This mascara is boring, and does nothing for my lashes.
My lashes look thicker and longer after having them tinted, and much less clumpy than this useless mascara.

Let me start out by saying, this is by far not my favorite mascara. But, it's not horrible. It's a little too wet for my eyelashes, and being wet, it doesn't give my lashes an even, spaced look. I like my lashes more full then long. None the less, the formula for this is quite nice. The thing that kinda sets me away from this so often is the brush. It's too small, and I feel like it's just an awkward size. The actual teeth are a little too firm, and short.
I wish there was a "probably" option for purchasing again. Because it's not a bad product, it's just something quick, easy, and affordable.

I bought this because I needed a new mascara and with most mags favouring this as a cult classic product I thought I'd get it,when I applied it it took ages for it to dry and it later smeared on my under eyes,it made my lashes look thin and sparse.it stung my eyes if I rubbed my eyes.such a terrible product it's not even worth it's cheap price

i wish i could of loved this mascara because it is so cheap and afordable...I actually like the one with the big brush better then the original small brush.,...but thats my preference.....but either way i cant use this mascara because it always ends up flaking or smudging on me...and i dont like the flaky racoon eyes look...but if you have dry skin or your eyelashes arent always hitting your lids...this mascara can work really well for you...it is really dark and volumizing and for the price it is great

I think that this mascara is decent but it's not my favourite. You have to make sure that you wipe the brush before applying it or else you'll probably end up looking like you have five lashes! It makes your lashes longer, but as for the volume part this isn't the most effective mascara.

I find it so odd because I know a lot of people swear by this product, but it just never did it for me.

It doesn't really do anything special to my lashes, is super wet, and gets clumpy if you do a 2nd coat. I guess if you don't like much of a pop and just a little definition of your lashes, this would be great for you.

I've tried the regular one, the one with the curved applicaor, and I've even tried the "big brush" one which wound up leaving mascara on my lids.

Really didn't like this product and wouldn't get it again, although I love Maybelline's other mascaras.

I am a huge fan of the Maybelline Full & Soft mascara. I bought this in a pinch when the F&S wasn't available. It looks ok going on, but flakes off horribly. Won't buy this again. Going back to the Maybelline Full & Soft

This is by no means a "great" mascara. I occaisionally used it in high school because I couldn't afford better mascaras and my mom would often by this line. The worst aspect of this mascara in my opinion is how leaky, inky, and smudge-y it is. The formula is wayyyy too wet and thick and too much product is dispersed onto the wand-- leading to unwanted smears and extremely clumpy lashes. It's just too difficult to work with. Don't get me wrong, I love dramatic, thick, long looking lashes and an inkier mascara! I love Maybelline's Falsies line. However, Great Lash's formula is total and utter crap. I dislike it so much that I'd rather wear no mascara at all than use it.

This is my favorite mascara. I can afford more expensive products. My friends make fun of me that I use this one. But!!! I love it.

I find that this mascara clumps a lot and is therefore difficult to apply. The only good thing about this product is the price.

I tried this product 20 years ago and hated it. I thought after so many years they would have reformulated it into a great product. Saw some positive reviews here and thought maybe it had been improved. Wrong! This is just as bad as the first time I used it, and I am never going back. Flakes like crazy, smears, clumps, yuck! In the bin it goes.

I bought this because many people were raving about it and the packaging looked good and it was just an impulse buy. It was very cheap and I didn't need to save up for it.
I was very disappointed in this. I love maybelline mascaras I think maybelline is THE BEST if you're looking for a good drugstore mascara but the great lash just wasn't.
It clumped my eyelashes. It didn't give me length or volume. And overall it just didn't look good. I don't recommend this at all. But any other maybelline mascara I recommend!

Not a good product for Canadian girls or people who go into the cold! Flakes very easily in cold weather, you will be wearing a good amount of it all over your face within a few moments of hitting the cold air. Flakes then will smear on your face. A good amount of product will end in the corners of your eyes as well. Definitely pass on this if you are in the cold at all, maybe it works in warmer climates but it's a pass in my books.

I for the longest time was only a Diorshow mascara wearer, it was by far the best one I have used but pricey. I tried a few drugstore brands such as Revlon 3D mascara and hated them! This mascara is great.. I will say that it is great for a daytime everyday look but it works close enough to my Diorshow that I am willing to use this! The only thing I would say is that use an eyelash curler before applying and you will get great results! So glad my mom put this in my stocking. And I should mention I have the new lots of lashes version with the different shaped brush.

I'm so upset that this has such low reviews! I think people don't really know the secret to this mascara..

It's wet. Really wet. That's a good thing because, if used sparingly, it lasts me a good long while.

Because the formula is so wet, it really coats every lash. If you are looking for voluminous, spider lashes, this is not for you. If you are looking for lashes that are defined but natural looking, try this.

I have also found that this is a LOVELY base if used under your favorite mascara. I find it helps to separate the lashes and prevent clumping when you use other msscaras. So, for those of you that absolutely hate it and just have it laying in their makeup drawer, get it out and try it like this!

I always keep one of these in my stash.

Best mascara I've ever tried. I wear two different types of mascara on my lashes, and this is one of them. It makes my lashes so long and lovely looking, although it does tend to smudge quickly so beware.

Is there a word stronger than hate? If so then I stronger than hate this mascara. I don't know why this gets such high marks in all the mags. It's just a meh mascara.
Cons:
*Darkest color isn't very black
*Brush is terrible (makes my lashes look shorter!!)
*Ugly packaging (it's not vintage, it's just ugly)

Pros:
*Doesn't irritate my eyes
*Good for a daywear, work mascara (it's better than using nothing at all)
*Cheap as dirt
I won't buy it again.
