I've bought this three times, all years spaced apart.

How silly of me. I should have remembered how much I hated this.

No volume. No definition. No length. This is only mascara to flat-out give me clumps. But, it made my pale lashes look black. It's natural, I suppose?

This is super cheap, that's the only reason I've ever bought it. Hopefully I'll remember not to buy this again.

I like the pink and green packaging of this mascara and the fact that it does not clump. For me it didn't do anything special and so although it's affordable I will not be repurchasing.

Not sure why people aren't a fan of this one! I guess everyone suits different things, but this mascara has been my saving grace for quite a while now!
I bought this at my local superdrug a few months back as a cheaper alternative to the MAC mascara I was using at the time. I've found that this mascara is amazing for enhancing my lashes and making them look long and full! I do apply several coats, as I like my lashes to look the fullest they can, but this is no problem and only takes a minute as the mascara dries so quickly!
I am getting to the end of the bottle now, which means the mascara is getting less and less usable, but I will definitely be repurchasing this at the end of this week as it has been a cheap, firm favourite!
Always seem to get lots of people asking where my mascara is from when I wear this one and nobody can believe how cheap it is for what it does and how long it lasts!!
Also seems to curl lashes too, giving them a natural, yet glam look!

I buy this every now and then because it's cheap, forgetting how much I hate the formula. I end up looking like Beetlejuice within two hours because it just rubs off when I blink and it does nothing for my short, straight lashes.

I liked this product, and you probably will too if you enjoy a natural looking lash. However, I have gone cruelty free with my makeup within the past few months so I will not be repurchasing this. It's a shame, this was my favourite mascara.

I have no idea why people like this mascara, I have tried a few times over the years and always find it to be useless. There is very little color payoff and there no volumizing or lengthening at all. To each his own I guess.

Great Lash isn't horrible if you're only looking for a mascara that subtly enhances your natural lashes. Applied lightly it is quite decent and will not clump.

The problem starts when you try do multiple coats to gain some volume. The directions on the back say not to wait between coats - when I did that I got zero volume because each wet layer is immediately brushed off when you go over it again with the bristle.

The only way to gain volume with Great Lash is to let the mascara dry between coats. If you are careful there will only be minimal clumps, but most of the time it clumps. Even if you manage to get a clump-free result, this mascara tends to flake when applied in thicker layers.

Verdict: buy this if you like the very subtle, "no makeup" makeup look.

This is one of the first mascaras that every girl gets as a child. Why, you may ask? Because it was cheap and gave a natural look. When I was in 7th grade, a natural look was all I needed. So it was good back then, when I wanted a natural look, not for my 15 year old self who wants a dramatic voluminous look nowadays.

Not sure why this product has been popular for so many years. I tried it once in high school and wasn't impressed. Bought it again last year, which confirmed for me that it's a mediocre, almost useless product.
All this really does is darken your lashes a little bit. No volume, a bit of length a first, but falls flat quickly after applying. Even if you were going for a natural look, wouldn't you at least like a hint of volume? I certainly would, but I suppose if you did want to only darken and nothing else, this could be the perfect product for you.
It's super cheap, you can get it for about $4, but that's still $4 wasted that could have been put towards a different mascara.
I see this as being a mascara that your mother who doesn't usually wear makeup might buy, or something you might buy for your twelve year old daughter to wear to her school dance with a strawberry Lip Smackers because it's barely noticeable.
