I must say that this pressed powder really is amazing!! I have rosacea and must have a good cover and this really did it's job! I first picked the color "Warm Silk" because it's a yellowbased but I looked more orange in it and it darkens a bit during the day, so I tried Bisque instead and it was a great match, beige but not pink more yellowbased. This powder just looks better during the day!Unfortantyl it irrited my skin, which started to itch, but my skin is very sensitve due to my rosacea, otherwise I would buy it again.Buy it here:www.skindeepiii.com (great service!)www.dermstore.com

Definitely one of my hall of fame powder foundations. One of the few I used so much I can actually see a good portion of the bottom pan. I have it in 2 colors--Warm Silk is the one I have just about used up completely. Bisque is strictly a wintertime only color b/c it is quite light on me. I apply it with a kabuki brush and use the puff to lightly pat it onto my undereye area, many times sans concealer. I like it better than the LM Powder Foundation--I had that one in #3, but for my skin, this one performed better. Long lasting, with buildable coverage, though I prefer it best sheer.

i find that the powder works best on skin when the moisturiser is well absorbed. which should be the case anyway. for ladies who have trouble, apply some witch hazel astringent on the t-zone post moisturiser then apply the foundation lightly. it is one of the best bases available because it protects the skin and evens it out to perfection. it takes a little practise, when you get the hang of it-- you are on to a winner. p/s: it doesnt rub off on clothes once it sets but the skin can breathe. to remove,, use eve lom's cleanser and you'll never have a problem with breakouts!! trust me-- try it ladies-- my shade is honey bronze and currently i'm on caramel as its summer in merry england!!!

This product is great as a concealer, but you must use moisturizer under it if you're doing the under-eye area, or it looks dry. I also use this on my nose to control shine during the day over my Illuminare Fantastic Finish foundation. Warm Silk is best for BB 2's--Amber for BB 3's.

I agree with kc_sunshine. I had the same thing happen to me. My face would breakout in these tiny bumps on my forehead and nose area. I did not suspect the purepressed base because of the all the claim about it been gentle and good for your skin, but I was really horrified at how it made me breakout. I am prone to cosmetic breakouts but have never broken out as bad not even with foundation from Prescriptive. I am SO DISAPPOINTED in all mineral powders, as they all broke me out.

I bought the shade Amber, which is a little too light for me. It will work for now, but when I get darker this summer I will have to try another color. This goes on evenly, covers my red, ruddy places, and is matte. Several hours later, after working outside and sweating, it still looked quite good. (and sweat was actually running down my face!) I thought there would be streaks, but I was thrilled to see there wasn't! I believe I'll be looking for a darker shade this summer.

I really wanted to like this powder. It does provide matte natural looking coverage, BUT oily skinned gals beware. It made me much oilier than any foundation I own, liquid or powder. I even bought the PurMatte Finish Powder they recommmend for oily skin, but it doesn't help. It would be great option for normal/dry skin, but there are better choices for oily skin (like Aromaleigh). Also, the lightest shade Bisque is too dark for me.

Well I have to say that this is better than MAC Studiofix in my opinion..I have a very pinkish skintone that I need to cover and this does it for me..I get more concentrated coverage and it covers better withougt looking cakey..I also like the fact that there is sunscreen in the product! I have combo/mild rosacea skin and this is kind to it..The compact makes it portable as well..Best applied with a flocked sponge or the Buddha Duster from WTF..A definite re-purchase..

After trying Philosophy's mineral powder and Bare Escentuals, I like this one the best. I have rosacea and tend to be blotchy left to my own devices. Couple of quick swipes with this, and I'm all one, natural looking color. Only caveats: Let your moisterizer soak in as long as you possibly can and don't use very much. Otherwise you WILL end up looking like an oil slick. This is mine and my derm's favorite thing in the world!
