I wear Jane Iredale pressed base every day. I am very fair and Bisque matches my skintone perfectly. I have an oily T-zone though and it does seem to slide off my nose and chin area by lunchtime but if you are like me and you cannot stand to have a liquid foundation then it is a great alternative to cake makeup. The price is a bit high (if I buy it locally from my esthician I pay about $43.00). I am still searching for the perfect powder foundation and until then JI is the best.

I'm in love with this product after receiving a nearly new compact in Bisque as a swap extra. It is the perfect shade and coverage for my acne-prone combination NC15 skin. I can use more where I need it (i.e. nose, blemishes) by using a sponge, otherwise I just brush it all over lightly with a fluffy powder brush. I never would have tried it if I hadn't gotten it in the swap, since the retail price is $36, but after being able to see how great it is, I might have to buy some!

I was really excited about trying this product and as my normal makeup is the kanebo all in one base which has minerals in it too i did not expect a reaction to it. HOW WRONG I WAS !!It is now 2 days since i tried it and my face is still covered in a rash and really itchy, what a horrible product. The colour changes quite a bit throughout the day also and in my case the 'natural'went from pale to a dark unnatural pinky colour by the afternoon. Be warned try the sample first.

I had to work with this but once I got the hang of it i will use no other foundation. It goes on great dry, wet, over a liquid foundation, just anything. I don't need to use concealer anymore and touch up is a breeze. If it just weren't so expensive!

I just tried out the purepressed in Warm Silk. It was a great match for my pale (Almay Buff), acne prone, ruddy skin, and the coverage was superb. It gives a very natural finish and I was able to cover all of my broken caps around my nose without looking like I had a mask on. I did have to blot and touch up at noon though because I'm extremely oily and have yet to find any product that could control this. No break-outs as of yet, but I'll update if I do...

Although a tad on the expensive side, it is definitely worth the price. Excellent, long lasting coverage, in a range of shades.

I really wanted to like this product. Ever since I heard about mineral foundations I have so wanted to find one that actually looked good on me. I tried Bare Escentuals mineral foundation and it was really bad. I didn't want to give up on mineral foundations because I have acne prone skin and everything tends to break me out. So I thought I would try another brand. This stuff is better than the Bare Escentuals brand but still not that great and definitely not worth the really high price tag. It would be excellent for a powder but not for a foundation. I don't think that anything could beat the appearance of liquid foundation, I just need to find one that doesn't break me out. This stuff accentuated my visible pores, didn't have any coverage or staying power on my pimples or red acne scars and to get enough coverage I had to go with more application and then it looked too orange and unnatural. I used Bisque, which is the lightest neutral color I could get and it still was a little dark and orangey on me. I'm glad I bought a sample from WTF and just wasted $6. So far it hasn't broken my skin out but what difference does that make if it looks like crap. This is just another powder. I really wish that someone would come out with a mineral powder that would work because there are advantages. It is light weight, doesn't smell, has a high SPF level, is gentle on skin, easy and clean to apply and leaves a glowing finish. This would probably be good for someone with invisible pores and not many blemishes because it does even out skin tone and has a nice dewey finish. They need to come out with better colors too.

This is just powder. I wouldn't call it a foundation. The colors are pretty good (bisque is VERY light), but there is no coverage and the "shine" shines through if you know what I mean. Thanks to another MUA reviewer who turned me on to whosthefairest.com to order samples (free sample shipping in my case) so I didn't spend too much giving it a try.

I must say that this pressed powder really is amazing!! I have rosacea and must have a good cover and this really did it's job! I first picked the color "Warm Silk" because it's a yellowbased but I looked more orange in it and it darkens a bit during the day, so I tried Bisque instead and it was a great match, beige but not pink more yellowbased.

This powder just looks better during the day!

Unfortantyl it irrited my skin, which started to itch, but my skin is very sensitve due to my rosacea, otherwise I would buy it again.

Definitely one of my hall of fame powder foundations. One of the few I used so much I can actually see a good portion of the bottom pan. I have it in 2 colors--Warm Silk is the one I have just about used up completely. Bisque is strictly a wintertime only color b/c it is quite light on me. I apply it with a kabuki brush and use the puff to lightly pat it onto my undereye area, many times sans concealer. I like it better than the LM Powder Foundation--I had that one in #3, but for my skin, this one performed better. Long lasting, with buildable coverage, though I prefer it best sheer.
