I bought this product based on the reviews here, and must say I have not been disappointed. I am not looking for a 'super-deep, I laid out all day at the beach with baby oil' type of tan, so this is really perfect for me. Just enough color to keep the pasties away. The look is very natural, and the smell is okay too. It's kind of coconut meets banana and something else. It is a little on the sweet side, but not bad. No icky self-tanner smell. Also, it makes my skin super soft! Can't speak to its firming abilities as I've only used it a few days now. I will update later. So far so good! Love the pump dispenser and this stuff is super cheap! Get thee some and banish the winter pasties!

I love this self tanner and i have tried the following: Jergens, Vaseline, Banana Boat and Neutrogena.

Cost: $5.77 at walmart

Packaging: Pump dispenser, and is quite efficient

Smell: I actually smell no self tanner smell. It smells like bananas. Sometimes it gets to me becuase its really sweet. But compared to other self tanners it smells amazing.

Color: After 2 applications i notice a nice bronzey color. After a few more i'm totally tan, and im tan to begin with!!!

Firming Action: I notice a slight firming action. Even though that isn't why i bought it so im happy with the slight firming.

I will buy this again becuase i've used it everyday for two weeks and i'm not even halfway through the container yet!!! very good buy if i do say so myself!!!

I applied this for the first time yesterday after my shower. Today I could notice the color a lot & not orange at all! Does not smell like self tanner but has a strong scent (kinda like banannas?). I will continue to use this everyday this week to see how the color builds. Update: Makes me look like I came from the tanning bed without the damage!!! I don't put this on my face because of the strong scent..I like Clarins liquid bronze for my face.

The smell is nice, it's dirt cheap, and it couldn't be easier to apply. However, there were two things I didn't like about this product - 1) I couldn't get much color with it. If you're pale, it would be nice, but I wanted something deeper. 2) I am pretty certain the coconut oil (big sensitive skin no-no) in it was breaking me out. I had some minor but weird acne right when I was using this, and it went away when I stopped. So stear clear of face, chest, back.

I bought this self tanner based on the other reviews here. I have used it for a few days now, and I am now a bronzed goddess (ok, maybe not a goddess, but I definitely have a nice glow). I used to use HT but this far surpasses it. I love the price, the pump bottle (so much easier to get it even), and the color. The scent is strong, but not at all unpleasant. No tanning smell whatsoever. New HG for me! For reference, I am very pale in the winter but tan well in the summer. This looks like I've been basking in the sun for days (which I no longer do due to the whole skin cancer, wrinkle factor). Go buy this stuff!!

lovely, lovely! my super pasty self is delighted not to look so pasty anymore! no, i probably won't rely on this in the summer when i'd like to have a darker fake bake (nature screwed me with my binary skin: i'm either whitey white or a shade of red previously unknown to man, and the oh-so-sadly-overpriced BE faux tan gives me a really credible dark tan), but for giving up my night-of-the-living-dead look for glowy, this certainly does the trick! and i agree with all the other reviewers: as far as the notorious DHA smell goes, this is probably as inoffensive as it gets (i can smell the slightest HINT of DHA after the lotion has been on my skin for a couple hours if i really aggressively sniff after it like a bloodhound, which i only did because i could not BELIEVE how great it smelled. smell-wise, this is HG). oh, if only they also offered a darker formula for those summer months! definitely, definitely try it out!
UPDATE: sigh. just looked at the ingredients, and was sad to see that coconut oil (HIGHLY comedogenic) was the second ingredient. i'm not sure if i'm being paranoid about this being the culprit for a recent breakout (it's no worse than 'spontaneous' breakouts that occur when i'm on a stable skin regimen, so maybe it's just one of those), but with my super acne-prone skin, i'm not taking any chances. really heartbreaking, but at least i can use on my body. sigh. i really wanted this to be my HG face self-tanner.

Great stuff! I knew when I first saw this at Walmart that I needed it! It really does give you a glow like the ladies have said here...
I feel very beachy and lit from within, which is hard to do with a self tanner alone! The color is a warm tan, but not orange and not brown which is PERFECT IMO!

The price is right too. You can find this stuff with the facewash and lotions, usually it is near the cosmetics section in Walmart. I am so glad I bought this stuff, it is my favorite tanning type product. It no doubt beats all of the gradual buildup products (natural glow etc) and works FAST ..

The only thing is (as with most self tanners) you need to either wash your palms right away, or use lotion on them ...the first couple times I used this product in the car, without thinking that it would build up to such a great color so fast, and my palms were a brownish color! I personally like to slather this on (evenly!) and rub lotion in my palms and rub what is left on my palms onto my legs or stomach or neck area so that none is left on my palms..

Like everyone has said, the smell is great, and the price is great, and the product works great...absolutely I will be purchasing this when I run out, I kinda consider it a secret weapon of golden-ness! :)

Beautiful golden color, cheap, and smells great. After only one day of use, I already have a lovely golden tone to my pale skin, with no obnoxious shimmer or flecks of gold. It smells positively tropical going on, and as I type this, seven hours later, there is no telltale DHA smell (which, on me, tends to be very strong with other lotions).

For $4.99 for 18 ounces, you can't beat it: Cheaper, better quality, and better results than the Jergens, Olay, and Nivea. Highly recommended.

LOVE IT! i use this in the morning b/c it smells really nice (like tanning oil, tropical/coconuty or somthing) and its very moisterizing. it really does give you a golden glow rather then a dull brown color you get from most self-tanning lotions, NO ORANGE! and it doesnt streak. i love the pump bottle and for 6 dollars this is great! i recently starting using this during the day and banana boat summer color in deep dark at night, i'm a very pale person with a *slight* tan now that it's summer and this combo is perfect for me, LOVE IT!!!!

I purchased this product at Walmart for under $6.00 for 18 oz bottle with a pump. With virgin hemp seed oil, a pinch of DHA and skin firming complexes make this "golden glow" smell and feel wonderful on the skin. Oh so much better than Jergens, L'Oreal, etc.. The smell is wonderful, like a mixed drink or suntan lotion at the beach (kinda tropical). There is no nasty self tan smell. Also there are no "shimmers" or streak guide in the product. Just a slight tan builing over about a week. I would highly recommend this product to those who hate the smell of the others, but want a "glow" to your skin at an affordable price. Of course it doesn't have sun screen in it. You would think they could just go ahead and put that in it? Oh well! Still a great product!!
