. It is indeed truly lovely - Sicilian lemon over a base of cedar. I don't know enough about scents to describe its architecture, but I find it refreshingly light and purely glorious. Maybe too evanescent, though - it's unfortunate that there's nothing stronger than an eau de toilette. I layer it with the body cream from the gift set to make it last through the day, although it does have staying power along my cleavage!

Smells like bug spray...and not just on me, but whenever I catch a whiff of, well, bug spray at the mall I know someone's wearing Light Blue.

I got a lovely big bottle of this perfume and was so excited. But when I put it on it smelled awful on me. I've worn it a few times and each time it's the same result. All I can smell is a lemon cleaning solution. Fortunately my friend loves it so I gave it to her.

OMG! I am so shocked by the negative comments! I ADORE this perfume, I love the scent I find it very addictive, it was bought for me as a present, which I never opened, and when I saw somebody raving about it, I opened it up, fell in love with the scent, and used it everyday. I dont think that this is necessarily just for 15 year old girls, but I agree that it is more a young person scent.

Want a much cheaper alternative? Try The Body Shop's limited edition Apple Blossom line. I tried it recently and couldn't put my finger on where I'd smelled it before... until I remembered Light Blue. Try it -- I think you'll agree they are extremely similar.

Sorry to offend, but this is for the unsophisticated, promiscuous 15-year-old in high school trying to catch all the boys attention with their noses... which causes watery eyes because this perfume is absolutely awful.

This smells exactly like kleenex tissues. It's a floral which explains why I hate it.
