I love this product!! It keeps my skin feeling smooth and soft, not overdried at all, plus it keeps the pimples at bay, I would definately buy this again!

I had a friend use this and his pimples almost immediately cleared. This exfoliates well but is a tad too drying for me. It has got a pleasant medicated smell, though. :)

I have been using this for years. I have very oily, acne prone skin and it does a great job of cleaning my skin. I use this every day in the shower and immediately after I use Brevoxyl (4% Benzoil Peroxide) Medicated Face wash and it does a wonderful job of clearing up my skin. I haven't had a breakout in months. You'd never think you'd break out at 29, but I do! I buy this every time I'm in the store. I don't like to run low! I have used other scrubs, medicated and non medicated and I always come back to this one.

Wow I can't believe how much I love this stuff. I even like the strange apricot medicinal smell. My skin feels ultra-smooth and looks perfect after using this and my blackheads are decidedly less visible. I like a scrub that feels like it's doing something and this one is effective without being harsh, if used appropriately. I use it every 2 days or so. The packaging is stuck in the 80s but the effectiveness of the product (and its hugely attractive cheapness) negates my complaint.
Edit Sept 2004: I've gone back to this after a horrid stress-related pimple blitzkrieg on my face, when Lancome just was not up to the job. Got rid of those nasty huge zits in two days!

The scrubbers really exfoliate and leaves my skin feeling and looking so smooth. I use this 2-3 times a week...more if my skin looks like "blah" and it also helps clear up my skin a little bit. I'm not too fond of the smell though but I guess that it's alright since it contains 2% salicyclic acid and the smell might have came from that. Five outta five, baby.

The best scrub I had ever used before I tried Dr. Brandt's Microdemabrasion in a Jar. But in terms of price, St Ives' Medicated Apricot Scrub totally wins. After wash, my face feels dramatically smoother and I seems to have less breakout.

when my sister moved out she forgot this, but said i could keep it. lucky me! i think this scrub is great. it cleans out my pores and my skin is less oily. i use it once or twice a week, and scrub very gently, and i'm left with soft, smooth skin. for me it sorta tingles, but i think it's not for ppl w/ sensitive skin, b/c my BIL used it and said it burned. so if u don't have super sensitive skin, i recommend this!

i have been using this since I was a teenager...I love this stuff. It certainly won't perform miracles, but it is a nice semi-abrasive scrub, it leaves your face feeling soft and non oily (my face is like an oil-slick), and some people have commented on it's weird smell, but I honestly do not notice it.
Probably not the best for those with sensitive skins, but for those of us with greasy faces, it's an awesome product.

One of my favorite skin products. It's lighly abrasive so it doesn't damage your skin yet it's still strong enough to clear up blackheads and exfoliate the skin. I use this once a week and it's made a dramatic difference with my skin. Plus it's only $3.50 a tube at any drugstore. Such a bargain!

I've bounced around between the regular and sensitive versions of the Apricot Scrub in the past. I'm now hooked on the Medicated Apricot Scrub. My skin is super oily and needs a great deal of exfoiliation. This scrub does the trick. The smell is a bit strong but not too bad. It is definitely NOT a product for those of us with sensitive skin...I have a feeling it would be too irritating. I haven't been able to keep up with my Aspirin scrubs lately but this medicated scrub keeps me clean and fresh on its own.

This is a really good scrub. It exfoliates my skin nicely, and isn't too harsh (although I like harsh scrubs).

The best cheap, strong scrub out there. I like that it is medicated. I use it when I break out. This and Clinique's Sparkle Skin in the jar are my HG exfoliators. My only gripe is that the scrubby bits are rather large and unevenly cut so I do worry about small microscopic tears into the skin. Sometimes man made is better, I prefer a round bead in my scrub. When I do use this, I rub very gently. I have repurchased often though, it has its purpose.

This and Clinque 7 Day Scrub are my HG for exfoliation- after using this I *really* feel clean and smooth. Not the for the sensitive or thin skinned!!

Kind of drying, and did ZIP for zits. I just don't like the feel of St. Ives scrubs, they just feel too abrasive.

Very cheap, creamier than other scrubs I've tried. My skin feels pretty dry after using it, but that may be because it's winter too. Worked awesome on my acne spots on my body.

I didn't try that many scrubs, only clinique and st. ives, and I have to say that st. ives is much better, and much cheaper! I like the regular apricot scrub too, but this one is thicker and easier to apply, the smell is better, and the creamy texture make the beads less harsh on the skin. The beads are hard to get rid of afterwards, but it's only a minor hassle. The blackheads don't disappear, but they seem smaller, and my skin is much brighter when I use this product regularly (every 2 days).

This product was not good for my very sensative face at all. Maybe I was scrubbing too hard? My skin hurt after using this and I broke out all over in tiny little bumps. . .it works well for other people though.

I feel it is too harsh to use on my skin so I only use it when I'm breaking out or have dry patches but it's also great to use on your body. Makes for a smoother shave.
